These things are paranoid delusions. The party with a 20% approval rating and their media allies have told you to believe it and you willingly comply. It’s embarrassing.

At least two of those. Good lord. By what vehicle do you think the Nov 2026 elections would be cancelled? Trumpian decree? This is so embarrassing. You seem like a frightened old man. Please remember to come back in Nov 26 and 28 and fess up to your ridiculous thoughts. Maybe meet me at the polling station. You can hand out water.

I’ve heard that the bad orange man is an existential threat to democracy. When does that start? It seems like every branch of government is going full speed ahead. Keep me posted with your delusions if you don’t mind.

How does someone your age, ostensibly a man, become so over the top dramatic? Truly embarrassing.

I’m sure it’s disappointing and a little embarrassing to start a thread that no one is interested in engaging with. It happens to Tiberius and BillsLander a lot. This is me pretending to engage. Hope you have a super day!

Was it your impression he was sticking around for the whole four years? Two years? One year? Where did you get such an impression? -

I know.

...and if you click around on their site there's some pretty unique stories there and most of those stories cannot be found "anywhere and everywhere". The Biden laptop? Yeah, that's a pretty huge f-in deal...especially since we have elevated morality to the top of our political ideals right now. Big driver in your circles, I forgot. So, let's deprive the people of rural Alaska, (bastion of radical leftist ideology) some programming in the name of non-partisan correctness. I forgot that everything, anywhere, all the time, at every moment must be exactly one way in the culture war. My bad... (dumbazz sarcasm intended) I feel like your “looks absolutely defunct” comment is a touch intemperate. If you really cared about valuable local news in Alaska you would have clicked on one of the articles. Had you done so, you would find them dated no later than 2021. They call that an own goal. Good job. NPR is a biased media outlet. Nobody argues that point. You think they are deserving of public funding. Because of their demonstrated bias, I do not. I would not want an NPR right-biased alter ego funded either.

Alaska Energy Desk ceased in 2021. The residents of the state seemingly go about their day without this valuable local reporting. Regarding the bolded - NPR made it a huge issue by being partisan in their endeavors. Think Biden laptop story if you need confirmation. It’s really not debatable. Surely you can think of a better use for this funding. There is no reason to fund partisan media. Any and all information these people provide can be found anywhere and everywhere.
-
Any real-life examples of this valuable local reporting and its impact? Reporting that apparently cannot be done by non-government funded entities?

“Progressive” governance for the win! This should really pay dividends. 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻

The ballotpedia link includes a hyperlink for the arguments against closing schools. Shocked that you missed it. -

The real question - does anyone actually care what affluent, college educated voters think about NPR/PBS? It’s a rhetorical question. -

Don’t pretend you read all that. It was more than a sentence. Not in your wheelhouse. -

How so? The border disaster that the most dim among us believe was about skin color? That part was more productive and less damaging? I’m glad you are in a minority that gets smaller by the day. From the NYT this holiday weekend: Democrats hope that this is only a phenomenon of the Trump era, and that G.O.P. gains will evaporate once the president is no longer on the ballot.... But Chris Kofinis, a Democratic strategist who served as chief of staff to former Senator Joe Manchin of West Virginia, who left the party last year, warned that such optimism was misplaced. 'Trump is the symptom, not the disease,” he said. “The disease is the fact that you have lost touch with a whole swath of voters that used to consistently vote Democratic.”... Your party and ideology suck. You are truly a 20%er. -

Your awareness level is in the negative numbers at this point. Truly clueless. https://www.thetimes.com/us/american-politics/article/ron-klain-mike-donilon-steve-ricchetti-bruce-reed-jmlq37cbj The blame game is moving to a cabal of advisers, dubbed the “politburo” by colleagues in a nod to the highest decision-making body of the Soviet Union, a group said to have enjoyed unprecedented power. “Five people were running the country, and Joe Biden was at best a senior member of the board,” one cabinet member claims. “I’ve never seen a situation like this before, with so few people having so much power.
