I enjoyed the masterpiece where the Pats won without throwing the ball, and a big loss to the Colts where Jonathan Taylor ran for hundreds of yards. I really don’t recall the exact circumstances or years without looking it up, but those were both terrible.

It’s easy to forget that stadium security is staffed by locals. Most are dedicated to doing their job the right way, but I’m sure there’s a few who don’t care much about protecting visiting teams and fans, especially if they’re stuck in fan mode themselves. The league should staff a small number of independent security at each game for players to report unresolved incidents. I’m not sure if this isn’t the case, but if not, it should.

In a world where many football coaches lack integrity, McD seems like a great guy. That alone made me root for him, but he’s done something no Bills coach has ever done, even during the drought years. He’s made me lose any sense of joy watching Buffalo Bills football. I’m not certain why I feel this way, but it’s where I’ve been since the Bengals loss. Josh Allen’s heroic performances going to waste is the most frustrating thing I’ve ever seen from a Bills coaching staff. In our history we had teams who were bad, ownership that didn’t want to spend, and coaches who weren’t great, but McD has a unique ability to make football everything but fun.

Josh was spectacular, McD melted under pressure again, but wasn’t Beane’s flawed roster on full display also? I didn’t see any of the many D linemen draft choices make a game saving play, Davis shouldn’t be number two, and the safeties are getting old.

As far as I’m concerned this game is on McD at this point. We’ve seen this story time after time with our offense winning a game. McD’s defense and Beane’s million linemen picks need to do something.
