Is their dominance on TV driven by Jerry Jones?

A long history of being the best NFL team in Southern TV markets?

Fans across the NFL world hoping the Cowboys fail?

The large TV market in TX, OK, Missouri & Arkansas?

Playing in the NFC East with huge TV markets in NYC, Philadelphia & Washington?

    WHY?

I mean, you sort of answered your own question in the body of your post. Those reasons, plus the fact that they are one of the very few teams with a true national fanbase, should spell it out for you. Have fun with it - watch them lose. Repeatedly. It’s very satisfying.

  2. And 10 pages later, PUNT the troll got exactly what he or she wanted. Have they come back once to respond to the many thoughtful takes  over the course of several days to respond on this? Many, MANY posters in this thread put way more thought into responses to this asinine provocation by the OP and yet he hasn’t come back to reply once in his own thread. I thought that was a rule around here but “rules” around here don’t get enforced equally so who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ bang up job guys

I don't worry about the Bills in the Play-Offs after Thursday's performance.  Three key AFC games may eliminate some pretenders for the final play-off spot.

    1.  Cleveland at Pittsburgh.  If the Browns win the Steelers have 6 loses.  I don't see them doing much more with undrafted Hodges at QB.

    2.  Tennessee at Indianapolis.  They both have 6-5 records.  We beat Tennessee so it would be nice if they won this game.

    3.  Oakland at Kansas City.  I'm hoping for a KC win at home.  Let them clinch the AFC West and watch the Raiders (6-5) fall off the chart.

excellent observations and yes all those outcomes would be welcome.

  4. For those curious:

“Total QBR was developed by a team at ESPN Stats & Information Group including Jeff Bennett, Dean Oliver, Alok Pattani, Albert Larcada, and Menlo College professor Ben Alamar. The group also received input from ESPN analysts Trent Dilfer, Jon Gruden, and Ron Jaworski. Total QBR was developed based on analysis of 60,000 NFL plays between 2008-2010, and was unveiled on August 5, 2011. The formula was modified in 2012 and again in 2013.”
