Best season? The team didn’t make the playoffs, padded stats on an, what, 8 win season is his best? Not so much, individual stats don’t mean much under that umbrella.
Look at the “talent” on that team, that’s a bunch of under achievers.

Frankly, Dak is not likely to be any better than he has shown, the word “plateaued” comes to mind, he’s good but not real good. Paying him that kind of money is a waste of your number one resource, ? ?

Sean’s flaw seems to me is in over trusting his D and not trusting the O enough, that and not giving Brian an occasional kick in the azs during games, it is situational conservatism that is his bane. That and player discipline/execution. It is my hope he has learned a hard lesson during the regular season and especially in that playoff game, and he actually changes his strategies to accommodate needed changes. But we all need to keep in mind these very same things can be said of coaches throughout the history of the game. It is hardly ever black and white, it is mostly shades of grey.

I to will clarify my earlier post, Allen will use technics from various schools of thought on QB mechanics that can help him, and really, isn’t that what we fans hope for?
Shaws66s point about reading defenses better/quicker will certainly make Allen better at his craft.
As said previously, the combination of both would be what we actually want the most.

Expectations? To be who the player he has been for the last four years, give or take a little relative to his assignments, that’s the expectation. Is there some other expectation?
I don’t care about his pay, (it’s in the top 5% of income nationally like every player in the league) that goes for every player on the team.
