  1. Slowmotions Eleven.
  2. I believe they said Ed was injured in Wednesday’s full pad practice, not Thursday’s walk through.
  3. I’m hoping Hancock ends up being a surprise at Safety for us. I agree we need an upgrade.
  4. Interesting stats from NFL week 1: Top scoring teams: 1. Buffalo 41 2. Baltimore 40 3. Pittsburgh 34 4. Indianapolis 33 5. NY Jets 32 The other 27 teams scored between 6 & 27 points, with an average of 17.8 points per team. The Bills & Jets games were by far the highest scoring games in week one. Defense will be the emphasis for both team’s practices this week.
  5. It penalizes Josh getting us first downs on short yardage runs, by lowering his yards per carry. Also, Josh’s 3 kneeling plays at the end were included. He shows 3 carries for-5 yards for those kneel downs.
  6. This is the ultimate homer video. It’s a video of Derrick Henry runs from a very frustrated Raven’s fan who’s trying to blame one Raven’s offensive lineman for the loss. This diehard Raven fan‘s takes: -They have one o-lineman keeping them from rushing the ball well enough to win big games. (Never mind their rushing attack destroyed us almost the entire game!). -Their defense gave the game away…he never mentioned Josh or any Bills offensive player once. He gave zero credit to Buffalo’s offense. I just saved you 26 minutes, unless you want detailed video of every Bills defender not named Ed Oliver getting shoved around or flattened play after play.
  7. Is working out 9 players a normal thing after a week one game? BTW, 3 Punters, 3 DBs, 3 DLs. They were looking in the right direction.
  8. When Lamar ran over to Hopkins and spoke in his ear before that 3rd down play, I told my son that we better be all over Hopkins because Lamar is throwing it to him….. he immediately did.
  9. It’s much less painful watching the first 3 quarters when you know what’s coming in the fourth quarter!
  10. Strong got burned badly by Flowers in man to man coverage on a misdirection flare pass to the right. After watching the replay a couple times, the reason he did was he peaked in the backfield to be sure Henry wasn’t getting the run to the left. Just a one second peak & that’s all Flowers needed. It ended up being a 36 yard gain for Baltimore. Baltimore’s 2 great running options (Henry & Jackson) set up misdirection plays to Flowers very well. I don’t blame the rookie getting fooled in that situation. That was a great play design.
  11. I’m not predicting all 3 of Palmer, Coleman & Shakir will get to 1000 receiving yards this season. That would be remarkable & record setting. I just think they each have the potential to get there. In other words, I wouldn’t be surprised if any one of those 3 receivers had 1000 yards this season. This would be assuming Josh will get close his last 5 season average of 4200 passing yards.
  12. I know this is so last year, but last night’s game was an example of “everybody eats”. 5 different players had at least 4 receptions, with at least one of each receiver’s reception being over 20 yards. 9 different players caught passes, 4 WRs, 3 TEs & 2 RBs. We don’t have any superstars at WR, but as a complete receiver group (including TEs & RBs), we are pretty good. Coleman, Shakir & Palmer all look capable of getting 1000 receiving yards in a season.
  13. I agree on Rapp. One Henry run displayed an obviously bad angle by Rapp (everyone saw that one). Rapp looked very slow. On another big Henry run, Rapp launched himself shoulder first into Henry as he came through the line. Rapp just bounced off Henry’s thigh/hip and Henry wasn’t even slightly slowed down. Rapp’s best hit may have been on Benford after Hopkins caught the TD pass.
  14. I hope Hancock is not on the inactive list again next week. We need to get him on the field in a regular season game and see how he performs. I’m losing confidence in Rapp & Bishop. The contrast between Baltimore’s safeties and our safeties was embarrassing. It was like comparing Josh Allen & Nathan Peterman.
  15. Glenn has a great RB! When healthy, Breece Hall is one of the best RBs in the league.
