    I don't know how much worse the defense can get, TBH. Little to no pash rush, edges not being set, poor tacking, poor coverage - not much positive to say about the defense at this point. Kind of a disturbing trend of collapsing, going back to the playoff game. It's a little scary to think what guys like Mahomes and Wilson will do against us.

    per the rule you quoted, the block must be initiated when the player "is moving toward or parallel to his own end line ". If that part of the equation is missing, then it's another crap call.
