They are elites and therefore superior to all others. Why don’t they just share the acquired knowledge? Wouldn’t that be the right thing to do? That 50B won’t be drying up anytime soon.

Is it not possible to divert some of the 50B in the general fund to the purchase of critical scientific instruments? If it’s not possible, shouldn’t Harvard work to change that shortcoming? Surely the donors would approve as it will promote knowledge that will help everyone.
