Yeah I mean Edmunds has an undeniable physical prowess but there's something about Klein that I like, something that I just can't put my finger on.  He's a real gym rat who bring his lunch pail to work.  First in, last out.  Plays the game with intelligence and grit and respect, the kind of respect that you used to see in a simpler time in our country.  Man I love white old school LBs.

That’s all well and good, but we live in a passing league and you need to be proficient against the pass. There’s no comparison between the two in pass defense. Edmunds is light years better.

  2. This thread reminds me of a preseason game between the Bills and Vikings in the early 70’s. OJ had just put a move on middle linebacker Wally Hilgenberg for a big gain. When Hilgenberg came to the sideline, Vikings coach, Bud Grant layed into Hilgenberg and said they were paying him 250k per year to make that tackle (remember this was the early 70’s). Without missing a beat, Hilgenberg responded “but coach they’re paying OJ 650k to make me miss”.

moral is the other guys get paid too.

They are second in scoring in the NFL.  Every team "leaves meat on the bone".  The Chiefs get sucked off weekly, playing the same game the Bills did yesterday,  making plays in the last second to win.   Get over it

Agreed. We have the second highest scoring team in the entire league. Those who think we should score on every possession are living in la la land.

Its wild how many people here think the #1 seed is “whatever”.

It’s essentially a guaranteed W in WC Weekend and home field throughout.  It’s a massive boost… and Mahomes has literally never played a road playoff game.

It’s likely going to take winning out, because I don’t see a loss on KC’s schedule.   They’ve been healthy in key spots and don’t have the dramatic swings we do.

Odds say they’ll drop one, but I definitely don’t see two, absent an injury to Mahomes or Kelce.

Yes, but neither SB participant last year was the number 1 seed. So it’s certainly not the end all be all.

The Bills are 8-3, a half game behind the number 1 seed in the AFC, who we have the tiebreaker against. We have yet to lose to a team with a losing record, and have beaten every other division leader in the AFC. Why are bills fans acting so horrible to our team? Every other Super Bowl champion for the last 50 years has lost regular season games.

It’s some weird masochist complex. We should be extremely proud of what this team has accomplished. It’s basically unheard of for a team to have to travel back to the same stadium within 5 days and win both.

I'm still not a fan of McD in terms of the bigger picture and his long term viability here, but you have to give him a certain degree of credit for holding everything together these last few weeks and pulling out wins against 2 teams they probably should have beaten more soundly if they were a real contender.

Bigger question is how this team responds now against much better competition starting next week in NE where they have to avoid going 0-3 in the division to keep any faint hopes of a 3rd straight division title alive.

Does that mean Philly isn’t a real contender because they barely beat a bad Indy team last week?

Williams literally got re-injured on his first catch against the Chiefs.

Chargers are talented. Tons of injuries.

Something is off with them/Herbert.  Herbert can make the Allen throws, but when your QB slides in big moments, one yard short of the first down, I don’t know … Might be a microcosm of why they don’t seem to have “it”.

Main difference is Allen will run through a brick wall to win a game, Herbert not so much. Talent is one thing but you also need a certain amount of intestinal fortitude.

Sure, in that cherry picked photo he "caught it" but immediately following this pic the ball slightly rolls and touches the ground, then it bobbles.  Stupid rule, but based on the rule, it's probably the right call.

Rule is if the ball Moves and touches the ground, even for a split second it’s incomplete. Good call.

Lol.  Cool dropped that pass on the sidelines in front of McDermott who pulled him and iced him on the bench for rest of the game.

He also almost caused us an interception by stopping his route in the middle of the field.

Our coaching staff loves to talk about how smart Hines is, how hard he works on his craft.

I looked it up, as a rookie 4th Rounder, first game, 5 carries and caught 7 balls.

He's in his 5th year now and with the Bills he has 2 touches in 3 games.

Stuff like that doesn't add up with the Bills.

We heard how Cook wasn't ready, didn't want to overload him.

We give him the ball because the Browns can't stop the run, and poof, magic, he's good.

The Bills coaches are too obsessed with game flow and balance and the gravitational pull of the moon.

    I

Maybe, just maybe Cook is shining now because of the very thing you mentioned, they waited until he was ready.

So who’s next when we beat the Lions Thursday at 4pm.  OMG- the Pats beat the Jets, so they’ll beat us as the Jets beat us.

Sone people are still in PTSD drought years.  What happened in the Bucs game? We didn’t win, but we took that SB champ to OT and the year before we bounced back from the Hail Murray.

BILLIEVE!  It has a purpose as a phrase.

    BILLIEVE!

Yes, there’s a good reason the oddsmakers have the Bills a 10pt favorite.
