  1. The goal or the remainder of this season is to not get Allen or Cook killed. Sadly that needs to be the prime objective. The next regime needs those guys.
  2. It must be some sort of season long rope-a-dope strategy
  3. drink a shot for every behind the LOS pass. we will all be dead by the end of the game
  4. Bears are now the #1 seed in the NFC
  5. The odd thing is that the system is so stale, that guys from years ago can step right in. And its also odd we can't teach new guys, but much of the league seems to have the defense completely figured out.
  6. Allen is not floundering. Caleb and Nix will never be great. Maye maybe joining Allen, Burrors and Mahomes as the top tier.
  7. Pittsburg has the number 31 ranked pass defense. Obviously we want to suprise them with our running attack.
  8. We are getting closer and closer to the AJ Klein signing
  9. Ben Johnson is pretty new and has new ideas. Nine years ago Sean McDermott was new and had new ideas. New ideas, if they are good, have a big advantage because teams haven't adjusted to them. When a coach sticks with the new idea until they become old ideas that teams have figured out then that coach is not as good as he once was. In the case of the Bills the defensive scheme seems like an antique. I think the Ravens face the same problem with Harbaugh. And the Steelers with Tomlin. All of these coaches are past their peaks.
  10. Rams losing in the playoffs is different than the Bills losing in the playoffs, because they don't have the "process".
  11. It seems like it is the head coaches job to align the units. Anyone can say " you score a td" "you get a three and out" "pin them inside the 10" "don't miss the fg" I see all of the "complementary failures" to be head coaching failures. McDermott thinks he calls a perfect game, and everything is an execution problem. Guy will will never be a closer.
  12. So your saying its one off his passive aggressive ways of blaming others.
  13. The saddest day will the day the thread “Playoff games, no Bills Stuff”
  14. McDermott is far from being a boomer
  15. This much is clear. That is why the original question is what does this coach mean when he is talking about it.
  16. Daboll to the Eagles
  17. The Bills schemes are pretty complicated. How long witll it take Cooks to learn the playbook?
  18. I think most fans understand the offense has been mismanaged for several years.
  19. Do you mean the team that made it to the Super Bowl four times in a row. I am not sure nine years of no super bowls is better. Maybe that is just me.

  21. I blundered at first. but then corrected it. I was helped out by a grammar nazi.
  22. fixed. Is there an official nazi grammar salute (although this more of a spelling nazi incident)
  23. I generally understand the concept of complimentary football, trying to harmonize offense , defense and special teams strategizes to create synergies greater than the sum of the parts. My personal observation is we try to manage the offensive cadence to compensate for problems on the defensive side of the ball, in a way that meaningfully reduces the sum of the parts. But my question is what does the coach really mean when he says "we need to play complimentary football". Is he saying 1) as head coach, I am not doing a good job of getting the units working together or 2) the units are not properly executing my complimentary game plan or 3) something else ?
  24. If Rodgers play's how do you compare him to Mills Davis?
