  1. So you're saying your most vivid memory is of Schoop is of him being a complete ignoramus about the sport which he professes to be the most knowledgeable... DO WHAT I DO FOLKS - WHEN YOU HEAR HIS VOICE, CHANGE THE STATION!!!!
  2. I sincerely hope you're right - for DJ, Edwards, and mostly for all of us Bills fans. If not, there's always... Mike Leach
  3. From what I've read, DJ is probably the most decent, respectable man you'll ever find . I think he's so honorable that he will not 'shoot' someone even if his own career depends on it, which is probably why he's so universally respected and admired. Unfortunately for him, this is The BuffTown, we're impatient, hungry, maniacal, fanatical fans who haven't tasted the playoffs for 9 years, some of us remember all-to-well the Jim Kelly era where we scored literally 'at will', and if Jauron doesn't get us to the prom this season, we're gonna be calling for someone like... Mike Leach (Leach cont'd)
  4. CandleDick (or whatever they call it this year out there in Boy's Town) is by far the worst stadium in the NFL. Period. Incontrovertible statement of fact. Complete, total, utter f*#king DUMP. RWS, despite its almost 40 years, is still one of the best places to watch a football game, unless all you care about is quality of cuisine, microbrew/wine selection, and # of hot tubs and side shows. Best sight lines and closest to the field you're gonna find anywhere. My only complaint would be the narrowness of the corridors, which would be fine if they eliminated all the pushcart beer vendors and credit card hawkers that make them nearly impassible at halftime.
  5. It is a universally known and incontrovertible fact that Schoop is a f#cking idiot. Why do you even tune in to that station?
  6. As we all know, you can never have enough DBs.
  7. No, I wanted the QB that led the nation with a 160 rating, 5111 yards, and 45 TDs last season - Graham Harrell - you know, the guy with almost 16,000 career passing yards and 145 TDs. Dude could end up being the next Tom Brady, while Trentie's out for a month with a sore earlobe and Jauron is filing his NYS unemployment claim.
  8. I have no problems with Nelson; I just think Casey would have been better in next season's spread offense employed by Bills head coach/offensive coordinator... Mike Leach (Ya gotta LOVE Leach ripping Magnini in that piece )
  9. holy crap the chargers took vaughn martin from western ontario!!!!
  10. here's one... james casey
  11. just another typical TBD draft weekend
  12. got it still keeping my fingrs crossed - we've had a surprisingly good draft so far... GO BILLSSS!!!!
  13. w/in 30 minutes or so - espn still has it listed as eagles, but it's us (4th round, #21)
  14. According to Mayock... Outside of Oklahoma State's Brandon Petigrew, who's the No. 1 tight end in the country, none of the top prospects have shown they can block." Casey falls into a group of catch-first tight ends that includes South Carolina's Jared Cook, Southern Miss' Shawn Nelson, Florida's Cornelius Ingram, Missouri's Chase Coffman and Wisconsin's Travis Beckham. They all project as "move" tight ends or H-backs, who can line up in various places in the offense to create mismatches. None of them came close to matching Casey's numbers at Rice. "Casey might have the best ball skills of anyone at his position," Mayock says. link
  15. They should... "No team throws the ball more than Rice, which helps explain Casey's 111 receptions for 1,329 yards and 13 touchdowns in 2008. Casey was too busy catching the ball to block in the Owls' spread offense. Turns out he's not alone. Most of the top tight end prospects in this year's draft class didn't block out of a three-point stance and won't necessarily have to do so at the next level." Link - When it comes to NFL prospects, James Casey is one of a kind
  16. James Casey Looks like an interesting prospect. 111 receptions and 13 TDs in 2008 keep yer fingers crossed
  17. espn's got it wrong
  18. James Casey Looks like an interesting prospect. 111 receptions and 13 TDs in 2008 keep yer fingers crossed
  19. think you're right - this guy sure liked him... link
  20. am loving the pace today - at this rate, we'll have our 4th round pick before i fire up the grill! GO BILLSSS!!!!
  21. they have it right on nfl.com link
  22. Brandon says 7-9 won't be acceptable again. We'll see....
  23. Not according to Mark Gaughan... The Bills addressed their need for pressure on the quarterback by drafting Penn State defensive end Aaron Maybin with the 11th overall pick. Then they tried to get tougher up the middle on offense by drafting Louisville center Eric Wood, who they plan to play at guard. Link
  24. Kid's like a human, only bigger. Steelers really liked him, along w/Brown & Bengals. I am liking this draft. Cheers, Bill Now, allow me to say just one word... Loadholt
