The bats barely show up and they still squeak out a split. Not pretty but I’ll take it.
Wow, wow, wow. My kids went up to the game, they called screaming after judge walked off

I liked it better than Ozark finale, and the Ozarks finale almost ruined my opinion of the entire series

Well today sucked, especially after the arbitration outcome

Story probably sucks as much as the movie. One of my list of opinions that could cause me bodily harm. Not getting Radiohead might be tied for the top position

I was 2 days ago (Thursday) when I found out this song wasn't the Doors.

I watched it this morning, great for nostalgia, but pretty weak overall

Need to keep our collective fingers crossed that arbitration is avoided before tomorrow. The Yankees need to give Judge a very favorable deal

I started on netfixs' "gods favorite idiot". It starts Ben falcone and wife Melissa McCarthy, among others. I'm 5 episodes in and I'm really enjoying it. Interesting premise, pretty damned funny. Admittedly, I think Melissa McCarthy is absolutely hilarious, I know others don't. The episodes are short, there's a lot of humor outside of the 2 marquis stars.

I need to seek out Jamie Jones in the Philadelphia area

An evening with that awful man and his manager coming to a venue near you. You don't hear him speak often so this is certainly different.
As long as he leaves that talentless wife at home 😁

Concert season started for me yesterday with a street festival in my area, Melvin Seals and JGB, Jade Bird, Yellowman and a few others. I was there for Melvin and Jade, they absolutely killed it. Then today John Kadlecik (who played with Melvin last night) did a small acoustic set at a bar near me. A nice 4pm set to close the weekend!

I’m loving Shoresy.
2nd episode was much better than the first. I think the key is separating shoresy from both letterkenny shoresy and Wayne. He's a completely different character

Good luck. It's really a tough disease for the whole family.
It is a rough one. One of the biggest issues with my parents is my Mom is 81 going on 50, she can’t slow her vibrancy down, frustrates the f*** out of both. I went up to help them out for a week a few weeks ago. I saw very positive progress in very short order, but with every great day comes a challenging day. New neurologist who specializes in movement disorders is coming on board next week. I’m looking forward to seeing what he brings to the table. My Dad was going to a Parkinson’s centric boxing class pre-knee replacement, he’s almost to a point to go back and that will be a huge milestone, both physically and mentally for both my parents

I take a multi-vitamin/mineral once a week just to cover anything that might be lacking in diet. I take a Lions Mane supplement and cod liver oil pills.
My mother passed away from parkinson's disease so I eat foods that are good for brain health. I do not want that disease! I eat blueberries, Almonds, spinach, broccoli, ev olive oil and other greens
My Dad is struggling with Parkinson’s/movement disorder. Otherwise healthy but damn it’s really slowing him down. Having knee replacement a month ago is adding to his woes, but he’s working with specialists to try and minimize the effects. Fingers crossed

I've actually started consuming more fermented foods rather than supplements, been reading and hearing a lot about gut bacteria and how important it seems to be to overall health. I got some milk kefir grains from a Mennonite farm, kombucha starter on Friday, making and eating a lotof fermented vegetables as well. So far results look promising in a small sample set. We'll see how it goes over time

Another network show that I'm watching on Hulu. Flatch, it's pretty damned funny. I get a corner gas/letterkenny vibe from it, mostly because of the small town aspect of it, stifler is the only actor I recognize, and he's even pretty much a supporting role. I'm about 6 episodes in and am really enjoying it

I'm a hicks and gallo fan, but it's time to think before we lose andujar. I get the contracts are big factors but I'd hate to see miggy leave like that, not that the Yankees are going to just let him leave

Just started E1 of apple+ prehistoric earth with David Attenborough and done by Jon favreau. I would watch Attenborough narrate paint drying. The cinematography and CGI is visually stunning. I think it's 5 45-60 minute episodes. I'm always a sucker for the BBC planet earth series and this one seems to be a homerun so far

Being a NY Yankee for all those years, I'm sure he is guilty of something and should have been arrested.

Just starting the Norm McDonald Netflix show. I'm about 3 minutes in and I'm not sure I can make it the entire show. I think he was funny AF, but this format of him speaking into a microphone at home isn't working. Norm's brilliance was in the crowd or interviewers interaction. This is just him talking into a computer. I'm gonna try to stick with it, but it's not going to be easy

I can't remember if I suggested this one before but if liked her in Schitt$ Creek, Annie Murphy is on a show on AMC called Kevin Can F*** Himself. It definitely has it's dark moments and love it's take on traditional sitcoms.
Thanks for reminding me about that show. I have wanted to check it out

Not to derail this, but if you havent seen The Office, 30 Rock, Parks & Rec, Community, and The Good Place, you're doing yourself a disservice.
Can vouch for all ages except the good place. The rest are awesome! Never watched any of them live, only repeats on streaming

I'm watching Barry on HBO Max, it's pretty interesting. Very dark, some funny moments, gotta suspend reality while watching it, but definitely worth checking out
