In context, his comments were based off of the Ravens record 24 preseason game winning streak coming to an end. But, he hits the nail on the head on why preseason is still important. Not the outcome of games, the 90s Bills proved that the outcome doesn’t matter, but fighting for a spot on the field matters. Even when we go to an 18 game season (which I’m in favor of), preseason will still have its place. "Preseason games that people want to write about and say they don't mean anything because you never played the game. You never were out there in a preseason game. You never were fighting for a spot on the field. And yet you have the audacity to say that the effort that somebody puts into that to fight and win a game like that is meaningless." Won’t play against the Colts but McD indicated JA will play at some point in the preseason. I’d say a series or two in the 2nd preseason game. Go Bills!

Even if the Jets are going to be a good team and a tough out, they have a decent chance to start poorly. While not a murderer’s row, their first part of the schedule is pretty tough. Depending on how poor of a start, it could be a tough hole to get out of. Bills, at Cowboys, Pats, Chiefs, at Broncos, Eagles, at Giants and Chargers Go Bills!

I’m hoping for that too, bro. While our playoff drought was bad, at least it’s not the longest playoff drought in NFL history. The Commanders, Cardinals (St. Louis/Chicago), Steelers (was surprised by this one) and the Saints have had longer playoff droughts.
