Maybe they could hire an independent third party to evaluate the case and determine a suspension period. The NFL doesn’t employ Deshaun Watson, the Browns do and they have 200 million reasons to NOT fire him.

No he can try, which will be disputed and result in Watson playing week one, and will lose. Which is why he is not. He does NOT get final say on indefinite suspensions lmao. We have seen this play out before.

Yes, now the people who HATED Goodell being the judge, jury and executioner are CLAMORING for Goodell to override his independent arbitrator to be the judge, jury and executioner. It’s better than Mike Florio’s birthday. The NFL is an awesome case study of a judicial system sustained purely via outrage and public opinion.
