  1. Hey all, I am taking my son to his first NFL/Bills game, and my first time seeing them in the Josh Allen era. Being west coast, I have seen the Bills a couple times in San Diego, and once in Buffalo when we drafted CJ Spiller, and we lost to the Dolphins in the most boring game ever played. We are coming for the Bills/Browns game (My in-laws are from Cleveland). Anyways, My son is 11 and we will be there with my father-in-law, brother-in-law, and his son (and son's friend) who play college baseball. We would like to enjoy some fun tailgating experiences for the day of the game, as opposed to wandering around Buffalo. We are more than happy to bring a cooler of steaks, or chicken, or brown 90 proof so we aren't free loading. I was wondering how we go about getting to a fun tailgate area, and maybe seeing some classic Bills stuff, like Pinto Ron, Bowling Ball shots, File Cabinet Pizza, or the Bills house thingy. We have rented a big van for a couple days... not sure if that matters. Please PM me if that is the more professional way, I don't know.

Shakir was the best of the rookies. Elam had several nice plays and just as many poor ones where he was lost or beat and grabbing. Encouraging performances overall from the group.

I checked past posts, and I think you may have made your opinion on Elam a long time ago, and you are going to make sure that it fits, no matter what. Kinda like the "Josh is inaccurate, and disappears in big games" experts who can't let it go. Even if Elam has a perfect game, I bet you will be the one to bring us all back to reality. Maybe the future proves me wrong... but he's a ROOKIE for cripes sake! Geez loweez

Villanova has had a number of players in NFL since 1930s; maybe earlier since there were players from there in 1920s.

    Villanova Players/Alumni

    Players: 87 pro players

    Drafted: 86 players

    Top AV: Howie Long (95)

5 players were picked by AFL.  Al Atkinson was drafted by Bills in 3rd, attempted to remade into LB (Bills had no LB Coach) and then waived before season started.  He was picked up by JEST.

    Bernard is not replacing Matakevich.

Maybe he replaces you, just kidding... but I like his skill set

Glad to see do great, but if I was a Seahawks or Pats fan, I really wouldn’t have wanted any drought-era Bills either.

ah, I now see that you were being sarcastic and the original joke went over my head... I am slow to pick up on obvious jests, like you hoping to replace Crowder was not real. Whose the goose? this guy, right here... I am sorry

I’m concerned that all he knows is how to lose. I’ll gladly change my mind if he steps up here.

So did Beastmode and Gilmore until they went to a better.... nah, you're right, every player on a bad team is bad, and no one from a bad team went to a better team and won a championship

Yeah, I think you’re indeed in the minority. A tiny minority. I played football until college, where I took up rugby. In both sports you look to hurt your opponent. You want to be physical and inflict a certain amount of pain. I never wanted to INJURE an opponent. It’s not a “blood sport”, it’s a game. At least, that’s how most decent people see it. You battle, but you respect your opponent.

Yeah, I get you... I played in multiple intramural football/rugby/extreme frisbee college bouts... and flag/tackle football games after college, and they aren't anything compared to college/pro ball. You never try to hurt anyone in those games, and I am usually the first person to calm everyone down... but College and Pro ball has an animalistic approach, that if you are trying to be the do-gooder, then the players out for blood are gonna take your lunch money.

I hate that for any player, on any team, in any sport. Get well, sir.

Happened to me in college... and I was more upset when the opposing team showed support and sympathy... I didn't want it, we were rivals in a blood sport, and to have them clapping for me as I hobbled off made me furious! I would rather they laughed and taunted than clap and encourage. I always enjoyed the brutal competitive nature of football.

I may be in the minority, but I really loved the Spartan-esque battles that happened, and doing everything in your power to demolish the opposition... and if you put the person out of commission across from you, then you succeeded. Every play, I tried to make the person play their last play... and I knew they were trying to do the same. It's part of a very violent game, and at least he benefitted to cashing out before it took his knees.

And please tell me what are the bills? See the pats weren't suppose to compete in the division this year with a rookie QB bit here they are

And oh I see..everytime yhe bills lost it meant the pats got lucky and won enough to catch up to the bills and move past them, got it!

You are like the Dolphins who beat the Pats every year, no matter how bad they are... that's all you are, a lucky one timer

Some people here should look in the mirror before making certain comments. Acting like little brother who MIGHT have grown up enough to beat big brother. So far, big brother beat us this year. Envious of us?!?!

This is from a Bills fan.

Yah, yur not a Bills fan... even if you think you are, you really aren't ... seriously, you're a twink in the best sense of the word

  10. Did anyone notice the play in the 4th Quarter of our game at the 13 minute mark, where the Saints' defender was giving Diggs a prostate exam? How is that not a penalty or a fine?!?!?! I wish I had the ability to make it a gif, or even a youtube thingy, but this guy straight up assaults Diggs' undercarriage! Like, WTF?! I did some dirty crap when I played college ball, but I never made it that obscene or over sexualized.

What's the distinction?   Anything less than severed....and therefore not functional.........is considered a grade of sprain,  is it not?

there is a HUGE difference in a partially torn/frayed ACL and a completely torn ACL.  You can't will a non existent ligament to hold that is not connected. I snapped My ACL twice in college, and had to have full reconstructions with cadaver ligaments... but a frayed is not a sprain, it will never regrow or heal... all that matters is the degree of fraying. So saying a couple guys played with frayed ACLs while others couldn't proves their toughness is stupid and idiotic... VERY VERY STUPID
