I think he got in on the initial push, but pretty crazy they didn't blow it dead. -

Chiefs are doing a good job using Ravens aggressiveness against them. -

Both of these defenses were great last year. Not sure how they will be this year, but not a cupcake matchup. -

In past years it has been either a flag or the DB inexplicably dropping the pick, lol. It's like Mahomes has had a forcefield. -

I haven't seen Lamar go through his progression and throw downfield yet. I think Allen has an advantage there even if we do more of a dink and dunk approach. -

He did it all last year as well. It was a big scandal in week 1 last season, and yet here we are again. -

Flowers is a nice WR to have, but they really need another receiving threat. -

If we wanted a fast guy to run gadget plays with we could have re-signed Isaiah McKenzie. -

For the most part I've been okay with the refs even with the flags. These teams are playing sloppy. -

A few observation so far... 1. KC offense is definitely pulling some misdirection from the bag of tricks. So of these passes have guys wide open. The Bills never have guys wide open like that (at least under Dorsey's offense, I guess we'll see what Brady has). 2. Average air yards for passes has to be super low. Has a pass been completed more than 5 yards down the field? Maybe one? 3. Worthy and Kelce pretty quiet receiving (Worthy did have the trick rushing play, meh). -

I guess the question is who do we think will be the best competition for the #1 seed in the AFC (because I doubt either of these teams are competition for a wild card spot). I think Baltimore is a better regular season team, but their division is tougher. So I think it’s a toss up. -

Even if he has a good game, I think by mid-season teams will have ways of limiting him. He has elite traits, but I think it will take him a couple years to become a well rounded WR. -

Their best offense was when they had two HOF pass catchers in their prime. Hill is gone, and Kelce is less effective than before. -

Hoping Mahomes or Jackson (or both) throw a few picks. Early season narratives seem to carry on for the entire season. -
They are doing undercover hidden camera interviews of a middle manager of a social media team (I know his title is VP, title inflation is an epidemic)? I don’t really consider this person a public figure or the content of this interview in the public interest. We all say things in private that we wouldn’t say directly to the public or our employer. Seems very lame to me.

Week 1 - Cardinals at Bills - Game Week Thread
DapperCam replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’m trying to think about what my strategy would be if I were the Cardinals. On offense, I would attack the middle of the field. Bills will have unproven LB and S out there. If Von Miller is on the field I’m probably running right at him and making him prove he isn’t washed. Homie had 3 total tackles in 12 games played. On defense I probably play soft zone the entire game and don’t give up any deep shots. Bills will score, at least make them eat up some clock in the process. Hope Allen throws some picks. If the Bills play disciplined it should be an easy win. -
That was a really great game. Besides the kicker missing the chip shot at the end of the first half it felt like an NFL game. Both teams played well.

Failed Hamlin fake punt in the Chiefs playoff game.

He outkicked his coverage at least twice that I saw. Special teams in general is pretty bad and will cost us games. I mean it certainly cost us games last year. Bass pretty much lost us the Eagles game with his missed kicks. 12 men on the field vs the Broncos, and the Chiefs game tying miss. Probably more I’ve blocked out of my memory.

Sam Martin in the worst starting punter in the league. I present to you the PFF grades for the preseason. He is below a bunch of punters that were released.

The Athletic Survey: Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson?
DapperCam replied to Sierra Foothills's topic in The Stadium Wall
I guess I just disagree. Mahomes has had some high profile comebacks in the playoffs and superbowl, but in terms of absolute numbers Allen and Mahomes are basically equal. Also having HOF pass catchers, a HOF play caller, and superior o-line play makes it easier to come back when the game is on the line. 4th quarter comebacks: Mahomes - 14 Allen - 13 Game winning drives: Mahomes - 16 Allen - 19 -

Brady was also a “cerebral” type QB. So the offense was really his. Allen isn’t that type of QB (really no current QB is).
