Do you disbelieve or disagree with McDermott's expressed view that it's proven in the NFL, you can't win long term against the best teams while you're turning the ball over that much?
I also don't understand what is hypocritical about people's negative reactions to Allen's INTs. I'm not saying you're wrong, but not understanding the use of the word "hypocritical" to describe it.
No I don’t disagree but it’s amusing how most of the fans on this board overreact/fall apart if Allen makes any mistake/turnover. My point Kelly was much more worse with his turnovers and was 1,000 times more reckless with the ball than Allen’s ever been since playing here. I want to know if this board would react the same if this board existed back then or if we would’ve given Kelly a pass because most on here view Kelly as a god in Buffalo for some reason.

How did we do against Denver in 2020 with his great D?
That’s why said Vic Fangio lol

Do you think it's not an appropriate topic for discussion?
No I’m just making a point. You guys can talk about whatever you want. I just find the Hypocrisy at times on this board and most posts about everyone’s overreaction Allen’s turnovers is a bit hypocritical.

https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/35482620/dolphins-fire-dc-josh-boyer-three-seasons?platform=amp I can see them going after Vic Fangio

I love how there’s posts for Allen’s turnovers. Imagine if this board existed back when Kelly was playing lol. Now there’s a guy that had a worse turnover problem than Allen

so,
i dunno if roman can change his spots enough to run what would be considered a good O for us (i'd give him a 25% of that) but i know i don't want him over dorsey (yeah yeah, might not have the choice!) because in his first OC year dorsey has us passing and running, which i think was our prior biggest flaw.
i will say, i DON'T WANT roman and lamar to both end up on the jets.
https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2023/01/19/john-harbaugh-oc-job-will-be-highly-sought-after-lamar-jackson-will-have-input/ I don’t think you have to worry about that. Looks like he’s gonna stay in Baltimore

I think this will bite the ravens in the ass. Roman had the perfect system for Jackson. You take him out of that system and he will be exposed big time. They better have a back up plan

Trent Edwards sucked lol
The best game of his career was the game AFTER the concussion!
He was a mediocre quarterback who had a run of success like 100 other backups …. Got figured out and faltered
Just because you hit a few deep balls doesn’t mean you have a deep ball game
I’m not saying Edwards was any good but he did have a deep ball game. My point was we’re bitching about Allen not checking down all the time when all we bitched and complained about was edwards checking the ball down all the time. Point is you can’t have your cake and eat it to

https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2023/01/16/brian-flores-emerges-as-potential-favorite-for-cardinals-coach/amp/ I wonder how well it’s gonna go on the sideline when Murray tells Flores to calm the ***** down!

He can easily turn Wilson into the next EJ Manuel.
I dont think he needs Hackett to help him do that. He’s been doing that by himself successfully lol

becuase Edwards had no deep threat ball and defenses just loaded up.
Josh has the Luxury, yes luxury , of scaring defenses to protect over the top balls.
which is why Bills should run and play a complete offense. Josh Can do it all !
Thats how you win the long gameThat’s not true Edwards before getting hurt definitely had a deep threat game.

Random takeaway from that first story, and to this very day Allen hates throwing short passes.
It’s hilarious how most Bills fans trashed Edwards for being captain checkdown and now you guys have something against Allen for not checking down/throwing short passes enough lol

I used to worry about it a lot when I was younger. Now I have developed other interests that are ultimately more important and I realize there's little point indulging anxiety over something I can't control. Though, I suspect I'm not really that evolved and mostly I am fairly confident the Pegula family will do right by Buffalo. If the new stadium materializes, that lease probably lasts longer than I do.
Who knows if the NFL will be around in 30 plus years

It's a speculative article about if the Pegulas would sell the Bills
He was also talking about Kim’s health being in question after her daughter posted that she’s been doing well. The guy writes as if he wants the bills to leave Buffalo. I guess there’s a Mike Florio everywhere.

Dude. Why did he throw so much ? Could it be the Bucs running game sucked partially due to the OL injuries ?
Competed 67% of his passes on a team with decimated with injuries to the OL and a substandard running game. 25-9 TD to INT rating.
Call him mediocre if you like but put him on a team with an above average line and a running game and he's good for another year.
He’s not good anymore. He’s regressed to the level of Marino back in 99. If he stays 1 more year either in Tampa or LV or possibly Miami ( which I highly doubt ) all 3 teams will regret it signing him. Brady is just a name at this point, nothing more.

In public and rubbing it in the faces of the rest of the world? Doubtful most non-douche bag people do that. Most people are mature enough to not even do it in private but not these losers.
Those fish are all grade A douche bags, thus the lingering desperate cries for attention.. The solution to this is once another team goes undefeated, they line up the following weekend against these 80 year olds and let the chips fall where they may to see who gets the greatest team ever title. I’d pay to see it.
Most of them probably might not be around next season. Also with all their accomplishments, they’ve earned the right to be douche bags.

Im too young to remember those teams but holy chiiiit i hate that undefeated champagne popping story. dbags
Well let’s be honest. If your team went undefeated and your franchise has been able remain undefeated for 50 plus years with no one else being able to beat that record. I 1000 percent guarantee you’d be popping a bottle of champagne and celebrating

I actually thought this might happen until Florio said so. Now I think it won’t.
Florio doesn’t know what the ***** he’s talking about half the time. Brady is most likely going to retire. If I was him I’d go look at Brett Favre’s last season and save himself from embarrassment
1 minute ago, BillsShredder83 said:dead serious, i could see him using that as a tie breaker between mia and another similar team. who was 12 though? wasnt marino. if its an old timer id bet the team approaches that guy for "permission"
Bob Griese. And Griese has said before he will not un retire his number to anyone

The scary part is that Mike McDaniel is probably the perfect coach to orchestrate this offense.Unlike Brady, teams will have to trade a ton for Lamar and Miami is out #1 picks for a few seasons. They also don’t have the cap space to sign him to the franchise deal he wants. So I think it’s a long shot but damn….what a nightmare it would be
I don’t see how. Minus Lamar’s running ability. He’s one of the most inaccurate QBs in the league. McDaniels offense Would require him to pass the ball more. He would struggle in that offense
11 minutes ago, DrDawkinstein said:Exactly why I want the Dolphins to sign him.
I think that’s the reason Miami won’t sign him lol

Out of Tua, Lamar, or Brady, I'd most like to see the Dolphins sign Brady.
Miami going round 2 of 1999 Dan Marino?? I don’t see it. Brady no longer brings anything to the table besides his name and that’s it. We saw how bad Tampa bay’s o line is imagine him behind Miami’s 31st ranked o line lol. At least Tua is accurate and has a quick release. Brady doesn’t have either anymore
Brian Flores to Arizona?

No his failure was bringing in a top tier OC and QB coach that could develop Tua and the entire offense properly. His failure was adapting to those that were around him during his time in Miami. His failure was alienating his entire coaching staff and treating everyone like *****.
