This was actually a good game for 3 quarters. Outscored 33-0 in the 4th. I don't think I have ever seen a quarter go that bad or good depending on who's POV you look at it from.
The two toughest games left for the Bills are the Jets and Bengals. The Jets match up well with us. They are fighting for their playoff lives. This Sunday will be a very physical game against them. I expect the Bills to win a close one. The Bengals are really good and it's a road game. If the Bills win those two games, then I see them running the table. Miami will be exposed as an overrated team and that started yesterday. The Bears and Pats aren't good.
I live 20 minutes from MetLife. Many of my family, friends, and co-workers are Jets fans. When the Bills lost to them, I had to listen to their crap. Hopefully that won't be the case this time.
The Jets have a good defense. Their offense has been better with White. They really should have won yesterday but thankfully they didn't. I would take the Jets and the points. The Bills should win but the Jets will give them a game. I am going to say it will be something like 23-20 Bills.
JMHO but I don't want OBJ here on a multi-year deal. Injuries plus he is a bit of diva. If the Bills do sign him, I hope for the rest of this year only.
I was thinking that as well. The trust with Wilson and his teammates may be too far gone to repair. He was the #2 pick for them and the QB they are supposedly building around. Now he is inactive for a 2nd straight week behind Flacco. That is not a good for Wilson at all.
Didn't want to start a thread but Wilson is inactive for a 2nd straight week. Flacco to be the backup when the Jets play the Vikings. Wilson is toast in NY.
(7) Rich Cimini on Twitter: "No surprise here: Joe Flacco will be the QB2 again this week, per Saleh. Zach Wilson will be inactive again. #Jets" / Twitter
This was the first time in a while they looked good. But in a 17-game season you will always have ups and downs. Hopefully they can build momentum now as the next 2 weeks are really huge. Beat the Jets and Fins and that will give them control of the AFCE.
One thing about rookies is sometimes they tend to "hit a wall" around this time of year. The NFL is a longer season then CFB so maybe they were giving Elam a rest considering who they have playing in the secondary now. Otherwise, I also don't get why he was a healthy scratch.
He is one of the better CFB announcers. He knows the game so no surprise he is doing well at the NFL level. There are some rule differences between college and pro, but the game is the same except OT. CFB OT is dumb IMHO.
Add the Vikings to your list as well. Pats lose last night. Hopefully the Dolphins, Jets, and Chiefs lose this Sunday. That would make for the perfect football weekend. I hope the Bills are ready for the "legendary" Mike White in 10 days
