  1. Pain.
  2. As it stands right now we’d be playing the Pats in the first round lol.
  3. Yup. Getting one makes me not give a ***** what we do for a very long time.
  4. I said in another comment that this happening would genuinely have deep repercussions for the Bills. I think it would destroy everyone on the current roster and we’d absolutely have to replace the coach and front office. Basically an extinction level event.
  5. They basically asked if Keon was doing enough or whatever the question was. He paused. Looked like he knew he had to be really careful with what he was gonna say and then said “yeah he got one (a touchdown) today.” Which obviously doesn’t seem like a sincere answer but Josh isn’t gonna throw Keon under the bus.
  6. Honestly not sure I've ever seen Josh this deflated.
  7. Not sure they need to learn much. The just need to not suck ass.
  8. Yeah I refuse to believe that none of these guys could help us. We’ve gotta do something.
  9. Is there genuinely no free agent WR better than what we’re working with right now?
  10. Yeah. Defensive injuries especially matter a lot less when you have an offense putting up 30 points. If not, well. We saw that today.
  11. What do you expect? Allen knows better than anyone the reality of the situation. I'm sure early in the season he had hope that things would somehow gel and it would work out, or god forbid we'd bring in actual talent. That clearly hasn't been the case, and the crazy thing is, there are numerous free agent WRs who are markedly better than what we are working with, and it's a crime we haven't brought anyone in, and if we still don't after this week, then I really don't understand football. The problem is two fold. Allen's weapons are limited so the passing attack or downfield whatever you want to call it is essentially non existent. Not only does this suck on its own, but it pretty much allows the defense to limit everything else you try to do to compensate. I'm tired of people showing the occasional downfield catch as proof that we do indeed have a legit passing game. We don't. Statistically speaking, any QB will make a downfield throw to somebody here and there. That's not enough. There's no consistency. The second problem, which is becoming just as much of a problem if not a larger problem then that, is again, JOSH KNOWS THIS. It's in his head. He's thinking about it all week at practice. He's looking at the gameplan and just thinking oh jesus christ here we go again. And then when he hits the field and is once again hit by the train of reality that is the fact he has nobody to throw the ball to, it's over. It's in his brain and it's under his skin. It then impacts every other aspect of his game. He knows it's on him to make something happen. It's hero ball. It's reckless decisions praying that it works because doing things by the numbers just isn't an option anymore. That turns into interceptions. That turns into fumbles. That turns into the game we saw today. There are 2 possible solutions. Get rid of Brady and come up with some brilliant offensive scheme, or bring in new players. That's it. That's all there is. If nothing changes, expect Josh to continue to regress toward the mean, and kiss our season and the playoffs goodbye.
  12. To become a god amongst men and win us a Super Bowl of course. Oh and also probably a record breaking coaching contract.
  13. It might not be likely, but I don't think it's as far fetched as you apparently believe. They are definitely not 100% safe, especially dependent on how the year shakes out.
  14. Right, the problem is that this rarely happens. Statistically it will happen at times, yes, but not enough for us to succeed and plan a proper passing attack. That's kinda the whole point.
  15. A mid level QB with above average receivers would probably have us undefeated right now, so yeah. Not looking too hot.
  16. We have got to get it together for no reason other than we cannot allow the Pats to turn into what they once were in any shape or form. That will be so much worse than us just sucking independently.
  17. As much as a doomer I can be I really, really hope that isn't how this shakes out. That's the kind of thing that wrecks a franchise. Not sure we'd recover from screwing up so badly, allowing the Pats to go all the way, even if they lose, and then we bounce back and remain true contenders. We really need to find some way to be in the mix for the division in the final weeks or I think we're possibly looking at a truly bleak situation going forward.
  18. I think Pegula cares a lot more about the Bills than the Sabres, but unfortunately there are very few moves he can make this year. We really, really should have overpaid with draft picks for some guys at the deadline, and probably even before the deadline. Unless things turn around this year and we somehow find a way to make all the pieces fit, I'm afraid next year will be genuinely bleak. If we miss the playoffs this year, the wheels come off entirely.
  19. Fire Brady. Sign Gabe Davis. Sign OBJ. Pray.
  20. If we'd gotten Metcalf I honestly think we'd be undefeated right now. If this season doesn't end with a Super Bowl appearance, it's gonna haunt me.
