  1. perfect example of why there needs to be serious overhaul of the transfer portal, this would be his 4th team in 3 transfers, that's just not sustainable, they need to limit it to 1 per player unless extreme circumstances.  kind of a loss on paper, but honestly, he disappeared a lot this season, sounds like we have plenty of backfill coming in

  2. I use that exact 'mask' it's a lot more comfortable than the full mask.

I was diagnosed several years ago.  Got to a point where the mask woke me up as much as the apnea did and stopped using it.  But I got retested a while ago, updated my CPAP and have started again.  Test had me at 30+ events / hour, CPAP has me at around .4.  And I figure that even if I don't necessarily get more sleep with it on, the sleep I do get is more restful and better for me than oxygen deprivation so I'm trying to stick with it.  As a predominantly side-sleeper, I'm gonna switch to pillows/top-of-the-head hose once it's time to replace gear.  The front hose is still a hassle for me.

My dad just found he has moderate sleep apnea after getting tested.

  4. Let's not take the blame off of us, the consumers, these workers have to deal with us, and i've seen how we act to the working class

So, when I was a teenager and I worked in fast food, I was taught to be polite to customers and drop everything for a customer’s request.

Maybe it’s just me, but have times changed? I go to retail and restaurant places now where I get from an employee, “hold on a minute. I’m busy.” Or a hostess at a restaurant stand waiting to roll another 20 napkins before deciding to turn to me to seat me. Or an usher at a symphony concert who is standing there holding programs, but doesn’t give me one or even acknowledge me.

These are just a few examples. But this sort of stuff happens to me almost all the time. Is it just me? Are workers these days just ruder? Am I just becoming a curmudgeon?

  5. I'm with you, S1 lost me.  I need to give it another shot as people are raving about the 2nd season

Severance season 1  would have made 10 great half hour episodes but they threw in so much filler it was boring for too long, and then waited so many years to do season 2, I am not going back. I will state i thought "Night agent" season 1 was strong but season 2 was garbage.

  6. Wasn't Mintz's family kind of bitching during his short tenure there?  i'd take this with a big grain of salt.  Hopefully it's just a bunch of hot air

  7. Heard they used the zone....let's hope it's a sign of good things, unfortunately Duke is looming

I watched the Cal game and they actually looked good. Maybe they are turning the corner a little.

  8. I'm not ready to give up on him yet.  He's earned at least another season.  I hope it's not just me being a total homer, but i think the dude can coach, he just doesn't have the cohesive pieces at this moment.  we'll see

I’m starting to think that there is no way Autry is the coach next season.  This team is not improving…particularly on defense.  I can’t take it anymore.

  9. Yeah, it was the other dad!  Sure🤣

There was another dad on my son’s basketball team who would seek me out at every gym we went to. I think he thought we were friends, but it got to the point other people didn’t want to be around me, because they knew he would show up and they didn’t want to have to create distance in his presence because it was awkward when people ran from his stench. So there I was. 🤢 🤮

I’m not saying he needed full body deodorant, but at the very least a very long walk in the rain would be a nice start and make the world a better place. It was horrific, and my wife and son still kid me about it decades later. There was no escaping him! If I went to the restroom or concession stand and took a different seat, he’d hunt me down all over again!

  10. the social media platforms have been showing a lot of card collecting content and there are some people out there doing some really cool things for the hobby.  Coops Collection is a pokemon collector and what he does for kids and families is really cool  Another guy, king of cards(?) seems to be a really cool collector who is very generous and honest in his negotiations.  They  are fun to watch

  11. It'll be interesting to see if Bill participates.  It would be awesome, but i really think he's loving his life in Hawaii.  I did hear of a potential bi-coast event put on by peter shapiro to honor Phil

It's a shame Phil passed. Bob, Bill, and Mickey confirmed that there were plans for all 4 of the surviving Grateful Dead members to do a tour in 2025 celebrating their 60-year anniversary. I guess the 3 surviving members can still do that. I would imagine Bruce Hornsby would join them as he played with the Grateful Dead for many shows. Look for something in the works next year celebrating the 60-year anniversary of the Dead.
