  1. Wow, now all we need is a shark attack to get this off the front page.
  2. Doesn't this belong under the consumer thread? and it's a repeat. RMPL.
  3. I agree with this, and my point all along. To say LIdzen has interestes in gas and oil, is disingenuous, considering that a lot of the scientists and the spokes people like Al Gore have made tons of money, from litigation, movies, books, speaking fees, etc... And stand to make tons more if Kyoto were passed as businesses would be forced to move industry to offshore underdeveloped countries that have a relatively low pollution count or don't fall under the guidelines. Kyoto would do more to damage our economy with little or no effect on real world reduction in industrial pollutants.
  4. How's about the opinions of one of the 11 scientists from the National Academy of Science who was asked to review the basis for the Kyoto Treay? http://eaps.mit.edu/faculty/lindzen/OpEds/LindzenWSJ.pdf http://www.opinionjournal.com/extra/?id=110008220
  5. We are pretty much staying steady locally. 1.91-1.99 for regular.
  6. And while I worry about industrial pollution, I haven't seen enough evidence that isn't politically or economimically movivated to have me believe that GW is as bad as some think. If you look at the history of the world there have been some major swings in weather over just the last 10K years, and for the "experts" to blame it on mankind is disingenuous at best. My concern is more with industrial pollution and the slow posining of ourselves and children.
  7. No, no, no. Not GW as in Bush bad. GW as in Global Warming. As in, if the winter is bad, it's Global warming. If it's good it's global warning, if it's sunny and hot, its GW.
  8. What no pickle juice or garlic
  9. tomato juice vodka hold the tomato juice extra vodka
  10. I didn't read the whole thread, and if this is done already I apologize, but 2 to hang the darkness reduction tool.
  11. So basically you're saying what most everyone says. No matter the weather it's GW.
  12. For every Vince Young there are thousands of other who truely are there for an education that are on athlete scholarships. Do not condemn all for the stupidity of the Vince Youngs and Jason Peters who score 3 on their wonderlics.
  13. My point is there seems to lots of articles saying that GW is getting worse and is the cause of hurricane frequency and stregth. So now scientists seem to be backing off that since their bold predictions of a worse season then last year didn't occur. http://www.time.com/time/nation/article/0,...1099102,00.html Whether GW is true or not, I am not debating, I am debating the sensationalism that the tree hugging crowd, Goreits, etc... like to constantly orate about, and then when things are different, they have another excuse to dismiss their earlier findings.
  14. So I don't understand. Which hospitals that are tax exempt do you not want to be tax exempt. If they have to pay taxes, I can assure that those that cannot pay will not get in. Too many malpractice, and insurance issues. There are lots of costs associated with a hospital, and one way they can be profitable and beholden to their board is by the ability to be tax exempt which quite frequently doesn't cover the coverage they provide for the poor and unable to pay. You now are recomending even less coverage for the "lower class" citizens just to have a few million in tax revenue. Not sure as a country that is advisable.
  15. Hospitals that are tax exempt are only so if they agree to care for people even if they have no way to pay. If a hospital is for profit and "turns away" patients they are not tax exempt. Might want to research things before you make blanket statements.
  16. Wow, Crowell > Spikes and Losman = Jim Kelly. Both in the same week. Do you guys actually watch the games, or do you only go off stats? Crowell Is good in coverage, but he is terrible getting off blocks and most of those tackles are 7 yards down field as he is tackling the RB going by. Rarely does he hit him head on as he can't gap fill and shed blocks. Spikes has neither of those problems.
  17. 1. Artichoke 2. Malted Milk balls 3. The Revolution Starts Now 4. You 5. Cindy Lou-Who
  18. Obviously not enough. Maybe if you would have made a few more bookcases, they could have had bigger books
  19. And again, read the story, the intensity is down as well. There goes that theory.
  20. Not me, I was at home eating wings, drinking and thinking up reason to hate Losman even more.
  21. http://www.cnn.com/2006/WEATHER/10/03/hurr...t.ap/index.html Now they expect less hurricanes then normal. Make up your minds.
  22. Me either. But she's bigger than me, so she probably could beat me up herself.
  23. First he likes Favre ass, now he feels his receivers.
  24. You know when I was in HS, long ago, we had a rifle team. The kids actually brought the rifles to school, and they were in the locker, or down in the range. Yet, noone thought twice about it. Maybe if we armed our children this wouldn't happen.
