  1. Hopefully the Bills will follow the same trajectory as the Chiefs did from 2018 to 2019.
  2. The trouble is it's nice to hear but it makes it worse. Yes, we were great at times, so what? We're still in the same place as 28 other teams - out. If we were blown out the end result would have been the same. At the moment the platitudes feel empty. @reroka - don't take people's reactions to heart and thank you evry much for your post. It just hurts, and hurts badly at the moment. It may take winning a SB for the feeling to completely ever go away (though obvious time will dull it).
  3. Great review but your final point is spot on. So we played in one of the best play off games ever? Who gives a ****?
  4. There's a video on YouTube where Kelce states he knew the team who won the OT coin toss would win the game.
  5. Yes. On the GDT I said kick it out for a touchback after our ST completely messed up a previous punt return from KC.
  6. Much appreciated but it hurts and, with our history, it feels like neutrals have far more faith in a possible SB win than we do (other than some optimists). 0-6 in one score games and to throw away a match with 13 seconds to go... we did not have Mahomes' number and that will continue to cost us moving forward.
  7. Here’s a hot take - Mahomes didn’t really play out of his skin yesterday. To put it bluntly, we actually made it very easy for him. He carved through our defense like a knife through butter but I don’t think he needed to bring his A Game to do so. There were three drives, IIRC, where we managed to stop him but otherwise too much blown coverage and easy downs. This isn’t a post about how he isn’t as good as Josh etc. as he clearly is, I just think we made life simple yesterday for him and that’s what hurts. The 13-second play was as much about horrific defense as it was superb offense.
  8. Possibly, though they have the Bengals and the Niners in their schedule too so depending out the season pans out, could be one of them. Will have to go some way to better yesterday’s match up though.
  9. You do realise, if they do change them, we’ll be taken to OT next year, score a touchdown on the opening drive and still find a way to lose it?
  10. Who do you replace him with - Fangio?
  11. If anyone hires Frasier after that then good luck to it. And I would like to see how Daboll copes without a world class QB.
  12. Hot take - even if Frasier and Daboll get HC positions it’ll be a long time before I’m comfortable again with McDermott being our head coach.
  13. Overall, I’d say the regular season for Josh personally was good but not good enough. In the play offs he was lights out.
  14. And perhaps KC fans are saying their defense made it easy on him. Though guess it’s easier to give a nod to great play after a win. That 13 second play was all on out defense rather than Mahomes’ undoubted skills, though.
  15. For goodness sake, stop being rational - this is not the time to be rational!
  16. Yeah, agreed. Don’t get me wrong, it’s fine for the OP to ask (and I presume is someone linked to the Chiefs looking for legitimate feedback?) but the atmosphere at Arrowhead is probably not high on our list of priories at the moment. People are salty, tense and grouchy so letting off at something like this is always going to happen, even though the thread can just be ignored. But who knows, by responding it’ll keep the thread near the top and maybe someone will be in the mood to answer the questions.
  17. When does this feeling pass? I don’t feel like my foul mood is going to lift at the moment.
  18. Agreed. I know some of my posts over the past eight hours have been hot takes and over the top but I need the release and the community has been great on not railing on them too bad, understanding the situation. At the moment I’m at the stage of Go (away) Bills - excluding Josh and Gabe.
  19. Yes, and tried to change them - the other franchises voted it down. Someone said that the Bills voted against the proposal; if so we reap what we’ve sown.
  20. As, to put it bluntly, we actually made it very easy for him. 21. Feels like we’ll never be the 32.
  22. OK, but they might have beaten us in regulation had they not been suffering with injuries at secondary.
  23. As well as 0-6 in close games we only won three games against play off sides this year, and two of those were against the Pats. Otherwise in our (overall) 12-7 season, five of the defeats came against play off sides. We’re flat track bullies who cannot turn the screw when it matters - and that comes down to coaching. McDermott should stay, despite my emotional side not caring if I wake up tomorrow to find out he’s left, but he needs to learn fast.
  24. I think being blown out would have hurt less and resulted in justified anger rather than lashing out in upset.
  25. We’ll presumably pick before the Titans, Packers and Bucs due to respective records so we’ll be in at 25?
