  1. Help can come in many ways. If you wanna play ball control-style with Josh, you better be able to win going away if the offense scores 27+. What we can’t do, imo, is expect Josh to throw to a gaggle of third and fourth options AND need 30+ to win playoff games. It’s a recipe for….losing too early in the playoffs every year. Like we have. Either give Josh the help around to be a light show when they need to be or perform so Josh doesn’t need to be in a light show for 4 Q’s. Ideally, do both, but we have to pick one. I believe, in my heart, if the Bills had BTJ, we would have been playing in the Super Bowl tonight. I believe, in my heart, if Belichick was designing our defensive gameplan in the AFCCG, we would have been playing in the Super Bowl tonight. This hybrid system of “Josh cobbles together a good offense out of wet newspaper and the defense forces 2 punts through 2 playoff games,” is what I cannot abide. Honestly.
  2. For sure. When it’s all said and done, this is 2 (and counting?) complete SB blowouts on Mahomes’ resume. I think 1 blowout was enough to wave away, but I think the GOAT debate is now over. Brady NEVER had one SB like this, let alone two. He had disappointing performances and bus riding performances. But never was outclassed from the jump. If the Eagles won by a FG, I think Mahomes had a path for it. But this is gonna hurt him in that arena.
  3. That tweet is inaccurate. Mahomes in 5 SB’s 10 TD’s, 7 INT’s.
  4. If Josh’s #1 option with the ball to win the game is Mack Hollins, I will say exactly what I said the last few years. Give this man some help.
  5. Yes, the Bills would have absolutely given the Eagles a better game. If the Chiefs had Josh Allen, they would have given them a better game. There is no QB better at playing with a completely useless OL than Josh. IMO.
  6. So 2 more 3 point losses to KC in the playoffs and we are gonna still gonna do McD’s last ride in 2027? Shoot me now lol
  7. FWIW, I think Josh has done a very good job improving at the cognitive level of the game. it hasn’t been linear or perfect, but 2024 Josh Allen playing on the 2020 team may have passed for 5000 yards and 50 TD’s and won the Super Bowl. I don’t think it’s his greatest skill. But I also don’t think it needs to be.
  8. Rob Johnson was an elite collegiate bowler.
  9. THREE YEARS? Josh Allen is gonna be 29 next year. That would put him at 32 years old, with a new HC, trying to make his first Super Bowl. For the record, Drew Brees made one SB, at 30. And that was it for him.
  10. I suppose they can. the Eagles cap situation is so confusing to me. They actually have a fair amount of cap space, they are doing some high level Saints voodoo over there.
  11. Hand up, I thought Sirianni was dead meat. Mostly because he wasn’t allowed to pick his OC and DC which is borderline unheard of. I think Nick would’ve been fired if they lost to the Rams and now is safe for the foreseeable future. The NFL rules lol. Yeah that was rough, but you can also compare the Eagles # of playoff wins to the Vikings since that.
  12. ? Josh Sweat is their best EDGE and Baun was an All Pro at ILB.
  13. I hope im not alone when I say I’m confused here
  14. I know it’s meaningless stat padding. But watching Mahomes and Worthy working on their Tyreek impression is annoying.
  15. Super Bowl Champion Kenny Pickett.
  16. Oh I don’t think they would have. It takes a village. I’m not sure the Eagles would be doing this with a washed Bradberry out there in coverage either, Vic or no.
  17. Vic deserves lots of credit but they also made a conscious effort to revamp that defense. Baun, Mitchell, DeJean, CGJ all massive additions. Their back 7 was their #1 problem last year and they infused a lot of talent
  18. How bout the Philly staff plucking Zack Baun out of FA and turning him into an All-Pro? I think there’s an element to luck with all of this. Philly doubled down on the Georgia boys. There was a risk that Davis and Carter were troublemakers over realizing their talent. But it paid off.
  19. I just want him to know I’m not hijacking the thread! I’m trying to talk Philly vs KC and their talent difference lol
  20. So I guess I’ll ask again. Where do you think the Chiefs have a talent advantage? Here’s my list. QB HC Slot CB I give IOL an advantage to Philly because Thuney is playing LT lol Doesn't mean the Eagles could have never lost because better coach and better QB is the ONLY combo that can give you a really good chance every week to beat better opponents elsewhere. But KC is getting blown off the ball because the Eagles better players are flat out outplaying them.
  21. That’s obvious. The fourth best outside linebacker is still better than the 12th. It doesn’t matter they are both better than me lol
  22. Where do the Chiefs have a talent advantage vs the Eagles right now?
  23. That’s the point. Hitting a lot of singles and doubles means you either lose the player to get overpaid or you overpay them yourself and that damages your cap. we would have been better off with Tremaine being a first team All-Pro and Greg a bust or vice versa than both being good but not good enough guys. Stars win football games. Fringe starters don’t matter as much. We could have been IN THIS GAME with another dominant DL guy AND Hamlin starting, even though Hamlin is a future career backup.
