  1. This reminds me of many playoff games where I thought KC was done, and then they win it all.
  2. Indy isn’t winning without a KC turnover.
  3. Ugh… the Colts are deflated and falling apart.
  4. I understand that no one wants to hear this because I sound like Colinsworth and Romo, but this is where Jones vs Mahomes comes into play. Do any of us trust Jones to drive the Colts downfield now? I hope I’m wrong.
  5. I swear football is turning into the NBA. Teams like Mahomes and the Chiefs sleepwalk through the season before realizing they have to turn it up a notch.
  6. Exactly, they always had several players performing at historically high levels. It’s the one thing that separated KC from the pack.
  7. Gutsy play call with Daniel Jones as your QB, and he almost made a bad play.
  8. Bringing back Kareem Hunt was a desperate move. I admire Andy Reid’s dedication to working with guys on parole, but really.
  9. So true, but I feel like Yankees fans are the only ones who have a right to feel this way. KC’s dominance is recent, you wonder how many of those fans are bandwagon people.
  10. Incredible how much Romo’s announcing career is like his football career. Starts out great, then becomes lazy, complacent , and no longer very good.
  11. I think we’re going to continue seeing this. This is a QB driven league and 90% of QB play is mediocre, no matter how much hype the league tries to give some of these QB’s.
  12. I don’t disagree, but he looks like garbage in a dome this year also.
  13. Yeah, and it seems like the same story with Ben Johnson. He’s been very fortunate with offensive minded coaches.
  14. Pathetic play call from Indy on third and one.
  15. Jared Goff is one of the strangest players in NFL history. I’ve actually defended him as being a really good QB, but I’m not liking what I see. He had a few good years in LA, then turned into a pumpkin, now he’s doing it again in Detroit.
  16. Detroit isn’t looking good. How important was Ben Johnson? I never knew if I fully trusted Campbell. He’s a great personality, but i’m not sure if he comes across as someone I’d trust with an entire organization.
  17. I understand how you see that,I hesitated to make this statement. However, I don’t think the dominant big plays are there as often. Kelce doesn’t take over the game anymore. He posted his lowest career yards per catch and decreased touchdowns last season. He still catches a lot of passes, but it doesn’t feel the same.
  18. He is this year. Losing Tyreek mattered, and although Kelce puts up good numbers, I don’t think he can be dominant anymore. That matters to Mahomes.
  19. To be fair, most people don’t even have “good” clothes anymore. I’m not even sure how to define dress clothes anymore. Most business environments are casual these days, especially for the millennial generation and younger. I do understand there is a next level of trashy also, but you can’t change the airport without changing society as a whole in that case. Everyone has a credit card, therefore the ability to travel.
  20. I don’t trust the Colts either. I think the Daniel Jones story is going to be like the Darnold year in Minnesota. A one off decent year that gets exposed.
  21. Very true, and it’s likely possible. I’d just never say there’s no way Josh would leave.
  22. That’s true, just trying to show the modern NFL doesn’t favor any elite QB staying with the same team forever. I can’t name any who did from the 2000’s onward. Big Ben I guess.
  23. That’s fair, the situation in Detroit was far worse, but I do think modern sports has a culture of chasing the ring in free agency. I’m not convinced any player is above it. Elway belonged to a different era. Brady chased more rings by going to Tampa. I realize Belichick chased him out, but he certainly put himself instantly in a better position.
  24. Matthew Stafford seems like a pretty good dude, and I’m not usually one to compliment random players. He fully embraced Detroit, but eventually did what’s best for his legacy. If Stafford did it, I think anyone would.
