Wide Receiver Train Full Speed Ahead- CHOO CHOO!

Trade the whole draft and Kincaid for DK + Garrett and go win it all. -
FINAL v3.0 now LIVE on p.15 - Gunner's 2025 Mock Draft

Bills related - like the picks. UnBills related, I think Sawyer is a classic late riser that ends up being picked late 20’s or 30s. Like a TJ Watt pick. -
Xavier Worthy: So far, not much more than a gadget guy
FireChans replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
Our QB having the ball in his hands with 3 minutes left down 3 is a situation I would take 10/10 playing any opponent anywhere. We should have the players to support that. Our defense on the field facing Lamar/Burrow/Mahomes with the ball in their hands up 3 with 3 minutes left is a situation I would not take 10/10 times. The reason we lost is because on the biggest play of the game, Josh Allen made a heroic throw that hit a receiving option in his hands, and was incomplete: That’s why we need to upgrade the offense. Because when Josh has the ball with 3 minutes left, we should score. -

Counterpoint: two years in a row Josh Allen had the ball in his hand with 3 min left down 3 vs the Chiefs and scored 0 points. Also very odd point to reference our #1 offense and then reference all the top 10 offenses that didn’t win Superbowls. Maybe our offense was too good to win this year? -
The Chiefs are always one step ahead of the Bills...
FireChans replied to Awwufelloff's topic in The Stadium Wall
Taron. But that’s it. How is way early to tell on Worthy? He sent us home in the AFCCG with over 100 yards from scrimmage, 1 TD and led their team in catches. Coleman had 1 catch for 12 yards on 4 targets. That happened. It’s not too early to tell what will happen. It’s already happened. -
Ken Dorsey was Josh Allen’s OC pick

He sure made a difference last night leading their team in catches and yards from scrimmage and having their only receiving TD. our guy had 1 catch and 12 yards. -

The worst of these with hindsight is Mahomes but it’s the most defensible. McDuffie v Elam sucks but we just got outfoxed at a position of need. Giving the Chiefs Worthy is easily the most indefensible. And thus Worthy dropping a hundo on our heads in the AFCCG while Keon Coleman run blocks on passing downs is a sick form of poetic justice for Beane and co. An egregious error. And unfortunately utterly predictable. -
Your expectations were that the Bills got better in 2024 and that the national media was dead wrong on Buffalo.

Some thoughts on why we can't get over the hump
FireChans replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yep. Why does anyone think any Bills player or coach is going to listen to McD’s messaging next year prepping for the Chiefs in the AFCCG or divisional round and truly believe, in their heart of hearts, that they can win? The Pats won games against the Bills for years before they ever played a down. The Chiefs do the same. they all know how it’s gonna go. in the next 8 years, what is more likely? The Bills are 0-8 against the Chiefs in the playoffs or the Bills are 4-4 against the Chiefs in the playoffs. We all know the answer. -
I would trade an entire draft class for Garrett and Metcalf, fill the rest of the roster in with FA filler, and take my chances.
-
We could see if they’d take McD and Beane for a third rounder
-
Who are the young and talented players on this roster?
-
The play is certainly a microcosm of the entire org and Josh. Blocking breaks down immediately. 2nd round pick on the OL blocks air. Josh makes a 1 in a million throw with 3 defenders on him. Hits our first round pick in the hands and drops it. Story of the last 5 years of Bills football. Sad.

Why moving on from McDermott is tough due to logistics
FireChans replied to iccrewman112's topic in The Stadium Wall
Our QB was throwing to Mack Hollins, a second round pick who seems to only want to play Patty cake with CB’s, a TE with no hands, and a good slot guy. Mahomes was throwing to a future HoF TE, a first round pick speedster who had over a hundred, Deandre Hopkins and another former first round pick speedster who has been productive in the past. Josh Allen has NEVER stepped on that field without a disadvantage at weapons, defense, and coaching. NEVER. And he drags us nearly across the finish line every time. Get Him Some Help -
If our culture isn’t strong enough to handle crazy but talented player, what is the point of the culture? Give me a few more ballers who are nuts and a few less choir boys who suck.

I think Quintin Morris catches it. I really do.

They lose one of the biggest games in franchise history every year

If Allen asks for a new staff he should get it.

Worse than 0/4? -
The Knox contract looks better already. He may have stone hands but he’s not public enemy #1 in that room anymore.
-
He’s been right for about 3 years now. It doesn’t matter because McD and Beane come from the Carolina school of drafting crummy big slow WR’s every 4 years and drafting 11 DL guys.
-
At what point do we start blaming Beane ?
FireChans replied to TrentEdwardsCheckDownOn4th's topic in The Stadium Wall
McDermott ran the 2017 draft with Whaley’s board. Brandon Beane worked in the Carolina FO during the 2017 draft. This is all known and ancient history. Its also not a coincidence that the 2017 draft is probably the second best draft in this era, only coming in second to 2018 because of Josh. -

To me, it’s very simple. How many teams in the NFL would you swap rosters with? Take Josh Allen out. 2024 Giants - yes. They were a 3-14 team 2024 Raiders - yes. 4-13 team 2024 Titans - no. 3-14 team 2024 Browns - yes. 3-14 team 2024 Pats - no. 4-13 team. 3 of the 5 teams picking in the top 5 have way more non-QB talent that we do. This roster stinks.
