Seriously of all the bad contracts, the Knox one is just astoundingly bad. We all talk ***** about the Von Miller deal (I sure am) but there wasn’t many of us complaining until the ACL injury. We just had the classic Buffalo Bills luck with that one. But with Dawson it’s just inexcusable. Seriously what did Beane or anybody see that made them think a 14 million plus salary in 2024 made sense?
-
Yes, the board is probably insecure. Probably having to do with the fact that our team is never gonna win a Super Bowl despite having one of the best QBs around. But anyways, hey Saul, here’s the deal… If we need you, we’ll call you. Or Walt and Jesse can go and kidnap you. Otherwise, we’re cool! Thanks for your time.
-
For a while. He had like 17.5 sacks for Jacksonville this year. Duh.
-
Do you really get to mock the topics on the board when...uhhh....you're on here contributing to the topics. On, as I mentioned before, a board dedicated to a team you don't like. A week and change after your team won the Super Bowl. I usually don't do this online, cuz it's all just play for the most part, but seriously how miserable can your life be if you need to come to a Buffalo Bills football forum to complain about lack of love on said board for a 28 year old bazillionaire who plays for your team? Like, WHO GIVES A SH!T? Go enjoy your teams success and stop concerning yourself with perceived slights. I know if my team won the Super Bowl, I wouldn't be going to other teams forums doing this. Actually if my team were 0-17 I wouldn't do it either, because once again, WHO THE SH!T cares?!

You are just making things up. Nobody is tearing down KC or anything. At the very best, maybe there are some who think the Bills may have had better luck if they had less injuries, but literally nobody thinks KC got "lucky" against the Bills. They've beaten them 3 times in the postseason. This whole "fuel yourself by claiming disrespect*" is an odd product of the 2020s. It's odd. The Chiefs have a dynasty. I don't recall Jordan and the Bulls and their fans claiming disrespect in the '90s, nor do I remember Jeter and the Yankees whining about how nobody gave them the respect the deserved. But then again, we are in an era where both sides of the political divide constantly do their very best to show you how put-upon they are and why you should feel sorry for them. It's this oddly American theme of look how hard the odds were stacked up against me, and how the media hated me, and my mom threw me out on the street, but look at me now. I'm on top. (NOTE: This isn't really a controversial political opinion since it blatantly exclaims how both sides are so guilty of it!) Seriously you're just pulling this stuff out of your ass. Imagine going to the forum of a football team who isn't even your favorite team and wasting your time there. Just.....wow.
-
Oh shut the f uck up. Your team just won the Super Bowl and every in the media licks Mahomes nuts. Lay off with the whole "nobody respect my team" thing.
-
Yes, he lost a regular season game because he couldn't count. A regular season game that very well could've kept us out of a playoff spot. Also, where has he improved? Clock management? Did a hell of a job with that against KC in the divisional round, that's for sure. Whatever he's learned about getting the most out of his defense in the playoffs hasn't amounted to *****-all. Every time a McDermott defense encounters a QB better than Skyler Thompson or Mason Rudolph in the playoffs, they get absolutely lit the ***** up. On aggressiveness, sure, I'll give you that, he's seemed to get a bit ballsier, at least against Miami. He gave the ball to his best player and had him win it for us. Against KC, apparently he thought we were in a Disney movie and that Damar was gonna score a touchdown on the fake and that the team was gonna carry him off the field on their shoulders as people wept in the stands. Seriously, McDermott thought our best course of action was to have Damar Hamlin run a fake punt. Don't put the ball in Josh Allen's hands, or even a player with some special talent. No, let's put it in career backup Damar Hamlin's hands cuz it woulda been such a beautiful moment. By the looks of it, Sean should have to find a new job. It's definitely shown it is too much for him to handle.

Does this team actually have the guts to move on from Tre White?
Jim replied to Jim's topic in The Stadium Wall
Does the team have the money to sit back and see what they have with him now? I don't think they do. We can't just leave things as they are and hope things are better in August. That's how you end up with more Trent Sherfield's and Deonte Harty's at skill positions. The team needs to explore every option to bring in better talent, and since we have two starting outside cornerbacks, I can't see how it'd be smart to bring back a player who was so noticeably skittish about coming back from his ACL injury, and then performed like a joke when he finally came back later that season. We can just hold onto Tre in the hope that after a tough 2024, he's gonna come out of the other end as the old version of himself in 2025. And even if that's the best case scenario, that's not close to good enough. That would basically mean we were paying this man top dollar for 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 to either sit on the bench or play like *****. Let's let him go and thank him for being a great guy. He can go be a great guy for the NY Giants as he's getting smoked by AJ Brown. We don't need him in his current state for the amount of money he costs. Or really at any cost considering the guy hardly plays, and has played like absolute ass most of the games he's been in since his injury. Sure and if he accepts a highly reduced rate that allows us to make other moves fine. But if he doesn't want to, they better be able to make that so called "tough decision" pretty easily. -
Does this team actually have the guts to move on from Tre White?
Jim replied to Jim's topic in The Stadium Wall
Seriously who gives a *****? Tre White surely don't. He's been paid handsomely to play football. And unfortunately he isn't able to play football when we need him most. Therefore, there's the door Tre. Let's use the money they'd otherwise pay him to find somebody who will be helpful next January. I don't see what him being "an outstanding representative of the team" brings to a team when opposing offenses are gaining almost 10 yards a play on them in the playoffs. -
Why? I see no reason to believe the Bills will ever win anything. We don't get the breaks that the Patriots and the Chiefs of the world get. We have the QB we've always been waiting for, and we get a coach that doesn't know that you squib kick it with 13 seconds left. We have a coach and his former defensive coordinator who didn't think after that squib kick, despite calling a timeout, that maybe it's useless to guard the sidelines when the team on offense has time outs. Maybe it's a curse, maybe our team can't hire the best cuz the team is located in sad sack Buffalo, New York. I don't know what it is. We draft James Cook in the second round, and he will drop 4 out of 5 sure TD passes. KC draft Pacheco in the seventh, he looks like he runs through a brick wall every time he gets the ball. They have Travis Kelce who can have the most pedestrian regular season, and will catch anything thrown his way in the playoffs. We have drama queen Stefon Diggs who demands the ball, but who is nowhere to be seen when crunch time comes. It's just the way it is. it isn't going to change. It is what it is. I'll be excited when we're 5 and 2 next year, then I'll be disappointed when we're 7 and 5, and then excited again when we end up with the number 3 seed, only lose to Houston in the divisional round. And I'll do it all over again, because I can't help myself. The Bills, the Lions, the Browns, etc....these teams will never win. You can feel it in your bones. We all knew at 24 to 7 in the NFC Championship game that another shoe was gonna drop and that the Lions would blow it. For all those who are so comfortable in saying Allen will get one, stop lying to yourselves. It is NEVER EVER going to happen. Things like that don't happen in Western New York. Apparently we don't deserve it. But some pricks in Missouri do.

Does this team actually have the guts to move on from Tre White?
Jim replied to Jim's topic in The Stadium Wall
Indeed there is. If my dad was Buddy Ryan or Mike Shanahan or Andy Reid or Bill Belichick I'd probably have at least an assistant coaching job. Seems that's all you need to get an assistant job in the NFL. So that'd be a start. -

I'm a bitter Bills fan. The world does have a lot of problems, but those are too big. Complaining about how my favorite team is run is easier. -
Does this team actually have the guts to move on from Tre White?
Jim replied to Jim's topic in The Stadium Wall
Here's the thing. I'm not Brandon Beane, Sean McDipshit or Terry Pegula. They can let him down easy when they cut his ass an wish him well. I'm a fan who wants to win. It seems like Tre is a wonderful young man. But guess what? He hasn't do ***** to help us win in a long time. So guess what? So long *****. See ya when you're back to "lead the charge!" -
Does this team actually have the guts to move on from Tre White?
Jim replied to Jim's topic in The Stadium Wall
The fact that we keep guys like Damar Hamlin around cuz he's a "nice story", pay jerkoffs like Dawson Knox tons and to go into a critical season with Gabe Davis as our number two receiver despite ample proof that he ain't that guy shows that a lot of this team is governed by keep "good feelings" and that they don't wanna mess with a guy with a "nice story." Tre's been such a wonderful guy and a great teammate that he needs to be kept around despite showing for two and a half years that he won't be a difference maker when it's crunch time. Either due to literally being unavailable due to injury or just straight up getting smoked by Cincinnati's receivers.- 131 replies

Bass Makes $1 Million More per Year Than Butker
Jim replied to st pete gogolak's topic in The Stadium Wall
Of course, anytime anybody is playing like ***** for Buffalo they are "hurt" (just like Diggs, Davis, Elam, etc). It's never that they might just have been playing like absolute garbage and that the team didn't do better to upgrade, its just fate that they got hurt and hey, there's nothing we can do about that, golly gee! -
It's right there in the title. The man we basically got in return for Patrick Mahomes has basically been nowhere for this team since 2021. He's due to make a ton of money in 2024 and judging by his "comeback" in 2022, it seems absolutely insane that they are gonna pay him all that money next season to fearfully rehab through November and then play like a 5th rate CB when he comes back. We also have two starting CB. Benford and Douglas. Cut Tre White's ass as soon as we can. Either that or he needs to accept a shitload less money, cuz otherwise we will just be showing that this team is not serious about winning a Super Bowl.

Bass Makes $1 Million More per Year Than Butker
Jim replied to st pete gogolak's topic in The Stadium Wall
They won't. Or in true Bills style, it'll just be for looks. Some kicker that has zero chance of beating him out, just so they can say, "see we wanted to push Tyler to be the best kicker he can be!" -
Whoopty doo about Tre White. He's the same guy who got sliced and diced in his big chance in the 2021 AFC Championship game. And honestly, all that matters is what you get done. And he hasn't done DICK for the Buffalo Bills since the 2021 season. So once again, I'm sure he's a wonderful guy, and I'm sure he's working oh-so-hard to come back "better than ever" from his latest injury. But the facts are we traded the spot for the greatest football player of our generation to get a very good cornerback whose career basically lasted from 2017 through 2021. La-dee-*****in'-dah. It's weird though. Once Reid got an all-world QB he started to win titles. Once McDipshit got an all-world QB he started to win division titles and having beautiful teary exchanges with Sal Cappaccio when he wins one of them in Miami. You woulda thought the guy won the Super Bowl the way he was babbling to homer Sal. What a joke. We need to demand more from these jokers.
-
This has got to be a joke. The man literally lost us a game. He straight up lost it. We beat the Broncos if our head coach makes sure there are 11 men on the field. That's the kinda thing that would get a coach laughed out of the room. And he did it in his seventh year. The only reason I think maybe he "learns" and makes some tough changes to his coaching is how thoroughly embarrassed he was by Ty Dunne's piece. But regardless, this is a man who prides himself on his defense. And EVERY. SINGLE. YEAR. his defense gets shredded in our elimination game. Why on earth should I expect he will get it done next year? He won't. And it'll be cuz Dorian Williams sprained his ankle. Or because Greg Rousseau had a wrist injury. Or whatever the *****. It'll just be more excuses as to why we lost 40-37 to CJ Stroud in a divisional round matchup in Orchard Park.

Why should the city’s mindset change? What have the Bills and Sabres done to make us think either will deliver a title? They might get to the very precipice of doing it, but they can’t close the deal. Explain to me why we should assume that things will ever change? Buffalo will never win a major sports title. Take that to the bank. And yes, I’m a Bills fan, but honestly it’s not by choice. If I could choose another team or just ignore football entirely, I would. Unfortunately I was born in Loserville, USA where we chant the name of our loser kicker who blew our only real chance at a championship. Lets go Buffalo! It’s our Lombardi next year! 😂

Bass Makes $1 Million More per Year Than Butker
Jim replied to st pete gogolak's topic in The Stadium Wall
I have zero true beef with Bass and would never, ever personally attack an athlete or any other person with a threat, physical or otherwise. But I do think the whole Buffalo Bills way of coddling these half-assed players cuz they are “nice guys” means we get teams full of lovely guys who suck. Also, of course I have no special insight on Bass or any other player. But I do see a player who looked worse and worse during the season, culminating with him driving a stake into the heart of our season. Why should I have any hope he’s gonna bounce back? Cuz Brandon Beane says so? So true. That’s what Buffalo is. Our guys are chokers. Bruce Smith, Jim Kelly, Marv Levy, Thurman Thomas. Now Josh Allen, Stef Diggs and Sean McDermott. I would add people like Dawson Knox or Gabe Davis to the list, but the truth is they aren’t really chokers. They are just guys who were never good enough in the first place that we convinced ourselves could be champions. -

Jim replied to st pete gogolak's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yet Harrison Butker seemed to do fine in that same stadium. And while Bass missed in the mess in Philly, Jake Elliott was nailing 50 plus yarders in the rain. Once again in Buffalo we settle for good enough and reward that instead of looking for better. Our hope for next season is literally just that, hope. There’s no reason to think this ####### is gonna be any better next year, especially after ending our season this year. But yeah sure, he’s just gonna “bounce back” just like Gabe after his “ankle injury” last year. -

Jim replied to st pete gogolak's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah but we wanna show what a great culture we have and how much we appreciate guys like Bass and of course Dawson Knox, who is getting paid like a superstar to be a backup. Then we wonder why we can’t get close to winning it all. -
Bills Open With 4th Best Odds to Win Super Bowl Next Season
Jim replied to Doc Brown's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don’t think he’s lacking the urgency at all. I just think he’s not that clutch. He was in the 13 seconds game, but otherwise at the end of the season when we really need him he’s just another classic Buffalo Bill. Amazing regular seasons, some other really nice playoff games, but when it really comes down to it he’s the guy who fumbles away wins in his own endzone, throws one way when Gabe runs the other, short throws an open Shakir, etc. He just doesn’t get it done. Another Jim Kelly. Really good, even great, but never gonna enough to get it done. -
Its Pretty Obvious why the Chiefs win every year
Jim replied to gonzo1105's topic in The Stadium Wall
Exactly. I like Ed, even though he wasn't even half as good as we needed him to be during his rookie deal. And if he wants to be considered elite, then make some *****in' plays in the playoffs, some game changing plays. Sacking Easton Stick is cute, but if he's Mr. Big Time, then its time to show us. Also, after last season when Beane said, "“I don't want to suck bad enough to get Ja'Marr Chase," it always makes me think about Ed Oliver. We sucked bad enough to have the ninth pick, and for our QB who desperately needed offensive help after having non-existent talent at the WR on the 2018 roster, we decided to give him.....Ed Oliver?!? Perhaps there wasn't enough of a playmaker at that point? Trade back! More picks to take more swings couldn't have hurt. Anyways, couldn't we have considered some kind of playmaker in the first round or two? Guess Beane and McDickhead thought Duke Williams was all we needed. And also to be fair, as a Buffalo Bill, Stef Diggs is not an elite postseason player. There are only 3 things I think of when thinking of as a Bill in the playoffs, I think of: the awesome 2-point conversion catch in KC, him yelling at Josh on the sidelines against Cincy, and him dropping an absolute dime that likely gives us the lead against the once and future champs. For all his talk, he never shows during the postseason, which is what makes his nonsense this offseason more off-putting than usual.
