  1. Which was against a playoff team. The “all of those losses” part was in context to the quoted win-loss record against non-playoff teams. Joe Brady’s offense has only lost once and it was against a playoff team.
  2. The first ever NFL double elimination.
  3. I guess the only consolation is that all of those losses were under a different OC.
  4. I took all of the playoff teams and looked at what their records are against other playoff teams: Team | Record | Record against playoff teams Baltimore 13-4 6-3 Buffalo 11-6 5-1 Kansas City 11-6 1-4 Houston 10-7 2-2 Cleveland 11-6 4-3 Miami 11-6 1-5 Pittsburgh 10-7 5-3 San Fran 12-5 5-3 Dallas 12-5 3-4 Detroit 12-5 3-3 Tampa Bay 9-8 1-5 Philly 11-6 6-2 LA Rams 10-7 2-6 Green Bay 9-8 3-3 The Bills actually have the best record percentage wise and the only loss was by a 60+ yard kick in the rain. The other 5 losses were against non-playoff teams which isn't great but it bodes well that the Bills rose to the occasion against top competition. Other observations: - Not surprising the Dolphins have a terrible record against playoff teams. The narrative on them against good teams stands. - More surprising is KC also did poorly against playoff teams with only one win against Miami, the team they are playing this weekend. - Baltimore and Philadelphia had the most wins against playoff teams by only 1. - Pittsburgh actually has a strong record against playoff teams. Can't take them lightly. Granted one of those was against the Ravens backups.
  5. Go for it. Easy decision.
  6. Padding those turnovers just in case so he maintains cumulative lead after next year too.
  7. Why are we copying plays from the Giants?
  8. Sadly no tie. Now we watch the Titans with great intent.
  9. ok just 2 more safeties!
  10. Ok guys... we just need 3 safeties.
  11. Under 5 minutes they have to look at that right?
  12. Actually.. they are already getting close with lots of time and 3 timeouts. Not out of the question....
  13. So... regulation ends with Colts kidding a FG, onside kick, and another FG right?... RIGHT?
  14. NOOOOOOOOO
  15. What about Moss? 🤣
  16. Depends on the Jags/Titans game. Titans win, Colts are still in, otherwise they are both out.
  17. Welp, I updated the chart. Time to cheer on a tie!
  18. Relax. I was only kidding about that part.
  19. Well, the good news is a tie with Miami still gets the Bills into the playoffs. As a matter of fact, if ANY of the 4 games that matter to the Bills end in a tie, they are in.
  20. I do like that match up. I wouldn't be too afraid of Pittsburgh either.
  21. You're mostly correct. 85% assumes that every game has a 50/50 shot. Vegas odds alone tells us this isn't the case. Some teams are more likely to win any one game over another. Using current Vegas odds and the 3 games in question (Pitt/Balt, Tenn/Jax, Buf/Miami), the games can be adjusted to show that a result that hurts the Bills has a percent chance of 59.4%, 65.8%, and 45.5% respectively. Multiplying those out to get the odds that exact sequence happening and the Bills missing is 17.8%. That means the chances of Bills making is %100 - 17.8% or 82.2%, lower than your suggested 85%. This also assuming that no ties happen, which is a safe assumption.
  22. That is true, unless of course the Steelers win. It is the FIRST game that matters, but not the only.
