I wonder if he would accept a trade somewhere with a chance to win

I totally understand this but you could also end up being Rivers and the Chargers.

Lots of great years, lots of wins, just never got to the super bowl

You would have to give up a ***** load of picks to get him. Rams don’t have any picks and they need all they can get. I don’t see any team giving up the capital for an old Aaron Donald who’s had injury problems this season

I’m so confused what has happened to these two teams.

The League MVP, against the Defending Champs! If I’m a producer for ESPN, I’ve got Goodell on speed dial with these Primetime games.

I’ll give you Stafford being out. But that defense?! And where’s the innovative offense from McVay? Where’s the commitment to play action and chipping away to open up the middle of the field? Where’s the dedication to pace!

Is it losing Adam’s; or the way they lost him? And the Green Bay defense? Again… what’s happening? Where’s the heart of this team? Who’s the step up and make something happen guy? It just seems like there’s an real problem with Rodgers and the team that no one has stepped up yet.

Someone said Donald may retire. I know a lot of people; pundits and fans alike, who will applaud him for going out on top. But to me, that’s the “star player” not the ideal FRANCHISE player. As a fan of the sport and the legends that I have been lucky to watch, I want a lifetime commitment to the team and the sport. Maybe I’m spoiled because all my favorite players live and die in my hometown. But guys like Donald, who are too big to go through a rebuild, their legacy gets tarnished in my book.

He was already retiring after their SB win. McVay begged him to stay and convinced him they could repeat if he came back. I think if Donald knew how things would turn out then he probably would’ve just gone with retirement. Plus even when he was healthy he wasn’t that effective this season

People will say “Well, they got their Super Bowl”..

Eh, I want one, but not like this.  Not when you trade away your entire future and are horrible after.

It likely doesn’t get much better.   Stafford is deteriorating, Donald has half his foot out the door, they have no young talent and not much ability to infuse the team with it moving forward.

Id honestly trade Donald to rebuild with picks if I’m them.

    Good chance Donald might retire

EJ came before Sammy.  This was Doug Whaley's "we need weapons for EJ to utilize" period.

I still don’t know why we got rid of Stevie Johnson. If EJ couldn’t get it done with Stevie then they should’ve taken another QB instead of taking Watkins

I know this might not be the most popular opinion, but I would actually bring him back

13 catches for 206 yards and zero tds and you want to bring him back???

Somewhere in the world Doug Marrone is yet again sporting a smug, "I ***** told you so look" on his punchable face.

Doug Whaley is thinking, I could have been a champion if I would have had more time to personally work with Sammy.

Russ Brandon is thinking "Man, I was bullet proof teflon until Terry and Kim got there."

    The three stooges.

  5. 13 total catches for only 206 yards?? He might as well just retire. He got his ring already.

He didn’t really do anything to be remembered by over there lol

I was being facetious. I'm fairly sure it's happening. Just skeptical of what other agents or other issues that may delay the 2026 opening. Understand, I've been hearing 'new stadium' for over 20 years. Starting to feel like Linus every year, waiting for the Great Pumpkin who never arrives.

The fact that it will take nearly 4 years the build is what surprised me.  The empire state building was completed in 13 months over 90 years ago.

I think the Bills would’ve been in their new stadium already if Cuomo didn’t put the new stadium on the back burner for so long. I think the Pegulas wanted the stadium earlier and Cuomo kept putting it off.

But, they’ll probably have to execute a drawn out environmental study before the first shovel of dirt is thrown.

For someone living in Atlanta, it’s astounding to me how slowly progress is made in NYS. The layers of bureaucracy is mind-boggling.
When there was talk of building a new stadium for the Falcons, they got the ball rolling and 3 years later they were playing in the Georgia Dome.

20+ years later, did it again and built Mercedes Benz Stadium.
The Bills and league have been talking new stadium since Doug Flutie and the stadium rehab of early 2000’s.
As far as the new stadium goes…I’ll believe it when I see it.
BTW- how’s that new Peace Bridge project coming along?

Believe it when you see it?? I guess you better believe it since they just confirmed the deal is done by signing a lease extension on highmark and the 30 year lease for the new stadium.

I thought there was a thread on this from a week or 2 ago, but couldn't find it.

It was noted that Allen was getting his shoulder and elbow stretched out, ON THE FIELD, before practice today

Banged up Bills had this to say about it (I'm not sure what he means by "distraction observed too", Anyone?

There's another video clip where at the end, Josh can be seen lying on the ground with his shoulder/elbow being worked on.

I wish we could persuade our guy to stop running down the field like a human Wrecking Ball and slide more.

I think Beane and company invest heavily in the O line during the off season. Once the line gets better then the running game will kick in and they won’t have to rely on Allen running as much

My big bugbear with the offense, and maybe it's more specifically Josh - what's happened with him taking with what's on offer? Before the bye we seemed to have a bit of everything, particularly in passing plays. The defense gives us short plays, we took them; someone got free deep, Josh threw it. Now, we seem to be overlooking this for deep shots more often that not. There seems to be no ease with our offensive play now. Everything is a challenge.

New scheme since Dorsey is putting together a new offense and is not following Daboll. Also Outside of Diggs I don’t think Allen trusts any of his receivers. Davis has been a disappointment this season

Shown nothing?  Leading the league in TD passes with 6 Ints isn’t “nothing”.

he’s not a great passer, but he’s a pretty good QB-  only the haters/delusional would disagree.

Has never passed for more than 2,000 yards since his second year in the NFL. He’s not a QB he’s a running back trying to play QB. It’s not hating when speaking facts. You take him out of the offense he’s in and put him in a pass heavy offense and you will watch him fail

Come on. Lamar is a pretty good QB. I think his W-L record proves that. Could do better in the playoffs, but if I’m the Ravens I am paying him. What other option do they have?

Pretty good QB?? I strongly disagree with that. Now a great runner of the football is something I can agree with. But he’s shown nothing as a passer of the football.

It's interesting because I think the Ravens are there. They aren't really SB contenders. They are always good not great. Lamar shines some times but hasn't shown he can beat the better teams in the playoffs and has dealt his injuries the last two years. Do you pay him??

Not what he wants. 250 million fully guaranteed for an athlete trying to play QB is not a smart move if I’m the ravens.
