Josh had one bad decision.
There could be others that aren’t immediately apparent, i.e. missing an open read, etc. have to wait for all-22 i guess. But yes, i only saw the one bad decision too.

That hideous pass by Stafford is why it's just laughable to me that people are bothering to critique every Allen throw.
Relax already. They all make bad throws. Evaluate him after the game. Not a per throw basis.
This thread is for ongoing commentary on the game while it is happening though, isn’t it?

Some minor timing issues on display...neither cole or zay were really “open” on either throw however

Defense looking good again.

Punt game coming along nicely ?

I'm really nervous about Morse.
When asking JW about it last week, his answered seemed more about his overall health and wasn't a fan of putting a timetable on his return, whether it be week 1 or being available at all this season.
McD basically said the same thing today. There is no time table when a reporter tried to narrow him down. Day by Day.
Based on the fact that he got his concussion on the first day of pads, right now I would label it less than 50/50 that Morse will be available for us this season. It wouldn't surprise me if he is one more concussion away from potentially calling it a career.
Of course, his health is what's most important and football is a far second. But as a fan, the response from McD during the process isn't that encouraging.
He's in the 5th and final stage of the concussion protocol. He's fine. McDermott isn't going to say anything concrete until he's completely cleared.
If Morse gets another one once he comes back, then worry.

I thought it was an odd coincidence that recently McD highlighted his play, followed by Leslie talking about him at length at today's press conference. Then came the extended discussion between Murph & Tasker on their show. All talked about how Trent is newly energized, doesn't have to worry about his past injuries and is truly contributing to the defense.
But all that talk isn't backed up by game film, where it's clear that Shaq is outperforming him. Save for a nice spin move on a sack, Murphy has been as invisible as last year. Wondering if the public pep talks are more for motivation or something else, because he's not showing it on the field.
You're not missing anything - Murphy sucks and is completely unreliable. There are various agendas at work trying to convince people otherwise. Glad to see you aren't falling for it.

I'm not being 100% serious. Though I wouldn't mind them trading Zay to a team like the Seahawks who just lost Metcalf. There are 7 or 8 guys fighting for 6 spots
And also 100% wrong. Only guy on that WR corps that gets open more consistently than Jones is Beasley, and he just got here.
like Cover 1 says - job no. 1 for a WR is get open for the QB.
Pay more attention.

Well, his first 5 games in the NFL with a rookie qb and not much of a run game or pass protection and the guy posts numbers that would put him around 1250 yards on a full year?
That's when you invest in a guy, not give up on him. Remember how durable little guys are in the NFL, and our 1 and 2 receivers are little guys. We need big fast strong dudes like RF.
He caught what, 27 balls? That’s some wild extrapolation you got there boss.
So dumb

It was actually not frostbite. Closer to trench foot.
Trench foot is a medical condition caused by prolonged exposure of the feet to damp, unsanitary, and cold conditions. It is one of many immersion foot syndromes. The use of the word trench in the name of this condition is a reference to trench warfare, mainly associated with World War I.
Minor frostbite can cause the symptoms we all (unfortunately) saw on the bottom of his feet as well. No necrosis, but the blistering seen is common.
But - you may be on to something as well. I’m not familiar with high-end, expensive cryo therapy he supposedly engaged in. It could be a combination of both.

LG (spain doesn’t look so good); PK; Punter. In that order i guess.

Excellent work - Ball #2 was not “slightly” off though. Catchable yes. Ball was at McCoy’s shins. Bad throw. He still could’ve caught it, sure. For maybe a 2 yard gain. All in all however Allen looked great.

Andre Roberts.
This guy was one of the key reasons the Jets beat us in Buf. He had 2 monster returns to set the Jets up deep in Buffalo territory. I believe they got 10 points off those drives, he was the X factor that game.
We saw that tonight with the O turning a great return into 7 .
He's also a big part of the pass game.
Just a great signing
Many, many people have been talking about the fact we signed an all-pro returner since we did it. BUT if you want to think you’re the only one that’s noticed that’s okay too.
