Brady still has that ability to lead two minute game winning drives like we saw against the Rams and Saints this year. It’s like he can do that in his sleep.

I think Las Vegas would be a good landing spot for Brady.

He played the panthers 🤣. Go back and look how he’s done against stellar competition this year. He looks pedestrian

Brady, they tried getting him a year or two ago and what better way to prop up his numbers than throwing to Hill and Waddle.

Brady is done he can’t throw the football anymore. There’s been countless times this season wheres he’s either overthrown or under thrown his receivers. You can’t blame lack of offensive power because they have the weapons down there. Father Time finally caught up to him. That would be retarted of Miami to get rid of Tua for a 46 year old QB with nothing left in the tank. Brady is just a name at this point and nothing more.

someone is going to Miami. It it is clear  Tua can not be counted on there.

It’s either Derek Carr or Jimmy G going to Miami. I was leaning toward Carr to Miami at first butJimmy G has a background with McDaniel and knows how to run his offense. Brady I think is retiring after this season. He’s got nothing left and idk who’s gonna want to sign a 46 year old QB who really can’t throw the football anymore.

I already pointed out where you were wrong. You said he didn’t join the Raiders to be on a team with Carr. He said he did, with his own mouth.

You and I both know a contracted player can’t just leave a team because he’s unhappy. So your logic about my logic is flawed.

There’s zero benefit for Adams to say he went there to work with Carr after he’s been sat, and is almost assuredly cut in the off-season other than letting the team know he’s unhappy with the choice.

Just freakin’ admit you were wrong. All it will do is build a strong trust and bond for us going forward. Don’t you want that for us?!

Actually he joined the raiders because Rodgers told him that he might retire after this season or next season. Obviously Adams didn’t like what he was seeing from Love otherwise he probably would’ve stayed. Especially since GB was offering more guaranteed money than LV

I am not arguing Carr is elite though. But he isn't one of the top 5 problems on that team. And he never has been.

Can you win a Superbowl with him? Maybe not. But you can be a regular playoff team with Carr by simply playing average defense.

Terrible ownership. Terrible defenses. Terrible coaching. Decent Quarterbacking.

And they dump the Quarterback. Raiders gonna Raider.

But is not just about making the playoffs it’s about competing for a SB and eventually winning one. You just admitted that you can’t win a SB with Carr as your starter. So what that tells me is that he’s a Ryan Fitzpatrick level back up that at times like Fitzpatrick, can be successful and look the part.

Yep. That was the 1 top half out of 18 tries. And they made the playoffs... look at that.

And again who screwed the pooch in the playoff game? You can’t overlook 8 plays in the 4th quarter on cinci’s 10 yard line and not one of them made it in a receivers hands in the end zone.

Also it’s hard for a 20th ranked defense to get off the field when their offense keeps going 3 and out and can’t generate a drive or points

  8. 1 minute ago, GunnerBill said:

9 years. 18 opportunities to have a defense in the top half of the NFL by either yards or points.

They managed it once, last year, and Carr took them to the playoffs. 14 of those 18 rankings were worse than 20th. Their defense has been dreadful his entire run there.

Elite guys can overcome bad defenses. Carr is not elite. But give him even average defenses and he is a playoff Quarterback

Idk the raiders defense last year was pretty good not great but Gus had those guys competing last year.

And produced a solid offense. The problem with the Raiders this year (and every other year) is their defense. They had a defense ranked in the top half of the league on EITHER yards or points ONCE in Carr's time as their QB. Last year. And he made the playoffs.

I am not telling anyone Derek Carr is elite. He clearly isn't. But he isn't even among the top 5 issues with the Raiders. To be so inept on defense for so long is really hard in this league.

Strongly disagree with this take. He’s been on the team for 9 almost 10 years. 9-10 years and you still can’t get it done then you are one of the top 5 problems. He begged for Davante and got him, he has arguably the best running game in the league and he still struggled and has looked worse than he has in the past 4 seasons. The game against Jax he had a total of 35 yards in the 2nd half. He got blown out against a terrible NO team that’s in full rebuild mode. Couldn’t beat a practice squad rams defense after leading in that game and did everything he could to keep the rams in that game. Blew the first game against the chargers with 3 picks. Last year in the playoffs against Cincinnati him and the offense had 8 plays in the 4th quarter on cinci’s 10 yard line and not one pass ended up in the end zone. If you can’t see that he’s one of the top 5 problems then your either blind as a bat or because you really like the guy, your simply in denial

One more thing I’ll add is that it took Miami 9 years to finally wake up and realize that Tannehill wasn’t the answer and an argument can be made that Ryan and Derek are almost the same QB with Derek only being slightly better.

I always compared Allen the most to Favre since the Bills got him. Not for physical reasons, but just his attitude and how he plays the game. He's like a mix between Favre and Rodgers. Considering how astronomical their careers were, it's crazy to think Allen will be approaching that some day.

Besides being a gunslinger like Favre id say the best comparison was John Elway. Because Elway could do it both with his legs and his arm like Allen. Dare I say he has a little bit of Kelly and Marino in him as well. The way he can command the locker room and take charge.

Their best weapon is Garrett Wilson.

Also why would you go from paying almost no tax in LV Nevada to paying up the ass in taxes in NJ/NY? Miami you’ve got a 1,700 yard receiver and a 1,400 yard Receiver, plus a decent running game in Mostert and Wilson Jr and no state tax.

According to you the running backs are the only weapons they have.  That's called moving the goal posts.

I say running backs because none of the Jets receivers haven’t  been major threats to anyone these last couple seasons. The only threat the jets have had this season was their running game

Amazing that this guy got a second head coaching job. Of course the Raiders front office hasn't done anything smart in a long time.

I wonder if the NFL is trying everything in their power for Davis to sell the team? It’s obvious the NFL still holds a grudge against the Davis family

Definitely should’ve been the pick over Dareus. Was an absolute force in his prime (roided up or not.) Something tells me he would’ve stuck around a couple more years if he came here instead of Arizona.

Dude literally had to have his heart shocked back into Rhythm. I don’t think his body would’ve lasted. And with the kind of money he was making he sure as hell wouldn’t be a rotational player.

Carr to the Jets would be something.

I wouldn’t be surprised if McDaniels is fired. Good spot for Payton.

Davis already said he’s not firing McDaniel.

I say Carr goes to Miami because of Tyreek and Jaylen. Also Florida no state tax. NY is one of the highest taxed states. He lives in LV Nevada one of the most tax friendly cities.

you think he’ll be okay backing up Tua?  Or you think Tua will have a very early retirement?

Depends if they make the playoffs and how far they get. Tua still could call It quits and walk off. Watch for veteran FA QB’s line up for Miami. Tyreek is on pace for a 1,700 yard season and Waddle is already at 1,260 yards on pace to finish with 1,400 yards. I can definitely see Carr wanting to play with those guys

I think Carr has gotten a bad rap most of his career. He’s been pretty good, but not great, in a terribly unstable organization and has been extremely loyal to it.

I don’t know what he has in the tank anymore, but I do know that McDaniels sucks as a HC. At some point the org has to move on from both. Careers always end.  But if I’m a QB needy team like the Jets I would have zero issues taking a flyer on the guy.

I hope McDaniels gets stuck with Carson Wentz.

I think Carr goes to Miami. Jets have zero weapons on offense outside of their running game
