Was he amazing .. no, but for his 1st playoff game ... I would say pretty darn good

It is sick .. I love the Buffalo Bills and I am disappointed when they lose and I can even get a bit angry when they do something stupid, but at the end of the day .. it is a game. - It is too early to tell, but yes it was a relatively easy schedule.

- Really .. based on what? They rested their starters because it was a meaningless game. technically we were 10 - 5 with our starters. I know we should have been some number in your mind, but come on. Bill Belichick was an amazing 20 - 28 in his first three years as a head coach.

- Teams that are growing. Would you prefer they couldn't stay on the field with them. Using your own logic there were many "one plays" in all three of those games where if the catch was made, the throw was better, the ... we would have won. If you are getting drubbed by the best teams the build has farther to go.
You have the right to be a pessimist .. is is a free country, but the fact that others are optimistic as is our right as well .. and us optimists .. we are more enjoyable to be around

This is a bit of a response to the optimist thread that was closed and probably shouldn’t have been. People have a right o express themselves ...,
Sobering thoughts for Bills pessimists
1) Josh Allen threw for more yards and ran for more yards ... oh yeah and caught more passes than Deshaun Watson who was playing in his second playoff game.
2) The Bills offense had 2 returning starters from last year
3) the Bills won 10 games and barely lost to the Ravens, and Pats twice .. and didn’t play the last game.,if they needed it are you delusional enough to think the Jets who barely beat our backups would have beaten our starters.
4) We lose almost nobody next year to Free agency5) we have gobs of cash to spend in free agency to get better
come off the ledge ... better days are ahead

Nice article just dropped by The Ringer that really speaks to the path forward for this team. Only 1 Defensive starter is an UDFA (Lorenzo Alexander) .. with Levi Wallace a RFA and no real high ticket-priced guys. This speaks to Beane (acquiring reasonable priced talent) and McDermott (getting the most out of them)

On getupESPN they were discussing the need for a leader of men .. they threw out Jack Del Rio and Jim Caldwell and then Domonique Foxworth threw out .... Rex Ryan who happened to be sitting across from him. Rex mentioned something about .. yeah someone who could win playoff games. Oh my the Browns would truly be must-see TV. Two updates from Rappaport .. Bruce Allen - President of the Skins is fired; Ron Rivera to be hired today. I think he has the right mindset to work in Washington .. but not certain Belichick could be successful with Dan Snyder.

He wouldn’t cost much of anything as he would not be eligible for this weeks game ... so it would just be the standard playoff pay-out. If he signed it would be to help repair his image ... show he can be a team player and make plays ... Sean Payton has stated they will not be signing him at this point

Mark Miller agreed to be filmed for a sports show, that doesn't necessarily mean it's ok for a corporation to repurpose his face for their advertising purposes.
If the new breakfast cereal Frothing Flakes used the imagery I get it. I am certain the Bills thought he would not mind because it is in support of the team he loves as I am certain there have been many incidences of the Bills having pictures of their fans on their website .. most people love it. I 100% guarantee they will no longer use it and the only person who will be unhappy is Mr. Miller.

I've brought up stats continually & blame the coaching as they have not allowed Allen to be unleashed & see exactly what they had. They had Peterman start last year.....
Take a look at every QB drafted top 15 & almost all have been quickly given the opportunity to sink or swim. Deshawn Watson being a prime example.
Lamar too is who he is because Baltimore configured an offense for him & his skill set.
The offense is better but still 27th this year.....
By the way 47 games into McD's tenure & not a 300 yard game...... Had to throw that in.

I could have selected nearly anyone .. but good God an F. Josh Allen at the end of the first round of the playoffs will have the second most passing yards and by far the most rushing yards of any starting QB + the most receiving yards of any starting QB ... but let's dig deeper. I pulled the stats for the first playoff game of some of the great current QBs and many HOFers. I did not cherry pick .. I was actually surprised on the comparison.
