I’ll be the first to admit I was WAY off. That said I assumed McD thought he was better than Gale Gilbert’s jock strap when he made the change.

If they would just allow him to stand on a tower and replace one of our WRs with a garbage can, SUPERBOWL. Why can McDermott see that?

No. Because they can’t separate awful QB play from awful defensive play. Fix one at a time. Nate will at least try to hit those giant WRs downfield.

Having a ****ty QB and ****ty defense are not mutually exclusive. Fixing one (or at least moving away from one that we know is broken) is better than doing nothing. By the logic of “it’s not Tyrod’s fault that the defense can’t tackle” is like saying you shouldn’t put the fire out in your kitchen because the bathroom is flooding.

Keeping a guy who played like Tyrod did last week guerentees you fix NOTHNG.

McDermott??? Are you !@#$ing kidding me? He didnt have them ready? Theyre grown men making millions. This is the same guy everyone was giving game balls to last week. This team on paper should be 3-5 at best. Dont get me wrong. I was pissed. Its the first game I turned off early since I can remember. But blaming the coach? What exactly does he didnt have them ready mean? That award goes to Marv in SB25. Im not saying hes infallible, but this game was lost because the lines on both side sucked, and turnovers. Itll be OK, gents. Well beat NO next week and youll all be back on board with the process.
