  1. I think they were caught off guard and probably dodged a small bullet honestly lol. They were definitely feeling confident about stopping three telegraphed runs and getting the ball back in fg range knowing Martin isn’t a good punter and josh had a few single coverage looks that he missed. I still think it was wrong but it wasn’t godawful like some are making it sound. if the bills knew Martin was gonna actually boot one there they absolutely run three straight times. Three straight runs and I think you’re lookin at a Texans drive start in fairbairn fg range much more often than not though
  2. That could be…parity seems to be doing its job even more than usual this year That second paragraph is what always makes me chuckle in the gameday threads lol. They just keep saying ‘the bills won’t win the superbowl’ when we win which is not a particularly bold statement for any team in the league 😂. When we lose it’s ’see I told you so’ despite them saying we are going to lose countless games that we’ve won.
  3. People can’t handle the emotions of watching their own team haha happens every year
  4. I really don’t think we’ve even played a flat out bad team lol. Jags even have been competitive but coming up short
  5. I mean he’s getting dropped in coverage probably because he’s Mack hollins 🤣. Don’t think davante Adams has that happen
  6. Stroud does boneheaded stuff in close games whenever I watch…idk if it’s me or what 😂 not sure how much of that was luck lol
  7. Spencer brown was absolutely despised on here Terrell Bernard too for sure. There’s really a lot of people calling all our picks busts at various times on here 🤣 so nearly any good draft pick you could say it about haha
  8. I think people still have this perception that we’re drafting early/mid 1st round for some reason and your Coleman big no comment definitely gives me that vibe. Malik Nabers is not the bar for comparison when you’re drafting in the late first which I’ve seen some people in here trying to argue lol
  9. Benford is great, Douglas was great but has had a slower start to this year. Carter is lookin like a hit on a draft pick while we’re making snap judgements on drafted players way too early…or can only ‘bust’ be assigned early 🤣
  10. Are you referring to the chiefs? They had two timeouts and used them both on that 13 seconds drive lol my goodness edit: they actually had all 3 so 33% funnier haha forgot they used one before the fg
  11. Haha it’s unbelievable posters want trubisky to come in cold and run a naked bootleg thinking it can’t do any worse than a gain of 1 the way this game was going 🤣. I’m not defending anybody, there’s plenty of valid criticisms to be made which is why I am always stunned by the ridiculous things y’all come up with lol people were saying josh shouldn’t have attempted a throw to comically wide open Mack hollins early in the game. People thought the bills should use a timeout on the off chance Josh can clear protocol on the next play. You shouldn’t need to reach for BS like this with so many valid criticisms on the table
  12. lol I wouldn’t expect the incredibly biased idiots from barstool to understand the reasons why it wasn’t that ridiculous
  13. You don’t think trubisky could get sacked on a play like that? Haha this is what is so funny about this board…your way probably amounts to the same outcome at best or something even worse but we don’t get to criticize it because it never happened. teams don’t invest heavily in backup qbs now because the gap between a good starter and a good second stringer is so big to begin with
  14. This board is unhinged haha which is funny to me because there’s so many valid criticisms and people are still saying ridiculous things. Blowing a timeout to see if josh will maybe make it back for the next play is idiotic. Some guys are in the protocol for multiple series or the rest of the game even. Of course these genius armchair coaches get to see Josh come back the next play and say ‘why didn’t they just call timeout’ 😂 being an amateur coach is really easy when you get to watch what happens and criticize decisions based on the outcome lol
  15. Idk y’all whined about the trade down with the chiefs and Dewayne Carter looks very good. Coleman seems like he’s got promise too there’s a pretty good track record of everyone giving up on picks far too early on this board then they turn into good players
  16. Daboll had these kinds of games with more wr talent pretty often 😂
  17. Not letting trubisky throw the ball behind an offensive line playing poorly is a travesty? If trubisky is sacked even if you know Josh is coming back in the next play you’re way behind the sticks. This place is wild after a loss 🤣
  18. Can josh even throw it to a big name wr if we bring one in, etc. no accuracy over 20 yards. He def could work on his aired out deep balls but the dude stripes throws in the 20,30 yard range all the time he’s had a few tough games but your post went too far imo
  19. I am almost positive they didn’t trust Martin at all there and are not gonna walk into a press conference and throw the punter under the bus. I honestly was surprised we held them to a 59 yarder and they didn’t start their drive on like the 35 😂
  20. Haha this board is so funny. Like I agree he was bad this game but this post is full of massive exaggerations and I disagree with it but I will then be labeled as blindly defending Josh 🤣
  21. What did you see in the second half that is giving you confidence we were ripping off a 5-7 yard run when Houston was trying to go out and stuff three runs to win the game in an obvious running situation? everyone complaining about stuffed first down runs claiming we would’ve ripped off a decent run to close out regulation are giving me a needed chuckle 😂 I don’t think it was ‘correct’ by any means but it wasn’t torch and pitchforks bad is what I’m saying. And obviously they’re not gonna come out in a press conference and be like ‘yea our punter sucks so we had to do something that looks stupid’ lol lets say we gained 3 yards total on 3 straight runs which I think is more than fair, I think 70-80% of the time Houston is starting in fg range after the punt
  22. 2 seconds was only the difference because Martin hit an unrealistically good punt in that situation for how his career has been tracking…there’s no way anyone was expecting that lol heck it might’ve made no difference…he might’ve hit from 64. The only way you ensure there isn’t a high probability you lose in regulation is picking up the first it really wasn’t that outrageous of a decision now that the adrenaline has worn off. It wasn’t good by any means but I don’t think it was egregiously bad your premise seems to be predicated on the idea that the Texans were playing some kind of prevent defense and it didn’t look that way at all to me. They knew if they stuffed three runs they were probably going to win and even if the bills hit a deep shot they likely weren’t going to have much of a shot at a fg I’m thinking the blowback would be even worse if we ran three times, punted, and the Texans hit a fg to win it
  23. You didn’t read that sentence properly lol I’m saying the notion that three straight runs would’ve resulted in a first is absurdly unlikely in that situation.
  24. Yea I get people being upset but that was a huge reach haha. Safety is way more likely than first down if you run three times there
  25. I have never seen a team take the football first after winning the toss in years because everyone likes to double dip…that’s like him saying ‘we like to win’ and complaining because teams now know you’re trying to win 😂
