This is the smartest post of the day hands down. EVERY flag on us will be a massive conspiracy theory. Every possession will be knee jerk overreactions. And God forbid if Taylor Swift shows up on screen. The crying from grown men will be otherworldly over the top. And ALL the Debbie Downers will be out in full force today.

We really should just name the game day thread the Mos Eisly Cantina today. And you can look forward to, at the lowest point for us, one of or both of those two resident Chief fans that always post here to step in and do their passive aggressive rubbing salt in the wound routine.

Im going to Adventureland with my family. I’ve never been more disinterested in a game in my life. There’s no up or down feeling. I’m expecting them to lose, only because they’ve done nothing this season to inspire belief that in a big game that means something, they will show up all game.

I’ll watch the replay when I get back, and be thrilled to be wrong. But I’m sure I won’t be.

    Regarding the defense:

They have got nothing from their top 3 LB's and Shaq Thompson should not leave the field at any down or distance in teh immediate future.

Taylor Rapp should have been removed from teh starting unit week ago.

The DL is is OK and will probably be an asset when they get Jones, Sander and Hoecht back.

Their corners are not great but they're not awful and are far down the list of problems.

Completely disagree about the secondary. The entire unit is the reason this defense is strand costing the Bills the past 2 games. White is washed. Benford looks lost, and Johnson is a shell of who he was even last year. The safeties are terrible. Atrocious is probably a better word honestly.

It’s going to take more than a Rashul Douglas type trade to save this defense this season.

  3. Sadly, I think it’s less about getting New England back on top, and more about the needs of the gamblers. The refs kept that game close, and it was blatantly obvious.

Obviously, you have to overcome all obstacles, and the refs don’t excuse the lack of execution in the secondary.

But momentum killing penalties play a huge part in keeping a score close for covering a spread or a betting line.

  4. Watching this NFC game, I feel like the best team is wearing white and playing at 6.30.

I’ve never felt that way before, and I’ve been a fan for over 40 years. There’s something about Allen and the rest of this team that LOOKS different. It’s not the same old Bills. It’s not the Bickering Bills.

It’s finally different. Finally. And I’m ready for whatever happens after kickoff.

I listen every day and I’m way out of town, downstate. I gotta go out of my way to listen to it and the station is horrendous. It’s part of my bills season routine so I’ll keep doing it but these kids are terrible. Some of the least knowledgeable humans on earth when it comes to sports. Not even out of just sports radio guys….out of just people in general. Jeremy has always been terrible. I can’t remember the last time he made a point that I agreed with. The station is so unprofessional it’s inexcusable. I live an hour from NYC. This garbage would not fly down here. These people know absolutely nothing

I’ve always appreciated your hot takes. Even when I don’t agree with them. But this is pretty accurate.

Sal is already great this morning.

I listened while I was out shoveling. He’s got great analysis, has a simple rule “have a good take”, and he loves the team. That’s what I want from a sports radio host.

Not passing judgement but the people who call into the station sound like mental patients who got a hold of a phone and immediately called in.

i get the station is about fan involvement but the callers are so bad.

the shows are fine I guess.  I enjoy Sal and one bills live.

but damn the callers, the only thing worse than their sports opinions is their insistence on telling everyone about their feelings on todays other events.  As if anyone listening didn’t know that they are.

I don’t understand why the morning show does not have big guests on.  Morning shows around the country get the best guests, sports or non sports related.  WGR does not.

This!!! The callers are brutal. It does us no service as a fan base, when these are vocal ones among us. The takes are brutal. Some guy just called up to talk about his German exchange student? What? Who cares that next week you’re going to be in Costa Rica and to watch the game in Spanish?

I don’t mind J and J. Dope and his lapdog are simply unlistenable

I rarely listen to J/J. I’m usually already at work by the time they start the show so today was a rare “treat”.

I remember when Schoppe was new to the radio, and loved his snarky comments and the idea of “Sports talk for Smart people”. I even had a “caller of the day” during the Flutie/Johnson debate. But now? Holy smokes are they unlistenable. If I’m in bad traffic I’ll put it on as a way to atone for my past sins, but when I’m not riddled with guilt, I listen to anything else.
