  1. If we make it past Cinci. If I’m a defender I’m taking the 15 yard penalty and going right after Mahomes bad ankle. Take him out of the game completely and potentially ruin next season for him. It might be dirty but sometimes you gotta win dirty

That's not the point. The bizarre concept here is that a lot of Bills fans either want Allen to carry the team and/or think it's fair to expect Allen to carry the team. When the goal is ascending to a championship, being so singularly player-dependent is both precarious and naive.

I gotta ask you, why are you on this board if you hate the Buffalo Bills and Josh Allen?? Now your saying we’re being to dependent on our top 3 QB lol you can’t make this ***** up. Maybe if if the line was better and not only bought him more time but also opened up some running lanes consistently then they wouldn’t have to be so dependent on Josh to bail them out

That's the owners, that has nothing to do with an Agreement between Erie County and Pegula//The Bills.  Nor does it have anything to do with an Agreement between the State, who will own the new stadium, and Pegula/The Bills.

All that is is a vote permitting the aforementioned.  The Bills still don't have permission to play at Highmark in the fall.

Idk what your worried about they’re not going anywhere and the deal is practically done at this point. I highly doubt they’re going to piss it all away, especially since they’ve come this far. Have a beer and relax

Seems like a LOT of loose ends to wrap up incredibly soon.  As of now the team has nowhere to play come this fall as the current lease ends in July.

This is cutting things pretty close, too close for comfort.  The NFL is making the schedule, why hasn't Pegula signed a one-year lease extension for 2023 if he won't sign a longer one until the Stadium Agreement is finalized.

Here's where it gets dicey, in mid-December or so, the BN reported that the only thing holding up the formalization of the Stadium Agreement was the CBA.  The asking price on the CBA was $500M over 30 years, less than $20M/year.  I have no idea why that would hold anything up.  Now it's a number of things, couched in a bunch of eyebrow-raising statements like Poloncarz announcing that he's "hoping to have something to announce by the end of this month."  They've been saying that since summer.

IDK, I for one am getting nervous about this whole thing.  If Pegula's convinced that the Stadium is going to go down, then why hasn't he signed an extension for Highmark?  Even just one or two seasons.

Not a top level business person but having just read "Work in Progress" it seems more odd than it did to me before that we have heard nothing about Kim Pegula.  Is that just the difference between a public company and a private company?  If the company was public we would know more kind of thing?

It’s at the final stage. It just passed the environmental impact stage

Nah. Phillips would be a good 4-3 end, Chubb would be better in that system as a wide 9 rusher where he is just told to get after the passer, Wilkins is crying out to be let loose as a 3T rathet than having to two gap. Their DBs are perfect fits for Schwartz's press bail on the outside.

They'd need a middle linebacker. But that apart they could roll this personnel out in a Schwartz D and be excellent quickly IMO.

You could be right but honestly I think Miami sticks out the 3-4 scheme and finds a 3-4 DC the only ones their for now are both Fangio and the DC from Hackett’s staff in Denver

It worked against Buffalo a couple of times. Overall it fails miserably.

He is awful. Sad they fired him. To be where they are in defense with the talent they have on that side of the ball is criminal.

Thank heavens Schwartz is already off the market. Their personnel is darn near perfect for him.

Not necessarily,Jim runs a 4-3 scheme while Miami’s defense is a 3-4. Majority of players on their defense are 3-4 players. Fangio is probably their best bet or they might target the DC in Denver since they’re gonna fire that whole staff

I kind of admire Boyer and don’t think he’s a terrible DC.  He knew he was cooked when he played the Bills yesterday so he threw everything he could at Josh.  The turnovers helped Miami stay close.

I was watching the game and thinking out loud saying where did this defense come from?? Why hasn’t Miami’s defense played like this all season?  But that makes sense though kind of a last hurrah for Boyer who himself knows he’s a dead man walking after their season is over.

he got the most out of his unit against the Bills. it was actually impressive. I am pleasantly surprised by this

I mean I can understand why they fired him. Miami’s defense last season finished as a top 5 unit but Boyer brought them down to 27th ranked overall this year. No way that defense should’ve been as bad as they were this season especially with all the talent they had and adding Chubb from Denver in a trade.

    Reuniting with Flores in Arizona?

No, Flores alienated his whole staff last year by refusing to talk to anyone. He burned a lot of bridges which has me surprised that Arizona is showing Interest for him being their HC. With his reputation idk who would want to work with him

He obviously didn’t see the bombs away festival coming and for that he lost his job.

No because he took what was a top 5 ranked defense and had them finish 27th overall. With all that talent on the defense they shouldn’t have been as bad as they were this season overall.
