  1. If he is released, I could see it happen - I'm sure Jauron knows him as well as anyone else out there...
  2. A buddy and I will be making the trip up to WNY for the Bills/Chargers game in Dec. and the preparations have begun. He and I, along with a few other buddies, first visited WNY in 2001 for the Bills/Bengals game and spent considerable time (we were all 20-21) in Niagara Falls, ONT, and we decided that we definitely want to do at least one night there. Originally, we were planning on driving up Saturday, staying in Hamburg at one of the regular spots, tailgating early Sunday, going to the game, then heading to NF to check into a hotel there. Well, after some quick searching online, we found that we can save a bunch of money ~$100 (better spent at the casino and/or Sundowner) if we stay in NF both nights. Anyone here have any experience at the Oakes Hotel Overlooking The Falls? Keep in mind that we're two 25 year old bachelors, so the view isn't really important, and the quality of the hotel isn't way up there either, but we don't really want to stay in a total shithole and want to be relatively close to the night life. Also, when is the supposed deadline for needing a passport to cross the border? I still don't have one, but have plenty of time to get one if its necessary. Any input would be appreciated.
  3. Even in the 1920's, there were good ol' boys with rifles. You can attack our statues, but god damnit, if I see your ass coming up my street, I'll be firing from the attic window. Never underestimate the 2nd ammendment.
  4. Doooooooooooooooomed Thanks for making my day
  5. awww...come on, i was expecting some sort of reply
  6. UDONKEY - 1 general spot (if possible, near the road for a relatively easy exit - we'll be making the trip back immediately after the game)
  7. I wouldn't necessarily say that - theres A LOT of pressure coming from the right side and he got blindsided on those fumbles
  8. Perfectly thrown pass to the corner of the endzone
  9. Looked to me like Baker, not Clements
  10. I live in Cincinnati, thus live local TV. Reed has dropped 1 or 2, but then again, JP has thrown a few bounce passes that hit the dirt before they reach the WR. It is raining at the stadium - seems to have calmed down a bit, but it was quite wet for a solid 10 minutes or so.
  11. And I'm liking what I see - O-line giving JP plenty of time to throw (despite what the douchebag Bengals announcers are saying) JP's thrown some great passes (a few crappy ones and a few drops, as usual) Willis is finding holes and finally got to break a long one Defense has slowed down a fairly potent offense (albeit, lacking Palmer and the starting OTs) Definite offensive improvement versus last week. Bring in Kelly so that JP can further prove that he's the starter.
  12. Could be a chance for Schobel and Denney to shine - both starting OTs for the Bengals are out tongiht, with Schobel lining up against a rookie.
  13. I'll be sporting my Losman jersey this evening...it'll be Dell blue until then though.
  14. I'm expecting much worse when I travel to Chicago this year....I'm in the 300 level in the endzone, so I'm sure I'll be meeting Mr. Karma for any naughty words I've ever yelled at an opposing fan.
  15. I heard it on the replay - never heard that guy talk before, he sounds a lot like Beetlejuice.
  16. <artie lange> WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh....</artie lange>
  17. Not this guy...I'm a fan of the ASSH0LE chant...during the opener last year, some clown sat in the section over with a Dolphins jersey. Gotta hand it to him, he had some balls to wear that into enemy territory. He left with nothing more than his tail between his legs...
  18. Probably just on the NFL network replay - fortunately (if you look at it that way), I live in cincy, so we'll have it on live local broadcast this time around. I'll record it, but I can't promise that means I'll be able to share - I recorded the Bills/Panthers game, and after editing out commercials, its still a 7.5GB file.
  19. Hah...#5 is typical...if not Moss, I see a lot of Favres and Ricky Williams (don't worry, we give them hell). Hell, despite my threats of violence, my bro-in-law wore his Tom Brady jersey to the Bills/Packers preseason game last year...fag. Thanks for doing your part - I've seen no less than 10 Bengals jerseys ALREADY today, and its pissing me off. I might have to burn an effigy on Friday night.
  20. The people in my section will most likely be: a.) too drunk b.) trying to start a fight c.) trying to start the wave d.) all of the above
  21. Yeah, i noticed that after I posted - didn't realize there were WR positions listed on both side of the depth chart until i went back and looked.
  22. Thats probably the coolest thing I've ever seen on BB.com Glad to see that Josh Reed isn't going to play if he can't manage to catch the ball. Now, wtf do we do with his contract now that he's re-signed
  23. I believe that primetime games aren't affected by the blackout rule.
  24. Listen, I know that its preseason. I know that the game supposedly means nothing. Regardless, I've got a vested interest in this game, as always when we play against the Bungles. While you're at the game think of me...I'll be in a bar (most likely BW3s) surrounded by these fickle fans, most of whom 3 years ago couldn't tell you more than 3 players on the team, now all decked out in their Johnson/Palmer jerseys. While I've got the clear advantage - 8 straight regular season victories, dating back to 1989 - another victory will further add fuel to my fire when I attempt to tear these !@#$s apart. Be loud when our boys are on D! If it weren't for $3/gallon gas, I'd be at the game this weekend, but it makes more sense to me to budget for the trips to games that will actually mean something.
