  1. At this point we need to let the OBJ nonsense die. It’s obvious he hasn’t recovered from his injury and most likely will not be the same player he used to be. Let him be someone else’s problem. Go with what you have for this season and then in the offseason address the WR depth.

That's it. I'm not even sure this is worth a thread, but after watching coaching all season, and particularly this past weekend and last night - it's pretty clear we have a good one in McD.  ALL coaches make mistakes and have moments you can point to that are sub-par, but on balance, this coaching staff is well-prepared, gameplans well & makes good adjustments.

Around the rest of the league, the coaching is just bad.  There are obviously some good ones, but it's a pretty small group.  I'd put McDermott in the top 5 right now.

He’s been the best coach this franchise has had since Marv and Wade. And yet there are some on this board that want him gone lol.

  3. It’s really disheartening and disturbing these last 5 games how many have turned against Allen. Guy gives it his all and puts his heart and soul on the team. Has he played reckless? Yes he has. But the team around him outside of Diggs has not helped him much at all. Davis is not the true number 2 WR that we all hoped he would become after his playoff stint against the Chiefs. Knox has also taken a big step back since getting his new contract and that’s becoming a growing theme not only for us but to every team around the league. Also the o line has regressed and large part due to injuries. Chances are we’re going to need a new center and move on from Morse.

to all those who dislike Allen now. Just remember what we had for 17 years before Allen came to us. Remember Bledsoe, Losman, Fitzpatrick and Edwards, Van Pelt etc

It's sad the number of Bills fans that have turned on him. He's playing through an injured elbow, his pass protection fails him, his skill position players let him down, his rookie OC calls predictable plays that the defense locks down easily. The whole offense once again is Allen. I just hope his elbow heals up enough by the playoffs to get his accuracy back to where it usually is. Not like our run game is suddenly going to carry the offense for him while he heals.

Any fan that’s turned against Allen is not a Buffalo Bills fan. I wonder how many people on this board would B word and Moan if Kelly was playing today? Majority would’ve tried to run him out of town. And I can honestly say that I’m not one of the fans that adores or praises Kelly.

  5. He’s playing hero ball and is trying to make up for the lack of talent on the offense. We can’t run successfully because our O line isn’t good and outside of Diggs our WR corps is very average at best. Defenses are starting to catch on to our offense being one dimensional seeing that we can run the ball effectively and consistently

The Jets had 2 yards of total offense in the second half against the Pats.   It wasn't a bad weather game.

    Two yards....

    Today Zach was 9/22 (40.9%) for 77 yards, 0 TD,  0 INT,  3 sacks for 44 yards

    Through Zach's first 7 games this season;

    57.5 comp percentage

    1,202 yards passing --  171 yards a game

    4 TDs

    5 INTs

They've had some tough injuries on offense but Zach can't even game manage.  He just can't be under center again next year.  They're going to have to go back to the well for another QB.  This year's Jets are like a lot of Drought Era Bills' teams, a great defense squandered by a parade of inept quarterback play.

Josh had some tough games in year two but he was constantly flashing, showing the potential that was there.  I don't think anyone who watches Zach thinks he's on the cusp of putting it all together and breaking out.  It was clear at the end of the 4th quarter today with it tied at 3 and the Jets with the ball, that Saleh was trying to hide Zach, trying to not have him lose the game.  Saleh had no confidence in Zach's ability to make a play and even get the ball into field goal range.  The Jets ended up punting it away and the Pats returned the punt 84 yards for the only TD of the game with 5 seconds left.

The Jets have already spent their horde of draft picks.  In next year's draft they only have their own pick for the first 4 rounds.  This miss on Zach is really going to set them back.  They're going to win just enough games to get them selecting in the middle third of the draft.  They're going to have to trade away future picks to move up for a blue chip prospect in the draft or look for a retread vet QB to pick up.

I can't imagine Joe Douglas and Robert Saleh putting their livelihood in Zach's hands again next year.  They're going to ask for a mulligan and try to grab another QB.

Unless they plan to tank the rest of their season for a higher draft pick then they won’t be in a position to grab a top QB in next years draft

I think it was clear that Wilson was going to be a bust the moment the jets drafted him. People complain that Tua is small and dare I say that Wilson is smaller than Tua. Yes Wilson has a strong arm but that ain’t gonna do Jack ***** for you if you can’t hit the top ocean from the beach. Jets are going to be in major trouble moving forward because of their QB problem.

Unfortunately, Wilson had a decent game against the Bills.

18/25 154 yards is a decent game to you ??
