  1. Because he lied about it. Same problem I have with Alito. The highest justices in the land shouldn't be bold-faced liars. "Inadvertently omitted???". It seems that Alito's letter to Congress was also not truthful as well.
  2. So you're saying that despite all the complete lies and speculation Leo made to distract, this actually COULD be the crime that trump claimed could be applied to everyday Americans. It's really scary that the people who think the democrats are trying to disarm them aren't alarmed and panicked by this. Leo used to be somewhat rational. I'm downright concerned about NCKaren's well-being. The slippery slope is them sliding into madness. Leo's false/misleading trump like claims: He was "trafficking" firearms. LOL "banging through meth" speculation Having the widow "discard" the gun.-He told her it was the dumbest thing anyone ever did "Lost track of"-She outright took it. It's not unusual for others in the house to have access for protection in the event the owner isn't home. Michael Cohen is 10x more credible a witness than he is.
  3. HUH??? Is he charged with being a wealthy lawyer or someone else ditching the gun on him??? I posted what the prosecutor LITERALLY said he was being charged for: "Just that he knew he was a drug user"- Now, how many gun owners/applicants do you think that this could apply to?
  4. Very very very dumb question. Here's another dumb question. Why do nearly 15 million people live in NYC, LA, and Chicago, where the rent is super expensive, and they could get way more bang for their buck elsewhere? Because it's terrible, obviously. Instead, the mouth breathers keep asking why people are leaving. That's how the GQP mind operates.
  5. Must not have been a very memorable trip to Bali. "Inadvertently omitted"??? What does that even mean??? He's a worse liar than Alito.
  6. Washington — Justice Clarence Thomas has formally disclosed two trips he took with Republican megadonor Harlan Crow in 2019, according to his financial disclosure report for 2023 that was publicly released Friday. The report, which was filed by Thomas on May 15, included an amendment to his disclosure form for 2019 to list two trips he took with Crow in July of that year. The first, to Bali, lists Thomas as a guest of Harlan and Kathy Crow. The justice reported receiving food and lodging at a hotel. The second trip, to Monte Rio, California, across three days in July 2019, again lists Thomas as a guest of Crow's. He said he received food and lodging at a private club. The information was "inadvertently omitted at the time of filing," according to Thomas' latest annual disclosure form. It notes that the justice "sought and received guidance from his accountant and ethics counsel" when preparing his report for 2023. Try to imagine for a second if any liberal justice was accepting massive "gifts" from George Soros, AND their spouse(s) was a devout coup supporter. Their heads would EXPLODE. He's not conflicted, though.
  7. They went FAR beyond that. We lost, so let's have a coup.
  8. He should soon become an indicted conspirator. Welcome to the crime family Ron. Hope it keeps growing.
  9. I was mocking them. Wasn't yelling at you. Much like you, I know most politics is created just to get them excited over their biases. I'd rather just go play with the dogs, too
  10. I'm actually a bit concerned about Karen's state of 'well-being'.
  11. Ranting, yelling, lying, conspiring, fear and anger can make you A LOT of money on conservative media. Can't blame him for cashing in on idiots. "YOU WON'T HAVE A COUNTRY ANYMOAR!!!".
  12. Mark Levin from Fox News: Surprise. surprise. Crooked juror in Trump case. How many more? The same Mark Levin who was mad about the reporting that the Biden laptop MAY have been Russian disinfo.
  13. If only the GQP had committed a few more felonies, all of the damage democrats have done wouldn't have happened. LOL Stone, Weisselberg, Navarro, Cohen, Flynn, Manafort, Gates, Briody, and many more still awaiting their trials.
  14. It's fun watching the people complaining about false reporting doing false reporting of their own.
  15. Replace "their" with "trumps", and you're 100% accurate.
  16. Oh, I had no idea this was a fact already. LOL IT'S A FACEBOOK POST. I wonder how mad Mark Levin was about what he called Russian disinformation reporting? It's not stopping him from reporting falsely, though.
  17. THIS claim is almost "certainly" fake. Is Merchan doing his due diligence? Yes. Is it a story? No.
  18. You'd think Jeff Clark would know it's not a crime to break juror oath. What's hilarious is he is actually indicted for an ACTUAL crime. LOL Let's not ignore there's a 99% chance that the self-described sh!+ poster was just doing what he does. He had made other stupid posts about his cousin being a juror previously.
  19. So, we're in agreement this looks that way? My awareness is telling me that right wingers aren't seeing it this way. The difference between this and trumps trial is that it could seem to be EXACTLY what the trump defense is claiming that his trial was, but isn't. Very few people could be accused/charged of falsifying business records to alter an election. LITERALLY MILLIONS of people could be convicted for up to 25 years for applying for, or owning a gun who have smoked weed or other drugs in the past. I'd be willing to bet almost every person in America knows someone who has done it. Heck, there's people doing it AS WE SPEAK.
  20. The nutbars are going to run with it anyways.
  21. Stop destroying their hopes and dreams. “Take it easy… I’m a professional s***poster,” Anderson wrote with a laughing emoji.
  22. Just curious how many of our 2nd Amendment backing posters are hoping Hunter spends up to 25 years in prison for ever using drugs, and applying for/possessing a gun. It's not hard to imagine that this would apply to literally millions of fellow Americans, especially those caught up in the Sackler opioid epidemic in our country. The way the prosecutor is stating the case, if you EVER have done an illegal drug(including marijuana), then you should not be allowed to possess a gun: "On October 12, 2018, when the defendant filled out that form, he knew he was a drug addict," prosecutor Derek Hines said during opening statements this week. "The law does not require us to prove that he was using drugs on that very day. Just that he knew he was a drug user or a drug addict." Is this selective prosecution? Have they went after every person who was convicted of possessing/using drugs, that owns a firearm, because it seems like a slam dunk to me if so? I'm not team Hunter, but this seems like it could be politically motivated.
  23. I was mainly only discussing the social distancing aspect. I just watched a pandemic documentary from 2017, and it was discussing social distancing, so it's not like Fauci made that part up. In 1918, they had the same troubles implementing it, and that's all they had back then. While people may rightfully be angry with some measures, they also must admit that they saved some lives, too. Getting all the facts would be nice, but like all things this also has political theater baked in. I hated the masks too, but it really was a minor inconvenience in retrospect. Certainly not the slippery slope to being obedient commies like some were claiming.
  24. Well, ya all didn't get your slippery slope to communism from the pandemic, so ya may as well cry about having to stand 6 feet away from the people you really didn't like standing close to anyways. If you've ever asserted there's no proof that being closer to someone who is infectious(with ANY disease), then you just might be in a cult.
  25. Let me guess, everything is by the books so far, and it's a legit prosecution? No one is going to find anything wrong with the prosecution or judge this time? Not lawfare. Nothing funny at all about a plea deal being withdrawn, right? Maybe the deep state is taking a day off?
