Lamar is solid, and he is a great athlete, but he never has been, nor will he ever be the passer that JA is. That's just a fact most of the bobbleheads on TV will never admit.
Today, the Flowers fumble at the goal line killed their chances. That KC defense is playing well. I knew Lamar would have trouble. With all of the talent in the AFC, I just don't see Lamar ever getting a SB. He's not on the level of Mahomes, Allen, and Burrow.
He’s not even the runner josh is…Lamars gotta learn to just hit the hole and run straight sometimes. He cost his team quite a few first downs dancing around waiting for blocks to try to hit a chunk play
one of those plays a safety ran like 15 yards before lamar ran 4-5

That’s fine. He’s still a better offensive coordinator than Joe Brady.
Even with trying to take the most pessimistic possible outlook idk how you can say they’re not the same level at worst (for Brady)

Actually think that resting the starters Week 18… but playing first week of the playoffs is the way to go…Bills having to go and fight for the Division Week 18 … getting banged up and guys injured was a major handicap whilst the Chiefs rested up …
Yea I gotta think that game goes differently if we had just one of Bernard/milano. They absolutely victimized Klein whenever he was on the field

Imagine a world where we would rather play KC in the divisional than Houston, lol.People overreact to the previous week of football lol it’s very strange

Ravens looked like a seventh seed today.
They def lost their edge havin the bye and a layup first game…I don’t think they would’ve beat the chiefs either way though

Kelce is such an obnoxious douche bag.
Without the NFL, he’d absolutely be the too old to be there former high school athlete who hangs at the local bar and tells stories from his glory days nonstop and thinks he’s funnier than he is.
He would’ve been that if his brother didn’t bail him out in college

The real mvp is Mahommes.
He beat Allen and Lamar
Chris jones is their mvp and it’s not even close…one day they’ll give defensive players a shot at the award lol

I’ll take neither, Alex
Then you’ve got the lions winning their first Super Bowl or the last pick in the draft getting one 😂

The thing is, you know the Chiefs will sign some WRs this off-season too.
This is their down year. Yikes
I don’t buy this…if they lose Chris jones the party is over. Kelce is going to start regressing. They swung at some olinemen and missed. Not gonna be a ton of resources to sign an elite wr This isn’t a one off ‘down year’
they’re gonna be good but vulnerable for awhile

Like fumbling the ball into the end zone for a touchback?
Fact is the NFL is pretty weak right now. Most teams don’t have even a serviceable QB, let alone a great one.
Chiefs have the trifecta of top QB, top pass rusher and top coaching. Everybody else is playing catch up to get to that level.
Chris jones has been even more important than mahomes this season imo…people don’t seem to care about defense though 😂

KC just lets the other teams beat themselves, too easy for them.
They were def sweatin last week lol this game was a pretty comfy win though

Mahomes will get all the credit, but the coaching and team deserve alot of it.
Defense won that one imo…chiefs offense was bad the whole second half

Ravens made too many mistakes. And the refs on that non-call at the end...oof. I hate to say it, but the Chiefs are the new Pats.
I’d rather the chiefs get another one than Lamar getting his first before Josh imo

Just like the Patriots in their prime….the Chiefs simply do not make mistakes to beat themselves. THAT is the difference….period!
I think the difference was guys like mvs showed up in the playoffs…they still made some mistakes

What a devastating loss!
Football is weird…never felt like the ravens had a shot in this one which to me is less devastating than a close game somehow

He's also playing with house money, already being a 2-time Champ.
He's free to call the game loose.
I thought Reid was kind of bad again? Haha they did win the game though which is all that matters

Mahomes is still the best QB in this league when it matters ,,, and not really close
Mahomes really hasn’t done diddly in the second half lol. Still think the K.C. defense is the unsung hero and a bit of it is referee aided

Lamar can't hang back in the pocket all day. He needs to break one
He needs to just run for 5-7 yards whenever it’s available..he tries to turn every carry into a home run I don’t understand it

He went about 50 yards to get those 5 yards.
I don’t even think Lamar is as good a scrambler as Josh…he waits for blockers every run to try to turn it into a home run play…tacklers are closing huge gaps to keep him short of a first while he dances around
he’s cost them two fairly easy first down runs on back to back drives

Chiefs gettin away with murder in the secondary…their real mvp in the playoffs lol

Romo on it. He's waiting too long before deciding to run.
Nothing Lamar ever does is with any sort of anticipation… he doesn’t throw receivers open and he doesn’t run until he gives up on a couple reads

I am so impressed by Mike McDonald's scheme. Single handedly keeping them in the game.
Feels like they randomly just started actually calling holds on both offensive lines which has turned this into a defensive battle 😂. Guys were getting away with stuff the first few drives for both teams
this probably should’ve been a tough defensive game all the way through

Romo hyping Lamar up for going through pretty simple progressions was pretty wild lol like how bad was he before if that’s where the bar was set

I thought he coached his butt off at times…that KC game was a gem and the players pooched it with bad execution on a few of those big plays. I don’t think I’ve really seen anyone really stump a spagnuolo led chiefs defense in the playoffs like that
