  1. Dorian is my secret favorite player on the Bills. Now my secret is known.
  2. Explosiveness and pure brute strength....which are also Ed's best attributes.
  3. He was more than an impact player. For one game, he was peak Aaron Donald.
  4. This one is even more fun.... Dataroma @ffdataroma Keon Coleman separation metrics in Week 1, per @FantasyPtsData (min 10 routes): Separation Score: -0.049 (88th of 105 WRs) Route Win Rate: 0.0% (tied for last)
  5. My thought on the Coleman tipped td, it seems that Knox purposely tipped it backward. He knew he couldn't catch it, so he guided it toward the back of the endzone. That being said, I bet you're right.....he was probably throwing to Shakir.
  6. We root for two different teams. I like my team way better than you like yours. Enjoy the season (if you can).
  7. I'll keep it short and sweet. The Bengals haven't been in the playoffs the last two seasons. The Bills are 2-0 against the Ravens in the playoffs. So our roster "full of JAGS" and lacking in Blue Chip Players seems to be doing just fine. Your take on Brandon Beane being a mediocre GM wasting the prime years of the guy he drafted belongs to you and not to any semblance of the truth. You can keep it. And please remember it when this team ultimately climbs the mountain (which I'm guessing will upset you)
  8. You hold him in higher regard. I believe ESPN just ranked Burrow as the #1 QB in the NFL. I think he'd be just fine with Coleman and Kincaid. You speak as if both Coleman and Kincaid are bad players. I have high hopes for both.
  9. ngbills was talking about the first 3 rounds. Beane has to be one of the best day 3 drafters out there. That's where he got Taron Johnson, Christian Benford, Khalil Shakir, Ray Davis, Tylan Grabel, Wyatt Teller, SVP, Javon Solomon, Gabe Davis. And look out for Hancock, Deone Walker, Dorian Strong, Jackson Hawes, etc. In no way am I arguing that he doesn't have his misses. He does. But, and this is a tough one to grasp, two things can be true simultaneously. 1.) Beane has continually displayed a good eye for talent across the draft, free agency, and in trades. AND 2.) He's made some missteps along the way that he'd like to have back. But there's one thing we can't argue; The Bills have a top 3 record in the NFL since he took over. And don't give me the "It's all Josh Allen" crap. If that were the case Joe Burrow and Justin Herbert would be in the playoffs every year. And both of those teams struggle.
  10. Just so you know the big bad Chiefs in that same period; 2021: Traded a 1rst round pick for average Orlando Brown who is no longer on the team 2022: Drafted Sky Moore in the 2nd round 2023: Drafted Feliz-Anduike-I NEVER PLAY in the first round and Wanya Morris in the 3rd 2024: Drafted Kingsley Suamataia (barely saw the field last year) in the 2nd round And that's not to mention Claude Edwards Helaire in the first round the year before. As for home runs and triples, like the Chiefs, we have our hits. If Spencer Brown isn't a triple in the 3rd, and Cook isn't a triple in the 2nd, I don't know what to tell you.
  11. First 3 Rounds only The 2021 class yielded 2 key starters (Rousseau and Spencer Brown) and a miss in Boogie. The 2022 class yielded 2 key starter (Cook and T. Bernard) and a miss (Elam)-which was accounted for with a 6th round hit (Benford) The 2023 class yielded 2 starters (Kincaid, Cybo) and a key rotational player (Dorian Williams) The 2024 class is your this year's starting wide receiver and safety (Coleman and Bishop) and your DL5 who we'll call a miss. That's 8 starters out of 12 picks and Dorian Williams (one of my favorites). We pick near the last of each round. Round 3 picks are near #100. But narratives are fun and don't require facts.
  12. When he came into the league he was guarded, uncomfortable in front of the camera, had difficulty expressing himself, and seemed generally tense. Watching him now, https://www.buffalobills.com/video/ed-oliver-the-rookies-keep-me-young is like watching a completely different guy. He's aware that he's changed and speaks to it several times. From a human interest stand-point, I find his maturation fascinating.
  13. Ahhh....I need to reword my post. I was talking strictly from a personality stand-point. On field, I completely agree, he's been a mixed bag.
  14. I'm going with Ed Oliver. I love watching his press conferences these days. What a difference from his early years! He's honest, self-aware, thoughtful, and composed. Anybody else come to mind both currently or in the past?
  15. I agree....good house. With a good summer, could become a great house.
