OK, I’ll play. WHO, exactly?
Debo Samuel, DK Metcalf, N’Keal Harry. Anyone of those guys would have been an improvement over anyone not named John Brown.-

that was embarrassing from the coaching staff.
literally playing not to lose, it was disgusting to watch. this is the worst Bills loss since I've been a fan.
Then you are a lucky fan. There have been WAY worse losses than this.-

With the JJ Watt storyline returning, we had no chance to get calls today. The whole 2 he pregame was about JJ. NO holding on the 3rd & 18. Ridiculous
There were some egregious holding penalties on Jerry Hughes, that weren’t called.
But the Holy Watt family has bestowed their greatness upon the league yet again... Let no team tear apart what JJ and TJ have wrought!!

I deny it. It was an illegal block. Now we can call it ticky tack because it wasn't vicious or impacting the play, but refs call those all the time.
Ticky tacky is certainly a way to describe it. -

I guess we're sore losers. In no way did the refs decide that game.
While you may be right, you also can’t deny that this particular call was bologna, and did in fact, cost the Bills at a chance to win the game.-

Correct.
When the refs want the NFL darlings in the Watt family to win, they find ways.

I didn’t use the horn, and Hughes gets the sack.
You’re all welcome.

Well, it’s official. I can no longer use the train horn on 3rd down.

Lucky Bills T and sweats.
Go Bills!!!!

Can’t let Hyde and the run game set up the big play to Hopkins. Letting him loose on Wallace or Taron Johnson will be a mistake. That’s how teams have beaten the Bills this year, and the Texans will approach this game no different.
The key to victory on defense is stopping the run. Hopkins and Watson can’t beat this defense alone.

Weird how Foster can’t really fool the DBs when running deep routes, yet has enough moves to juke and run free as a gunner
apparently?
That sort of makes sense. Getting separation on a go route, is different than a crossing pattern or a dig route, or splitting defenders. Gunning is pretty much a go route. Use your hands to get off your block and run like the wind. John Brown and Cole Beasley are really the only route runners in the WR room. That’s not good when only one of them has good hands. That alone is the reason why this offense struggles. Get reliable pass catchers and this offense scores at least 10 more points a game.
Im not saying Duke Williams is that. Not even close. But we know that Foster, McKenzie, and Roberts, certainly are not getting it done.

Just wow.. They are such a mess. The entire team from the top apparently all the way down to the reporters. I enjoy it, but holy drama Batman
Normally, i would agree with you. But this is too much. It’s boring and it takes away from the drama the league naturally generates.
Who really cares if a head coach has a fake Twitter account. Seriously? What does it matter? Why is it news? The fact is, it’s not. But we’re all going to talk about it, and in the morning Manetta will show up at his desk, and his editor will be thrilled with the amount of traffic the paper has gotten on Twitter and Facebook and google news and everywhere else. He’s a hack writer. Gase is a hack coach. The Jests are a hack football team.

Manish has had it in for every Jets coach since he got the job at The Daily News.
His friendship with Mike Pettine was the source of all the Jets locker room leaks during the Rex Ryan era. This is nothing new for him, or the Jests.
Just another example of how corrupt the newspapers are. Click bait click bait click bait, that’s all these hacks are.

Chan Gailey masquerading as a HC when all he cared about was offense was our best OC lol
This may not be far from the truth. I always wished that there would have been a way to keep Gailey when St Doug got the nod. Gailey’s offensive game planning was good, he called a good game, he just lacked any kind of real talent on the team. -

We have to be one of the worst teams at tackling....

Imo, it was a disaster.
This league is about your QB........and when you pass on a QB that looks like one of the best ever (when you needed a QB badly) that's a disaster.
It would be, if the Bills had drafted Josh Rosen. The fact that they drafted a QB who is showing a great deal of promise, doesn’t make it anything close to a disaster.
Again, the revisionist history in this thread is hilarious. Mahomes was put in a perfect place to succeed. That place didn’t exist for him in Buffalo.

Yes because the offensive personnel was mostly awful.... thanks to the new regime.
No, it’s not the fault of the new regime. It’s the fault of previous regimes who left the cupboards bare if talent and money.
revisionist history is a beautiful thing

No one can possibly believe that Patrick Mahomes would have been an MVP candidate in year 2, if he were on the Bills.

Easier to blame the coaches than the players we love.
So many opportunities in this game and the players failed on both sides of the ball.
This is a really important point. Any coach will tell his players, if you can get your hands on it you better catch it. A ball hits Beasley on the hands, and he drops it. Another hits him in the arm pit, and he drops it. Yet another is “too high”, but it glances off his hands.
Hands receivers are more important than size at this point. If a guy catches with his hands, he’s using his body to get his hands in front of the defender.
Josh Allen needs guys that can catch.

Without real weapons to compliment John Brown, this team will continue to struggle to sustain drives.
I was huge on N’Keal Harry, imagine a physical talent like that opposite JB. Cole Beasley isn’t the answer that Josh Allen needs. He needs a hands receiver. Someone who can make a play on the ball every time it’s thrown to him. To many times in every game, Beasley’s arms get short, or his legs don’t have enough spring.... but then he makes a play on the game ball at the end. Consistency is a young QB’s best friend. Short passes and screen game would be wonderful additions to the offense.
If Brandon Beane doesn’t support Josh Allen with skill players, then in 3 years, it won’t matter who the QB is.

The pass to John Brown was brilliant.
That 4th and 1 was incredible, both ends of the spectrum on that play; total defeat to legendary victory.
A few more skill players and this team is deadly.
Josh Allen is the man for this team and this town.

Post Playoff Game - Is Josh Allen the Bills Franchise QB?

He gets the yips at the worst possible times. Im not sure how to coach that out of him. I honestly feel like he needs to be confident in the guys around him to make plays too.
Hopefully the focus on the offseason is to provide him with reliable skill players who catch the ball with their hands, and have keen situational awareness.
