  1. It’s hilarious how some/ most of you praise Daboll and wish he replaced McDermott, but beforehand majority of this board was screaming for him to hit the road after the Jacksonville game. I agree that Daboll helped Allen become a better QB I don’t disagree that Daboll had a big hand in developing him. But to me I give a lot more credit to Josh because he wanted to get better and wouldn’t settle for anything less and did everything in his power to get where he’s at right now. Personally I don’t think Daboll is going to last in NJ for the long term. If Barkley doesn’t resign then that offense will be in serious trouble, also the QB position is a big ? as well. You can’t go into next season with Daniel Jones as your starter. He’s gotten away with a-lot this season large part because of bottom level competition and they had no game film on them. Since then they’ve become from very good to very average to below average. It might just be me but I don’t see in the long term for Daboll with the giants.

They have Daniel Jones and WRs who wouldn't be on 31 other teams in the NFL.

Ok but again what do you do about the QB position if you move on from Jones? Both the giants and jets are in big trouble because of their QB position being weak.

I believe he had 9.5 sacks thus far this season … hardly washed

Not too long ago a report came out that they had to get his heart shocked back into rhythm due to an irregular heart beat. He’s been completely washed up since his last years back in Houston when he couldn’t stay healthy and failed to play a full season.

pretty sure he retired a few years ago.... :)

he was practically retired in his final years in Houston when he could barley last 4 games a season

I bet he's glad he picked Arizona over Buffalo so he could get a shot at a ring before retiring...

I think it more so had to do with preference of living and the amount of money whatever team was going to pony up for him. I highly doubt Beane was offering the same or more than what Arizona ended up giving him. Also the cold weather wouldn’t have been kind to his injuries. I think we should be happy that we dodged a bullet by not getting him. He wasn’t necessarily lighting up the world when he was playing healthy for Arizona

Singletary can play.  Cook can play.  Gotta give them the ball though.  6-7 carries ain’t gonna get the best out any RB.   Don’t be shocked if Motor is back. Won’t cost a lot.   I like Jacobs.  I think he’ll cost a bit more than Moror will.

Hines might get flipped before/during the draft as part of a trade.   It doesn’t appear Dorsey will use him as a RB much.   Question is if they wanted to wait until next season to fully integrate him.   But I can’t see how that makes sense.

Depends if he wants to be on a contender. Not all but some players will take a pay cut to be on a contender just because they want to win. Jacobs knows he ain’t winning ***** in LV

I’m fine with the backs now but I want Hunter Renfrow of all the players on that offense to bad he’s got another year on that offense

Nah he’s got a lot of dropped passes at crucial times as well as fumbles

not picking up his 5th year was sure an interesting strategy

He was inconsistent and was getting injured a lot. I understood why they didn’t pick up his 5 year but I’m sure they’re regretting it 110 percent

Beane isn't likely to sign a RB that already has 4 years of wear & tear.

With Allen's contract set to balloon, and the free agency of Poyer and Edmunds; Beane wont spend much on a back.

Singletary fits this offense but if he signs elsewhere, Bills could survive with Cook and a couple inexpensive rookies

Allen has already said he’ll restructure his contract, poyer is older and is injury prone now and I think most on here would agree that Edmunds isn’t worth paying big bucks to keep him around

Are people finally ready to accept that David Carr is and has always been average?

Calling him average is being generous. I’d say he’s a below average QB who had 1 good season but did nothing to build on that 1 good season.

Never thought I’d see a day I wanted the ball taken out of Allen’s hands. Today is the day. Running game is working, Allen is off. Less Allen, more RBs today please.

I don't think Allen is having an off game I think the weather has definitely become a factor in this game. And the winds have kicked in also Chicago has had trouble stopping the run all season

I don't know about independently wealthy, but his family is extremely wealthy.  He was always touted as the next great growing up.

Nothing humble about his upbringing.  He isn't known to be the greatest teammate or very coachable. It all caught up with him in the NFL.

Didn’t his old coach Mora also say he wouldn’t take him in the first round?
