‘Cost us the game’ is such a meaningless semantical argument. The offense wasn’t good and could have won the game if they played better sure; if you want to exclusively blame them you could certainly justify it. but the defense also could’ve stepped up on 1-2 more plays and bailed the offense out too. If edmunds doesn’t go down we win that game easily even with the ridiculous amount of injuries we already had on the defensive side

but how many times have they been wrong? Every week right from the opening possession you’ve got 10-20 people posting about how we’re going to lose and how we should fire everyone 😂 cowboys are a lot healthier than us on the defensive side…I think we would’ve had a lot closer to this result if we didn’t lose edmunds and had one or two starters back And the cowboys looked bad against a packers team that we had beat by halftime. So you can’t really play that game

I think our team was a tier below where we are now when we played all those away playoff games… assuming we get some defensive players back from injuries. it’s not like we had a team that should’ve won and lost just because they were in the road in most of those games

A lot of people seem like they’re just trying to be dissenters and sometimes it pays off and the bills blow the game. A lot of times they’re wrong though lol

This seems to be the context people are missing… great teams play close games against not so good teams constantly. browns have some talent too that definitely could and did test us.

They don’t look unbeatable to me by any means…refs snuck them past the titans starting one of the worst qbs of all time….chargers were handling them before throwing a pick six in the end zone…we also beat them as well a great team no doubt but certainly not invincible

Teams are literally just designing their whole offense around picking on edmunds/milano’s replacement when one of them is injured so I think your first point is the understatement of the century 😂 I’m more concerned about the offense…I think the defense is going to be good if they can get a little healthier and great if they can get substantially healthier. same as last year though the offensive line really is struggling at the midway point…they were able to turn it around last season but we’ll see about this year. there really is no flawless team that looks Super Bowl caliber right now to me people seem to be sleeping on the browns with regards to how much us beating them ‘matters’. They are great in the trenches on both sides of the ball

You wanted them to send more guys who wouldn’t get home and give our banged up secondary and one terrible linebacker even less help in coverage? Lol I know the 2 deep looks are frustrating but we’ve been pretty bare bones with injuries all over the field on defense

Browns offensive line is great when they’re not just allowed to hold all game(which they were). We’ve also been missing Rousseau for a few weeks who has been fantastic this year

Team couldn’t practice all week and had to travel to a neutral site last minute to play a browns team that’s a pretty tough matchup for us missing 4-5 good defensive players and with a qb that’s likely playing through an elbow injury I think everyone is underselling how much adversity that is…a slow first half is more than expected That easily could’ve been a loss for any team no matter how good they are

Beat the browns and the refs pretty comfortably after not being able to practice and having to travel to a neutral site last second missing 4 or 5 all star caliber players on defense and a qb likely playing through an elbow injury. Idk if the refs were trying to make up for almost gifting us a game against Minnesota but my goodness. A better game from the refs and that is an absolute blowout

jets wouldn’t have cracked double digits against us if we didn’t have absolute clowns starting at lb due to injury. Our injury situation on defense has been insane not sure why no one brings up missing Rousseau either …he has been an animal this year. A handful of other great players missing also

Milano might be the best lb in football this year.. lb depth is a huge issue though…the defense is exponentially worse when one of edmunds/Milano is out. Dodson and Bernard have been terrible some of it was the browns stout oline givin us issues today (they got away with a ton of holds also).

Just the jets d really…NE defense has 8 points right now. They’re good in points against right now but that’s it…if they give up a late td they’re gonna tumble

Defense seems pretty darn good at stopping sneaks at least…can’t do anything else but that’s something 😂

He’s learning an offense with completely different terminology. Someone like Jeff Wilson got traded from a west coast offense to a west coast offense so it’s not a big shift

Lamar not looking great against the panthers either…bills and ravens seem tragically linked this year. Tons of defensive injuries and a couple embarrassing blown leads
