  1. How many pro-bowl quality safeties were available at the end of the third round in 2007?
  2. Is Poz Captain Hammer? http://www.zentertainment.com.au/images/captain-hammer1.jpg
  3. Looks like we'll see our old friend Trent Green on Sunday. EDIT: Yes, Bulger was also benched last year, but he's been benched again in 2008. Ignore any links pointing you in that direction, and see here: http://blogs.nfl.com/2008/09/23/rams-bench-bulger/
  4. I think we played out trap game. Now they know they have to come to play, and the Rams don't stand a chance.
  5. Hardy only catches game-winning touchdown passes. Yesterday, we won on a field goal.
  6. Before the season, going 10-6 seemed like such a long hall. Now to get there, we only have to go 7-6. Seven wins in thirteen games is nothing, with this schedule and this team, it's below us. 11-5 is only a 8-5 finish; that's not so hard.
  7. I don't know - I usually prefer getting the ball in the second half. It's great to get out to a hot start, but that first possession after halftime is a key, key point in the game.
  8. Had we lost this game, Shane Lechler needed a game ball. That was a perfect punting game.
  9. And to think, how many picks earlier did Russel go than Edwards?
  10. what else do you need to say?
  11. If we get up by a touchdown, this game is over - the Raiders can grind out to an occasional FG, but they've been stopped on offense.
  12. Well, best case is this: They played an awful, mistake prone, boneheaded half of football...and trail by two points and will get the ball. As long as they wake up, they don't have to worry.
  13. Is anyone listening on the radio? Murphy is about as flat as the Bills.
  14. Throw to the endzone here. Now's the time to take your shot.
  15. Channelsurfing skips and crawls for me - it's painful. ANy suggestions on how to get it to flow more smoothly? Any particular browser?
  16. Look at the stats for that game - the Bills outgained the Raiders through the air and on the ground, and still lost 34-13? McFadden was held to 28 yards, and the whole team averaged about 3 yards per play (compared to over six for the Bills). And, had Janikowski not missed two field goals, we would have given up 40 points? It's a video game - did it just get stuck on "fumble" at the end of every Bills' play?
  17. It looks like McFadden got beat up pretty badly by the defensive line, but then got away from the secondary when he did break through. This is because the Chiefs have a terrible secondary - and linebacker corps, for that matter. A 30 yard gain against them is a 6 yard stop by Donte Whitner against us.
  18. I remember watching NFL Primetime after the game, with Chris Berman showing the Raider's field goal and announcing "ANd LA has closed the gap to 7-3! But if you're a Raiders fan...that was...it."
  19. This has been the longest negotiation I've ever seen where both sides keep talking about how great everything is going. I wonder if there's just really not a sense of urgency - the Bills have probably told Evans that he'll get the franchise tag if he doesn't sign, which also sets a reasonable floor. So they've got to July to work something out.
  20. Since leaving the Rams, Warner's record as a starter is 15-22. Bulger is 38-34.
  21. I merely refer you to this: http://xkcd.com/386/
  22. Just look down to #32 and it'll put a smile on your face.
  23. Unless Barack Obama or Sarah Palin put in a bid to buy out Ralph Wilson, I am utterly uninterested in hearing either of their names on this board.
  24. It levels the playing field in the event of injuries. Now, each team gets up to six injured players on the roster without playing short-handed; if every player was active, then the team with fewer injuries would have a significant advantage - even more than they do already.
