Wow, a team goes down after...a FB retires?  What's the status of their long snapper though?  Ans what happens when they retire their fax machines and cordless phones??

Mr. Weo .. a little weaker means "by a small amount". He was a good FB, if you disagree with that, well that is your opinion and you are entitled to it, but if as many believe he was a strong blocker and now they will have a lesser blocker .. well then they are a little weaker.

As for their cordless phone I suppose they may be weaker if they have been using it to listen in to other team's phone calls (they are crafty).

  2. The interesting observation from the article below is "However, with continued uncertainty about the future and when life will return to normal, there remains a possibility that training camps could be altered, shortened or even scrapped ahead of the 2020 NFL campaign.

That would limit the amount of time teams have to work with their own players, and on gameplans for their opponents, which Fiedler feels would benefit quarterbacks who tend to go off script like Allen."

I have heard people discuss the advantage of having a stable coaching staff, but not the fact that people will have less time to be prepared for playmakers. This would also bide well for Lamar Jackson.

Not too peeved about the chart either but people aren't interpreting anything the chart doesn't blatantly say. Return on Investment--> fund lifestyle. It's a stupid slide to show to your employees.

    So many things here:

    1) Pegula Family could quite literally mean the Pegula family of businesses or We as a company are a family and these are our goals.

    2) Let's say they are talking about their family .. now flip it on to you .. your last name is Zevon... how would the Zevon family goals be different. 1) be successful - check; 2) Ensure for the generations that come after you; 3) Fund any endeavors you have, pay your taxes and maintain your lifestyle --- How is it that because their Pegula's that could not have the same goals any one of us have.

This is a lot to do about nothing.

Tim Graham interviewed almost 40 current/former PSE employees, and the feedback was that dysfunction, nepotism, and cost-cutting pervade the organization.  The Pegulas gave a presentation in January, right after the Bills made the playoffs, and one of the stated "three pillars" of organizational goals was "return on investment," which was widely described (and possibly stated by the Pegulas directly, though that seems shocking) as ensuring that the Pegulas can maintain their lavish lifestyle.  There is concern that the dysfunction within the Sabres will spill over into the Bills, and McD allegedly is concerned about it.

Wait .. one of PSE's goals is to make money??? It is clear that the Athletic, WalMart, Bob's Burger Shack, and each one of us is not concerned about return on investment , why is PSE. Even not-for-profits such as University of Buffalo, United Way, etc .. need to consider the return on investment for things or they end up unable to function.  The story may be relevant, but a company caring about ROI .. is a non-issue.

Manning would be a more difficult teacher because he had so much natural talent it’s often not easy to explain the how/why a young QB with a different skill set can maximize potential. He would be better in the film room imo, breaking down defenses

Was thinking the same thing. The greats (how many greats became head coaches / Offensive coordinators - Bart Starr is the only name that comes to mind) aren't sitting watching others once they have made it .. they are performing. The Frank Reich's of the world are sitting taking everything in .. providing value by watching the starter and looking for things that can be improved. Alex van Pelt is an OC... happens a lot with backup QBs.

No way you could shoe-horn this with the other Diggs-Josh thread you simultaneously started?

While I truly appreciate your attempt to "fix" my posting style by suggesting how you might have done it. I chose not too because it really was the reverse .. Stefon talking about Josh though as I stated in the text briefly. It wasn't much. I felt some might be interested. If you were not interested you could have saved yourself some time by not responding. If you would have merged it with the other thread .. well that could have been done, but is it the"right" way to do it. Who made you Master of the threads? I don't recall seeing you as an Admin. Likely because they don't want trolls being admins. It seems like every post that even remotely makes it seem like Josh could become the long-term QB for the Bills you have a comment. I would assume you were a fan of the previous Bills QBs, Tyrod, Fitzmagic , ... or maybe some of the Jets and Dolphins winners .. Tannehill, Rosen, Darnold, Sanchez, Geno Smith ... My guess is you like Rex Ryan have a tattoo of Sanchez and have gone a step further and added one of Darnold.

  7. I loved Laquon Treadwell coming out of college (which explains why I am not a NFL GM). He is 6' 2" 221. Has not lived up to expectations but has behind Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen. I would like him if cheap (low risk - some potential reward), but other than him I would prefer to use a couple of picks in the draft on the position.

I'm sick of hearing about Jordan Palmer and his phony QB training business.  Another person with a nice face and "media speech" making money off the NFL!!

Whether you like him or not, he has a big influence on the QB of the Buffalo Bills, so it probably has some value to listen to him if for nothing else to hear what Josh is working on etc.
