Ok, explain this to me.
BR starts with "Hairston is a long and rangy cornerback prospect . . . at 6'1". But then in its own measurables BR says he's 5'11".
So . . . ?
BR is a mess 😂

The pick is whatever, nobody would have expected that, he wasn't highly ranked and was a round 2 guy. I just have to laugh at all of the guys that are like YES I LOVE THAT PICK. You guys would love anything they do. They don't have a great round 1 record. Beane is better at the mid rounds. Not sure what the deal is with that. Not expecting this kid to play at all this year
Obviously we don’t know the future but he was highly ranked. The lowest projection I saw for him was earlier than we took him

Thank goodness we paid Tre White! Lol
Can’t have too many competent corners…one cb injury pretty much torpedoed us last year

Nobody can cover for as long as it will take Bills pass rush to get there...McD and Beane never learn
No pass rush can get home quick enough if your dbs have to give fast receivers 10 yards of cushion either 🤣

Joe Burrow may disagree with you as I wouldn't consider him overly mobile granted he did rush for 200 yards last season.
He also got obliterated behind a pretty bad offensive line all year and missed the playoffs because all the talent is on the offensive side

And disappointing.
Dane being available over Elam probably would’ve flipped the outcome of the afc championship last year tbh
not a crazy exciting signing for sure but it does move the needle still

Interesting signing. I liked him coming out of Colorado but haven’t heard much about him in the NFL. He's a hybrid type player WR/RB.He looked promising his first couple years with the jags then went to Carolina and fell off the map. Pretty fun all upside signing

Well mostly because we seem to miss more than we hit. Out best corner is a late round pick and our all pro slot guy it middle. Tre White was great and Gilmore was good but that’s 8-10 years ago. That’s the problem. I’m ok with it in general we actually need it now bot usually when we do it we don’t really need to.
Isn’t the sample size of recent early round corners just one guy? Haha tough to draw conclusions from that

What’s with all these injury plagued players. It’s like Beane is trying to catch lightning in a bottle. Pretty weird since this has been the Bills number 1 problem for the past 5 years. I understand the Bosa signing, that one makes sense. I guess because they have a chance to get great production at a lower cost, but still it could backfire on him tremendously.
The bosa concern makes sense to me but I think Forrest is more ‘falling out of favor after missing some time’ than injury prone

They were pretty damn good in beating baltimore in the playoff game.
Oh yea that is true it’s def possible they turned the corner especially in bishop’s case. I think Hamlin is what he is at this point

Umm, doesn’t that sound like our existing safeties? I was hoping for more of a coverage guy, I think. 🤔
Hamlin seems very athletically limited where I’d think Forrest can be coached up. Hyde and poyer and Hamlin the last year or two were all pretty far behind what Forrest would bring in that regard
Our safeties weren’t very good in run support either lol

Can we please edit the title to "Joey Mimosa" cause this dude has a better chance of attending Sunday brunches then games. That is all.
Haha I’m torn cuz I disagree with the meaning of this post but it’s hilarious

I love Tre but he looked pretty cooked last year. Not sure if he will be better now he is two years off the injury.
He had a good game against us in the playoffs not sure how much of that was us being bad vs him being good though 😂. That pi he got hit with was pretty soft

Just quoting what I saw in the news, B word at Schefter about it.
My point was, with that rumor out there, it looks like Beane overpaid. "At face value" I mean it's right in the post.
If Bosa plays like Bosa could in the past, then it's a bargain and Beane looks like a genius. If not he's gonna get railed for paying him ~$13 mil.
Or Miami and SF tried to grab him for less than he was worth thinking they were the only teams in the running. The bills really came out of nowhere with this one…the rumor mill had him going to SF a done deal
he doesn’t have to be insanely good to be worth 12 million as a DE

How is a “rumor “ of what other teams were maybe thinking of offering him, make what we paid to get him an overpay?, you base your entire statement on a rumor…,
And the difference is only 2 million haha it’s not like we hugely outbid even the rumored offers 🤣

Rumor has it SF and Miami were in the 10 and 8 million range... so another overpay by Beane, at least at face value. If he produces Beane looks like a genius but that is one massive IF.
SF got pantsed by cheaping out honestly…they released Floyd thinking they had bosa in the bag and got outbid by a small amount.

Feels odd they did all that partly to sign an LT after trading thuney. Caliendo is pretty bad and will make things tough for Moore imo
if they kept thuney and kicked him back over to guard they probably would be back to one of the best olines in the league for a few years

Pretty sure the post you’re responding to was the classic ‘judge based on just the PFF score and not the eye test’ lol

I do think it would be, as currently situated, more than just a "dip" in talent at RB. Cook did some really impressive things last season.
I don’t think it’s as big as people are making it sound tbh…if cook was a better pass blocker maybe id be more nervous about letting him walk.hes great at what he’s good at but has a glaring weakness too
the other big money rbs are far ahead of him in that area

So who will have a bigger impact?
Bosa or Cook? Because people don't want to pay Cook close to this much money, yet they're fine with giving it to an often injured, about to 30 DE... with a whopping 13 sacks over the last 3 seasons. But yeah, great money spent!
It makes no sense.
Bosa…having Rousseau as the only pass rusher that’s a legitimate threat is a very tall order…your coverage better be real good on the back end if that’s the case which ours wasn’t
a dip in talent at RB when you’re mostly running it by committee anyway is not a huge loss

We mixed in a decent amount of man down the stretch last year if my memory serves and I doubt these people do as much research as they should lol
