Unless the next team up is the Bengals. Let's face it, the Bills match up well with the Chiefs. We are 3-3 in the last six games. The Bills, IMO, are 0-3 in the last three games against the Bengals.

People talk about huge regular season games like they mean nothing and neither team actually is giving their best effort to win 😂. Bills and chiefs are about even and the results show it..  3-3 in last six with two insanely close playoff games that could’ve easily gone either way..  I personally think the bills have the better roster full strength which has upset gonzo haha chiefs def are better coached though although Brady seemed to stump spagnuolo in the last matchup

Not disagreeing with any of this but what's missing for me is the props for the KC defense. Pretty sure they didn't give up 30 all year. Underrated part of their success this year imo.

The fact that it’s underrated somehow is a criminal indictment of football fans overall lol. They were fantastic all year but people talk about football like it’s qb vs qb and nothing else matters

Mahomes is very good but Andy Reid is a mastermind as a play caller. People complained all year about their WR core not being good enough and in the end it didn’t matter.

Thought it reared its ugly head with mvs running like 20 yards in the wrong direction but that didn’t matter either lol

He is a game wrecker. But he plays the same position as the guy who is already by far our best player up front.

We had our swing at a older closer on defense with Von. It sadly hasn't worked because of injury.

And Jones will stay in KC IMO.

We absolutely will not do it and this is in no way me thinking we will but jones is def a Swiss Army knife that can line up anywhere

Do you remember trading down with KC?

Mahomes is already a HOF QB and McD chose a CB and a first round pick instead.

Would he have developed the same with the bills though?  I don’t think we know that for sure.  Josh got straight up thrown to the wolves it’s kind of a miracle it worked out 😂

How am I lurking? I created this thread. Of course I'm going to read every post on something that I created.

Haha thought it was two different threads…that is my bad.  Still don’t see the inconsistencies at all though man.  None of those playoff teams is winning it all with Klein forced into the starting lineup and I don’t believe that’s even debatable

It has to be one or the other man. You first said that the Bills and Chiefs roster are close and that you would actually lean towards the Bills but then in this post you state that Mahomes is afforded the luxury of having a great defense and top end players (Chris Jones). I get you'll fall back on the bills injuries this year but then what are the excuses for the 2021 and 2022 seasons on why the Chiefs made it further when the Bills weren't ravaged by injuries and have a roster that you think is slightly better?

Haha why did you type all this when you already know my answer 😂. If you’re lurking all my posts I have stated multiple times I think we win fairly comfortably with one of Milano/bernard starting over aj klein.  Klein got straight up humiliated by the chiefs.  Dump aj Klein in place of Bolton on the chiefs roster and I’m not sure they make it out of the first round. He’s a practice squad level talent at this stage of his career playing one of the most important positions on the field

I have never said I’ve thought the bills were ALWAYS better than the chiefs.  Chiefs definitely had the edge the year we went to the afc championship…think it’s pretty even these days though and people are overreacting to back to back absurdly close playoff losses personally

I respect it if you disagree but i don’t think there’s any inconsistencies in my posts at all 😂

  8. Hard disagree on ‘josh has not been as clutch as mahomes’…he’s been every bit as clutch.  The defense just cannot make gamechanging plays and josh has to play a 100% perfect game to win.

mahomes was very far from perfect tonight and got the w regardless because they have a game wrecker on defense that always shows up. I don’t think mahomes has played well for anywhere close to 60 minutes in a Super Bowl and their defense/special teams always have a big impact. Josh has not had that luxury in any playoff game…

heck we would’ve lost to Indy in the first round that year we made the afc championship if Josh didn’t go full Superman.  The defense did everything they could to lose that one 😂

Not crapped on by me.  It blows my mind how many Bills fans out there think we have a better roster from top to bottom than the Chiefs do.  Makes me wonder what games these people are watching LOL

I think it’s very close honestly…both teams at full strength leans buffalo imo.  It’s certainly not top to bottom though 😂. If you give us one of Milano/bernard back and they could return any injured player to their lineup it’s a much different game

There’s just little things each game that add up like accuracy, ball placement, pocket awareness… not huge differences but enough to give Mahomes all these SB’s.

As i’ve said before i think Josh Allen is the best football player in the league.  But Mahomes is the best QB and it’s indisputable.

Mahomes left a ton of meat on the bone in this one imo…missing reads, forcing throws under pressure, bailing the pocket way too early.  Game would’ve been a blowout if he played as well in this one as your post is suggesting

I saw another forum with this. Ouch!

You got to hand it to Buffalo. Not only did we give the Chiefs the pick that got them Mahomes, the fact that we couldn't stop them with 13 seconds changed the OT rule which allowed them to win today. You can't make this stuff up

How did the new ot rule win them the game? lol sf didn’t score a td on that first drive and kc scored before time expired in ot1.

CJ is a first ballot HOFER. But cmon, let's be realistic. I've been watching football for over 50 years, and NOBODY has done what this kid has done so far. Great coach? Yes. Great surrounding cast? Yes. But he's in the conversation as the GOAT now, 6 years in. That's crazy stuff

Oh yea I’m not trying to take anything away from him…in the past he has absolutely carried the whole team on his back it’s not like he has anything to prove in that regard lol

i just meant in this particular game I don’t think he played anywhere near as well as he’s getting credit for

kind of miffs me when people talk about football like it’s qb vs qb with no regards for defensive players in general 😂. And the chiefs had a quite a few have excellent games tonight.  If that was a good game from mahomes it never would’ve never been close.

we’ll never know how the rest of the games would’ve gone but cj wiped two late wide open tds off the board in two different very close playoff games single handedly

He threw for over 300 yards, but when he HAD to make plays,  he did. Every single time. All playoffs, then tonight. That's what GOATS do

I mean this may be an agree to disagree type situation haha imo he should have HAD to make even more plays but the chiefs defense always bails them out when they make mistakes.  Comes down to how you see the game of football personally I guess

Chris jones shows up when they need a big play on the defensive side whenever they need one which took a ton of pressure off the chiefs offense all year

To me the biggest difference is the Bills outside of Allen don't have that next level of play that the playoff teams have.

Coaching is big part of it too. The way the Bills defense and offense plays works well in the regular season due to playing against mostly average teams. When they play the best teams, they don't do well.

Bills have to play more man defense in the playoffs I think…the playoff officiating is a joke and you can do pretty much whatever you want in the secondary lol we just don’t take advantage as well

I saw Purdy and the others sweating it out on that last drive thinking they could stop them. I’m thinking Purdy better get ready because they are about to rip your heart out and stomp on it. All the makings of a Bills loss we’re all way too familiar with.

They lost pretty much the same way as us with Chris jones blowing up a sure go ahead td…kind of freaky to think about lol

Well, if SF had played a clean game they win comfortably.  But the bottom line, Mahommes is the new GOAT. That's it.

I thought he was kind of bad in this one honestly 😂. Missing wide open reads all night and making tons of mistakes…showed up that last drive though for sure

he had a good season but a lot of the credit he’s getting should be going to the defense

The QB of equal caliber has been beaten by Mahomes 3 of last 4 seasons in playoffs.

You're just whistling past the graveyard man.

I think bills chiefs games playoffs or not will be a tossup for a long time…the playoff sample size is just too small to make inferences on especially with one game being ridiculously close and another being very close.  If they were whoopin us like that early afc championship every time out I’d feel more hopeless

I don't.  I just see a giant, insurmountable roadblock to the Bills ever winning a SB.

We aren't likely to get another QB as good as Allen again for many, many, many years and it's wasted with a new dynasty always winning it all.

I think this year was all Chris jones and fingers crossed he leaves…mahomes is getting more accolades than he deserves for this game/season

the dude is the best player on the field every game but people only wanna talk qbs

Who honestly can stand this anymore.  We go from Pats for 20 years no we are looking at KC for another 10.

It's like rooting for the Washington Generals if you aren't a KC fan.

I take some solace in Shanahan bumbling Super Bowls away haha

Is clock even an issue here?  I assume they need a score before the clock hits zero, right?

I dont believe they do I think they get a full drive to match the td but it sounds so crazy that im doubting myself a little 😂 niners want to preserve clock so they get a fg shot if they stop the chiefs i think
