It's a win-win for the Packers and they have full advantage.

No. How? How is a rolling out an even further disgruntled Rodgers a win-win? They're an absolute mismanaged dumpster fire that have seemingly been at odds with him for years. They've given him nothing, it's irreconcilable.

I remember arguing with people last season that thought Green Bay was still a contender. They went on to not be a contender. They're a trainwreck, and I don't understand why fans tend to think they're a well managed franchise simply because they're a historic one.

  2. Should not take a 1st but Hopkins is on a different tier than perennial very good but never amazing Brandin Cooks. Hopkins was on the fast track to all-time elite status up until about 2 years ago. People underrate Nuk and seem to think he's lost a step, but I also think people tend to overrate an always serviceable Brandin Cooks. Diggs-Hopkins would be the best tandem in the league. Yes, even over Cincy.

Bills fans tout Allen based on flash plays and flash athleticism. He’s not consistent. He goes buck wild under pressure. He’s achieved nothing. There’s no reason to get offended by people who are able to step outside the hype and critique him for what he’s been.

He didn't even critique him though lol. He even called him #3. All of this other stuff that you injected is just your constant, exhausting, thinly veiled anti-Bills annoyance.

  4. I really enjoyed the Jamaal Williams story this year but I'm not liking the fit unless it's probably much cheaper than he wants. It was really one season. Prior to this year he felt downright Zack Moss-like. He was a 4.0 plodder that took touches away from Aaron Jones for much longer than he was a double digit TD back. He's also got six pretty heavy use seasons under his belt.  I don't see where he fits really, and as much as people hate it, Devin's career ypc and stats in general are far better.

Now D'Andre Swift? It would seem like three of the same with Hines and Cook but man is he dynamic. Averages like 6+ yards per touch whenever he's healthy. Also, every talking draft head and their mother has been projecting Bijan Robinson to the Lions for weeks now as if it's already a done deal. I don't want him in the 1st but I've got to assume somebody else gets him now, or the Lions really are clearing things out and Swift is on the block as well.

He also lost his only great OL for the season early on.  Slater was a huge loss.  Allen missed most of the season. Imagine if Dawkins and Gabe missed the same time?  And gabe isn’t nearly as good as Allen.

I don’t think Herbert has earned the right to be ranked ahead of Allen yet.  Just like Allen hadn’t earned the right to be ranked ahead of Mahomes prior to this year…. Yet many did.

I'm not arguing that he isn't a good QB - I think he's firmly in the 6-8 range - but I don't think he's displayed anything close to Josh's ability and definitely shouldn't be ranked ahead of him. You seem to agree, so is your argument that Herbert could potentially be better with a healthy line, etc? I personally didn't see that at all this year. He almost played timid at times in a way that Allen/Mahomes/Burrow never do.

  6. Herbert?! Lawrence is a stretch but Herbert is ridiculous. He took a step back this year if anything and is clearly not the same type of dominant force as Allen or Mahomes. He has still not turned the corner and become the all world freak that people thought he would become 2 years ago. I feel like every Justin Herbert game this year was him listlessly throwing for 280 yards and 1 TD.

  7. Lol half time shows. Was there ever a good one? Maybe Prince but then I just remember nonsense like this and multiple doses of Coldplay. It honestly feels like something they should start to sunset, but I imagine there's still a bajillion dollars worth of profit and product placements that still happen somehow and must continue.

I've always like that song where she goes Work Work Work Work Work for some reason.

Now lets talk about KC yes? they in the SB yes? Their #1 WR is ranked in the mid 30's and their #2 WR is ranked in the 50's. The point is, many teams do quite find with a 2A and a 2B WR.

Sorry man, but you really can't say this and conveniently not mention the fact that they also have the greatest TE ever in his prime. You're allowed to slack on wide receivers when you have Travis Kelce. Diggs is essentially our Kelce in terms of impact. If you can somehow get Kelce Jr on this team, then Diggs may become more expendable, but you can't roll with both sub-par WRs and TEs.

  9. Nah. We might actually have the better Cook brother right now. I'm a Dalvin Cook fan and thought he had a shot at being one of the greats a couple of years ago when he was scoring 2-3 TDs every game, but he's currently the perfect marriage of one too many injuries and a talented but old back. Worst case scenario he's approaching Todd Gurley territory, best case he's a talent that you can get cheaper. Can't do it, too risky for this team with too many other holes, but I hope he goes somewhere else and rips off a 1500 yard season.

Because the difference in the game is a catch that wasn't a catch, and a 4th string quarterback fumbling the ball at his own 30.  Also because until last week Purdy and the 49ers were either the highest or 2nd highest scoring offense in football since his insertion into the lineup.

Fair enough, genuinely curious and that's hard to argue. I think they've squandered Deebo a bit, and thought he'd be more unleashed today. Top talent in the NFC getting Zay Jones level touches right now. I think the Eagles are probably much better than most want to admit, and have simply found the Niners love (#1 in Power Rankings etc) annoying, so I'll admit my bias.

  11. I know it's early but I'm kind of happy to see this, not gonna lie.

I got so sick of so many talking heads, including quite a few around here, that have been crowning the 49ers since about Week 11. It's Brock freaking Purdy. Yeah, I know he's not playing, but that's also the point. Similar to Tua you can't have your QB getting rag dolled, or sitting with a broken finger, or whatever it is that Josh doesn't do. The 49ers have been a paper tiger. They're not properly utilizing Deebo. The offense should run through him even with McCaffrey. Also, Brandon Aiyuk kind of sucks overall and is not even Tee Higgins level. The Bengals or Chiefs would eat this 49ers team. Eagles on the other hand, are a problem with all of that legit talent on offense.
