  1. considering that most folk peak intellectually in high school…,
  2. Some folk go out of their way to come up with all sorts of nonsense to worry about, when it is so obvious that we were up against the cap, and that’s it. Tre had to go, Morse had to go, Von is to expensive to be released presently, Davis was perennially injured, and Mr two TDs in nine playoff games was mentally already out the door, it’s getting to the point that the tin foil hats are starting to show up, now it’s…, “we got the new stadium, so we aren’t gonna try so hard anymore” it’s comical really, oh well, what are ya gonna do…,
  3. Let’s all hope he is getting his mojo workin, 👍
  4. Humans are so inherently flawed that we as a species will pursue our own demise,
  5. I agree as well, but Almost only counts in horse shoes and nukes,, saying that is like QBs being dinged by pff when they didn’t get intercepted, but “ might “ have, games get messy, all these guys are pros, it comes down to.., did you win or did you lose…, in that case we won, so,
  6. He has this discussion in his head all the time, he is ready at the drop of a hat, 😂😆🤣
  7. I’ll go out on that limb as well, Claypool is essentially at his last port of call career wise, I think he could be used effectively even if he is not getting as many targets as Samuel, granted he needs to keep his head on right, we shall see won’t we…,
  8. “If” and I mean “IF “ JA & TB felt inclined to do some film work together to achieve what the OP is getting at, that would be fine, but I don’t think for a moment that either is interested in doing more than that. I would love it if Josh incorporated some Tom Brady into his skill set, and actually used that knowledge when appropriate, if Josh did that he would be virtually unstoppable as a QB in this league, oh well, always hoping for the best…, 😁👍🍸🚬
  9. Don’t know, he hasn’t finished yet…, 😂
  10. This is also the reason that the offense “sputtered” late and in the playoffs, Diggs had pretty much gone to full on trade me mode, and Davis just can’t seam to stay healthy in any season, we had to rely on Shakir, Kincaid and the run game to cover for Diggs and Davis. Diggs has never been a game changer come playoff time, in nine playoff games he has accounted for “two” (2) touchdowns…, while the ever maligned Dawson Knox has had seven TDs…,
  11. Beane will sit in the cash and use it for in season injury replacement guys…, unless a extremely good deal comes to light, those are the only two real scenarios.
  12. Give it time…
  13. I understand your trepidation with those two, but in all reality, like Aaron Rodger’s either of them could get injured in the first game of the season, so sprinkling them in during preseason really doesn’t create any more risk than the first game of the season, likely less chance as no one is playing all that hard in preseason, jmo.
  14. For me, not that certain position groups of concern aren’t worth keeping an eye on, but I’m most interested in how Brady’s play calling and scheming people open will work out after there is film on what we are doing offensively, and can he keep defenses guessing,
  15. Close to it, Sheffield esq type numbers sadly,
  16. Imo, both Diggs and Davis did their late and post season disappearing act, while Shakir and Kincaid continued their upward trends, when your “top two” receivers aren’t producing and you are depending on a first and second year pass catchers it’s no wonder the offense sputtered in the post season, like it or not Diggs career post season production has never been what one would call good…, the numbers don’t lie,
  17. I can understand that view, it is valid. I guess we got what we got, so I tend to look at what can work with what it appears they are trying to do, hoping for the best…, as an aside and to repeat myself, Diggs was not all that during the last part of the regular season or the playoffs as usual, imo it was that he was being required to share more targets and he pouted his way off the team with his lack of effort, and as I said he and Davis were non existent the latter portion of the regular season and playoffs, leaving first and second year pros to take up their slack, not a hard task for decent defenses to deal with,
  18. It might very well be because of our wide receivers room at the time, the ever disappearing late and post season Diggs, and Gabe the “ankle” Davis with his perennial injuries, our supposed two best options, and then outside of Shakir and Kincaid, with a sprinkling of Cook we were not in a position of strength, just a thought…,
  19. As the Rolling Stone’s Keith Richard’s once said about “artist” stealing music for their songs, it’s because “They are bereft of talent “
  20. Don’t do madden or fantasy… and we don’t know if or who our number one will actually be, nor will any of our opponents initially, granted proof is in the pudding as the saying goes, but I think we are in an overall better position than last season, with the ever disappearing post season Diggs, and Gabe the ankle Davis with his annual injuries, and a bunch of other total jags in the WR room, but like I said we shall see…, fingers crossed 🤞
  21. IMO, it leans noticeably more toward the accurate side of the scale, it’s not like Brady is a dufas with no experience at his job, just sayin, 👍
  22. I agree, at least for the first part of the season opposing DCs will be guessing at what we are going to do on offense, spreading the ball around is always tougher for defenses to deal with than them always knowing who our first option is…,
