My opinion is he should not be penalized because the game changed so much the last bunch of years...he played when he did, not in the years thereafter. When he retired he was what, 2nd or 3rd in catches all-time? That should count for something. When he played, his numbers where right there with the best of 'em. Get r dun voters...put Andre Reed in the Hall. He deserves it.

I got it fairly quickly. They definitely did not wait for Ortiz to get back...I just got that out and Bruce came within a few days. Better than expected...I was ready for a 3 week wait.

Got my Bruce now too ...no scam. A bit of a pain in the butt but all is now fixed.

Was awaiting receipt and I just got the %$#@!!! Ortiz too! WTF? Did any of you that got the Ortiz contact the seller and find anything out? Did not see any other thread on this, but has anyone else rec'd a season ticket holder cup? Just got them in the mail...this year's giveaway. Thought it was going to be another Tim Horton's mug. It is a hard plastic with a screw on lid and hard plastic straw. Looks good for by the pool. Has the charging buff logo with "Season Ticket Holder" under it. Nothing elaborate, but not bad for a freebee.

My seats are down aways in front of his box, and I have seen him there at quite a few games. Unless he has some sort of body double...

I bought a Wood throwback earlier this year. I think he's great...but had a dual motive to protect my jersey's future as well. My last name is Wood....so it's good forever!

I make the trip from the Albany area. Had seasons for 10-11 years...and went quite a bit before that. Certainly a bit of a haul...but so used to it now that I don't even notice. Harder coming home after a loss though! I've cut back to about 3 gms this year....when we are great someday perhaps I'll have the energy for more! My seats are great...so I gotta keep 'em despite the lost decade in which I've had them.

Those with DTV should call up. I just called them to inquire on the status of the game telecast and told the rep I didn't understand why it would not be on live and was disappointed as I pay a lot for the Sunday Ticket package. He didn't know what the story was, and put me on hold for a few minutes...came back and explained the tape delay, and then offered me 3 months free showtime to compensate for my inconvenience. I wanted the game live, but am satisfied, based on the circumstances, that they quickly offered up the compensation. This is just why I love DTV. Stick it Time Warner (would that ever happen with them?....NOT!) To those with DTV....give 'em a call.
