You have to look into their methodology to see where/why this happens. This is all data driven:

Performance is measured according to “VALUE,” a regression between ESPN’s Total QBR yards above replacement and basic box score numbers (including rushing stats) from a given game, adjusted for the quality of opposing defenses.

    • The formula for VALUE is: -2.2 * Pass Attempts + 3.7 * Completions + (Passing Yards / 5) + 11.3 * Passing TDs – 14.1 * Interceptions – 8 * Times Sacked – 1.1 * Rush Attempts + 0.6 * Rushing Yards + 15.9 * Rushing TDs.3

I guess my remaining question is where do these multipliers on each of these stats come from? Not to get too meta, but i’d rather know the thinking behind the formula itself, rather than just the formula.

I'm not saying he should have caught more passes on the plays he was targeted in this game. I was speaking of his overall time here. I cerainly understand the offensive issues on this team during his tenure with the Bills, particularly at the QB position; however, we see receivers emerge in similar situations and put up more consistent plays and numbers than he has. Again, I think he has the talent and I have always been a supporter of his - I just don't feel he has managed to play at the level I think he is capable of. Hoping it starts this year.

    Examples?

I wanted Hockenson too, but maybe we can get an elite one next year not that Sweeney and knox are bad.

Knox is an unknown but who knows may be really good and Sweeney seems competent for a 7th rounder. Im okay with this. Detroit is where tight ends go to die but they just keep on picking them high ones. Trying to break that curse i guess.

The media is opinion based and not fact based. I need facts to form an opinion.

My opinion on this case is the same, let the facts come out before judging a persons character.

    Not inconsistent at all.

So where, exactly,  are you going to get these facts you need regarding this case if not from the media, who, as you eloquently admit, are “based but not based” in facts? Are you going to go down there and sit in on the court proceedings personally? (Disregarding, or course, that this is a civil matter and many of the pertinent facts may never see the light of day if this is dismissed or settled.)

See this the exact non-argument used by so many nowadays to just dismiss things that garsh darnit, just don’t seem right to them. It’s a copout of the highest order.

Oh do get lost.  A thug is a thug, regardless of race.

When’s the last time you heard or read a white athlete, or any white guy, called a thug? What about that guy that dove into the back of Josh Allen’s knees the other day? Did you hear or see anyone call him a “thug?” Do get lost.

I don't want to get into an argument that's inevitably going to lead down a path of victim shaming/doubting and all sorts of other messy stuff that never ends well on internet message boards.

But I AM curious...What has Antonio Brown done in the past 12 months to make you think he ISN'T the type of "beyond reproach" scumbag to do something like this? What has he done to earn the benefit of the doubt? And why are you quicker to doubt an accuser that you presumably know nothing about than to doubt a guy who we all at least know is a narcissistic piece of garbage?

Because Teddy is just the type of guy that sympathizes with these cretins. Been clear for a while

FYI, all three incidents were with one woman. Not three different women.

There appears to be some text messages corroborating at least part of her story.

Yeah someone posted the messages above in a embedded tweet. Idk you read those and see if you can make heads or tails of what the heck he’s trying to say. Made my brain hurt trying to decipher some of that

I got the sarcasm and knew what you meant.

I'm just wondering why it doesn't surprise you that he would sexually assault and/or rape a woman.

As much of a dick the guy is, this shocks me.

Sorry read that too quickly - to me, AB seems selfish and narcissistic to an almost pathological extent. I think people like that are a bit more likely to commit crimes of abuse than the general population.

OR I could be way off base and this could all be a shakedown and AB treats women with the utmost respect.
