    In all reality we don’t get a choice in this process... the short sighted will indeed whimper a bunch, but as long as Josh keeps progressing he stays, as does the HC & GM. These guy are in this for the long term, SM & BB want to be old when they retire here in Buffalo, after they  produced a football dynasty.

    Only two of those guys ever made the team, Da’Rick iirc never had a chance, and Sills just faded away,  ya still gotta have guys that have actually caught passes in games as backup/reserve players. So you can’t disparage/lump them all into one category. One hopes that the PS guys never have to be brought up to the 53, but ya still gotta have them on hand.

    This team, in the all to recent past has had receivers that were not, shall we say,  skilled at making a play on the ball, and catching it, which frankly  is a requirement for any good receiver, now we have three starters that poses that skill. This alone makes a huge difference...

    The reality is that at the start of the season, Singletary will be the presumptive starter/ veteran RB, Moss will be the rookie that they work into the offense. As the season progresses reps will be shared more depending on down, distance, opponent and individual performance, That’s how it actually works, especially with the conservative coaching staff that the Bills have.  Variations on this general theme certainly are likely. If Singletary continues to perform as expected, and Moss develops as hoped, we will have a very good backfield..

    Rip me up on this one, but was hoping we would have gone for this guy.  They are $80 mil. over next year and negotiations have broken off.  The guys I mentioned are not critical.

    I can understand your want to have him on the team, and ya, it is not a likelihood, but it’s cool to think of what could happen if everything went down just right.
